  1. All my life I have had an interest in helping people. I never thought about becoming a nurse, or even taking a biology class in college, except maybe as one of my general eds. Near the beginning of the school year, my cousin was involved in a car crash, and me and my mother went to visit him in the hospital. At the time, I was still thinking about my career, and still considering an English degree. While we were talking to my cousin, a nurse came into the room to check up on him and see how he was doing. It was like a light was switched on in my head, and I had a realization about my career path and life after college. Nurses truly do help people, and while I haven't decided on my life after my ADN and whether or not to pursue further education, I do know what I want to do. I want to help people. Through some other extra-curricular activities,
