  11. [2016-01-06 14:01:24] * CopyCat screams, mentally and physically, as her shield bursts in an instant. Scorching flames douse her body, the fire not only burning but trying to tear her apart at a molecular level and send her to oblivion.
  12. [2016-01-06 14:23:18] * CopyCat pants. Her legs shake and she struggles to continue standing, but she was alive. All her friends were. She looks at Bookwright, Golden_Dream, and Noble_Heart, scorched but still breathing, and she could still sense the friends she couldn't see.

It should keep everyone alive... but casting like this was exhausting her quickly.

He throws the bolt on his AMR, the four inch long spent casing cartwheeling into the darkness. Steadying himself as best he can in the air, he lines up another eyeshot, blue flames of a different sort licking out of his muzzle brake and pushing him back through

  23. [2016-01-06 15:32:22] <Kkat> 3The anti-machine rifle does considerably more damage, tearing into the flesh of the dragon's eye.
  24. [2016-01-06 16:11:18] * Bookwright flaps his somewhat scorched butterfly wings and barrels into the cavern of the Mother of Balefire. As he flies, the Jukebox Gun twitches and jerks impishly in his wake as before swoops forward, quickly overtaking him. It stops right before the unharmed eye of the Mother of Balefire, before shuddering out sonic horror.
  25. [2016-01-06 16:14:43] * Bookwright doesn't wait around. As soon as the second blast is unleashed he's wheeling about and flying at best speed for the interrogation room again, dropping back into cover behind the doorframe.

  27. [2016-01-06 16:19:00] * Bookwright attempts to force magical energy out of his horn.
  28. [2016-01-06 16:20:19] * Bookwright tingles a bit as he almost loses hold of the healing spell, but manages to cast it successfully on himself... just barely.
  29. [2016-01-06 16:32:23] * Mitzi blinks as the shield around her pops away, but seeing the dragon blinded made her feel confident her friends were looking out for her. She rushes in to really lay into the dragon .
  30. [2016-01-06 16:45:00] <Kkat> 3Mitzi greviously wounds the dragon, tearing huge, bloody gashes through Her armored hide.

[2016-01-06 16:53:27] * Noble_Heart draws the starmetal meteorite closer to her person as she beats her wings, the specks of dragonfire kicked free and falling as glowing green embers in open air. She snorts at the dragon's display. "Such talk of sacrifice from one so unaccustomed to loss." Her horn glows as her shield reappears around her, and the stone, before she tilts to one side and moves away from the
  32. [2016-01-06 16:53:28] * Noble_Heart observation area. "It is time someone reminded you what real sacrifice looks like." She concentrated her magic to lash out with lightning at the massive dragon, the crackling thunderclap roaring through the enclosed space.
  33. [2016-01-06 17:00:26] <Kkat> 3The Mother of Balefire staggers, knocking over a rack of balefire eggs with a swipe of Her tail as She stumbles back.
  34. [2016-01-06 17:02:35] * Mitzi pulls her claws out of the dragon gore as Noble_Heart zaps her to avoid getting shocked
  35. [2016-01-06 17:06:15] * Get_Lost ignoring the fight, the solaris pony assumes the worst and enacts her plan. she gallops to the security tation, trying to get back the megaspell prototype that was left there
  36. [2016-01-06 17:13:52] <Kkat> 3CopyCat's shields go up around everyone as the Mother of Balefire roars. "Enough! Die! All of you!" What follows are words in an ancient draconic language, full of raw and dangerous power.
  37. [2016-01-06 17:14:39] * CopyCat 's shield reforms around her friends ready for the counter attack. CopyCat gasps as the spell casts, her horn straining and sending out pulses of pain through her body. It was too much. She couldn't keep doing this.
  38. [2016-01-06 17:15:29] <Kkat> 3Within her shield, CopyCat sees a shimmer that grows into a wound in the very air itself. Each of her friends sees the same... and the thick, broiling pink vapor that starts pouring into their shields, swiftly filling them.
  39. [2016-01-06 17:21:20] <Kkat> 3The Mother of Balefire is not done with the hellhound who has so greviously wounded Her, however. With a swipe of Her left wing, she sends one of the balefire eggs at Mitzi.
  40. [2016-01-06 17:34:51] <Kkat> 3The balefire egg bounces, the wounded dragon's aim untrue. But the explosion of green, necromantic fire is massive enough to envelope Mitzi anyway, rending apart her shield and felling the hellhound.
  41. [2016-01-06 17:36:53] * Mitzi is thrown by the blast, the Shield evaporating and the blast of bale flame washing over her. While it had the benefit of heating the air and making the pink cloud rise, the explosive force hurls her against the wall again, and she slumps down, her bandages burnt to ashes.
  42. [2016-01-06 17:38:49] * Get_Lost has no idea of what is going on, but is a solaris and has a plan. she won't stop until it is done
  43. [2016-01-06 17:41:10] <Kkat> 10"We think it is time for you to join us, Noble_Heart," says the Voice of Vault LIV. Noble_Heart can feel a strange and frightening pull, the sensation of cosmic undertow.... but she remains.

  46. [2016-01-06 17:45:40] <Kkat> 3His flight has taken him close enough to the factory for the automated defenses to lock on. The air fills with sprays of heavy gunfire.
  47. [2016-01-06 17:47:01] <Kkat> 3Sparks and ruckus erupt across machinery and engineering struts. Fortunately, only one turret has a clean shot.
