- 1. Don't look up creature sheets unless given explicit instruction.
- 2. Crits are just X multiplier damage, not rolled multiple times.
- 3. If you're in a situation where failure does make a significant difference, you're not allowed to take a 10.
- 4. Armor bonus to AC is instead calculated as flat DR.
- 5. Misplays/mistakes are not reversible. They happened, so play accordingly.
- 6. Ask for clarifications before making an action, because mistakes based on a lack of clarity on the situation will be counted as actually happening.
- 7. Running is a full turn round action that disables 5 foot step, but allows you to move up to triple your move. The run feat increases this to 4x.
- In addition to the AC penalty, some things to remember about running:
- Running is a full round action, so you can run then act next round.
- You must run in a straight line. Most GMs are reasonable about allowing a diagonal-ish line, but if the map requires you to turn (e.g. a bend in a hallway) you have to stop if you've used more than twice your movement.
- No running through difficult terrain.
