  1. Thought you enjoyed the time with us? I thought your resignation for 'personal' issues was something serious, Nito Nazuna." His voice becoming stern towards the end.
  2. "H-How?... Why?" Nazuna looked around at Izumi like he'd seen a ghost. "Why are you h-here?"
  3. "So annoying." He shook his head, looking displeased. "Nazunyan, you've been around us a lot lately. Boss is getting a little... worried." He sighed before walking over to Nazuna. "So why don't you just be a good little boy and stop with all this nonsense?"
  4. "I-I can't." Nazuna looked away from Izumi's harsh glare and began fiddling with a button on his coat, trying to put himself at ease.
  5. "Do they know? Does your 'master' know that his dog used to be a member of the same organization that he despises?" He smiled once again, knowing his methods were beginning to work. "Maybe I'd have to tell them. I'm sure you've not told them so maybe... Just maybe... I'll have to expose your-" He leaned closely towards Nazuna and whispered "dirty little secrets, Na-zu-nyan~"
  6. Izumi's warm breath on Nazuna's face caused him to shiver slightly, the night air was cold and the heat of Izumi's breath contrasted with it. Nazuna's hands, that had previously been playing with his buttons, began trembling slightly.
  7. Noticing the shaking of Nazuna's hands, Izumi's voice softened slightly. "...How pitiful." His voice was no more than a whisper. Nazuna looked up at Izumi's slightly pained expression and as he opened his mouth to ask what was wrong, Izumi turned away.
  8. "I expect that you'll be a good boy, Nazunyan."
  9. Once Izumi was finally out of sight, Nazuna felt his legs give out and the sharp pain as he hit the cold, hard floor caused him to wince. Tears began forming in his eyes, he knew he was powerless against Izumi's words. He almost wanted to stop Izumi from leaving, to ask him why, but he couldn't bring himself to. He didn't have the courage and for the first time in a long time, he had lost his sense of security. Everything seemed to suddenly be crashing down on him. Memories from the past that he'd wished to abandon were finally coming back to haunt him.
  10. "Why now?!" he thought to himself, wondering why they'd not approached him a lot earlier. He would have been put in this situation no matter when they'd chosen to fight back against him. To him, it looked like someone had been keeping tabs on everything he was doing and reporting it back to the boss. There was just one thing he couldn't understand out of all of this. He knew they'd eventually target him, silence him to stop him from moving freely but he just couldn't understand...
  11.
  12. "Why Izumi-chin?"
  13.
  14. Izumi shuddered, feeling a cold shiver moving down his spine.
  15. ----------------------------------
  16. Returning back to the base of operations, he was met by a male with wild, green eyes and bright orange fire-like hair charging over to him.
  17. "Sena! You were out for longer than usual! Did your target give you some problems?" The one charging towards him questioned him eagerly causing Izumi to sigh but still put effort into answering back.
  18. "Don't you have work to be doing? Seriously... The head boss should be tougher on you, king." Izumi glared slightly at the overly cheerful ball of orange. He would never understand how he managed to have such a high ranking among them while also being like this.
  19. "There you go with the 'king' stuff again... My name is Leo! Tsukinaga Leo!" He put emphasis on his full name but then smiled brightly at Izumi. "Wahahaha~! I guess you can call me 'king' though! I am above you after all" This was something he loved doing and would do it at any chance he could: messing with Izumi.
  20. "Anyway, my work went fine. I get the job done just like always, that's all there is to say." He refused to talk anymore about a job that was enclosed to him and not anyone else. Leo pouted at him but dropped the subject he then spotted someone in the next room through an open doorway and began running towards that person.
  21. 'As giddy as usual.' Izumi thought to himself, watching as Leo chased after the person who was now yelling at him to leave. He peeked into the room and Leo was chasing around a boy with red hair. 'Chasing Kasa-kun as usual too. He never changes does he?' The sight almost caused his lips to curve into a smile as he almost felt slightly warmed by it. Shaking off the moment, he went down the nearby staircase down to the room he stayed in.
  22. The well lit room was one he'd known as his for a while now. There were bookshelves full of old literature, some horrors and then just books he'd looked over once or twice. The walls were a deep red but coloured with hints of black and silver. The floor was wooden with a simple black rug laid in the center of the room below a small coffee table. The room wasn't huge but it was a place that was spacious enough to hold quiet a few items. The higher your rank was, the bigger the room you got was so there were rooms bigger than his own but also rooms that were smaller.
  23. He made his way over to the small desk that also held his computer and began searching for something to watch. Generic TV shows were things he watched to pass the time since there wasn't really much to do around there during the evening. However, this time he couldn't seem to focus on anything. His mind kept wandering.
  24. His mind kept wandering back to the same incident...
  25. His mission he'd had to carry out to silence Nazuna.
