  1. Okay so I've decided that I've talked about it long enough, now I'm going to go ahead and make it a much more explained and thought out thing.
  2.
  3. There are seven variables to everyone's 'Power Class'. A power class is, well in the simplest way possible, the limit and extent to which a person's septums can generally function.
  4. The seven variables are as follows
  5.
  6. -The Suit:
  7. There are 7 suits, 4 of which are commonly found in a standard deck of playing cards. These 7 suits define how a person's powers can be used.
  8.
  9. -Discrete or Continous:
  10. Whether or not their powers are Discrete(going on in the background) or continous(outside and in the open).
  11.
  12. -Principal or Agent:
  13. Whether or not the user's powers are used only by Principal(as a reaction to something that goes against their principles, beliefs, or themselves) or as an Agent(used as they see fit, generally going out and finding a place to use them).
  14.
  15. -Personality:
  16. The 'Personality' of their powers determines how and when they can use their powers, and under what circumstances.
  17.
  18. -Title:
  19. The title is the biggest determiner of how they use their powers, depending on the title, a power can be used in many different ways, even if its the same power.
  20.
  21. -Aspect:
  22. The aspect is what a person controls, and how they use it depends on the previous 5 variables.
  23.
  24. -Power Level/Septum Amount:
  25. All creatures in the pitoverse are born with Septums, this determines how many they have at a resting state.
  26.
  27.
  28. Now allow me to explain how all of these work in much more detailed ways.
  29.
  30. ----===SUITS===----
  31. There are seven suits, these are as follows:
  32. +Hearts:
  33. ]]Those with Hearts in their power class can only use their powers for benificial methods, such as healing others, helping others with their powers, saving others. Etc, etc. If they have Hearts as their suit, they will be UNABLE to use their powers in any method to harm others, even in the event that harming another might save one they want. Please note however, that things such as bacteria are exempt from this, and can be harmed (although its frowned upon)
  34.
  35. +Spades:
  36. ]]Spades is the other side of the coin, those with spades as their suit can only use their powers to cause negative effects. Such as by being a weapon, or instigating violence and action.
  37.
  38. +Clubs:
  39. ]]Those with clubs as their suit can only use their powers as a tool to achieve their goals, commonly viewed as one of the more powerful symbols, as a tool to reach your goal can also be a weapon. While this is correct, you'd only be able to use them as a final resort, if there is no other option other than to kill them to achieve whatever goal you are hoping to get. As such, those with clubs, while able to use violence as their solution and tool, will find it much harder and nearly impossible unless it is absolutely required to achieve their goal.
  40.
  41. +Diamonds:
  42. ]]Diamonds signify wealth and prosperity, and those with this as their suit, are only able to use their powers should it be profitable for them.
  43.
  44. +Wheels:
  45. ]]Wheels is a suit that allows thoes with it to use their powers as a means of transport and movement. Easing and paving the way for them to move along. Whether this is by killing the obstacles in their path, or literally by lifting them up and moving, is up to the person in charge of the powers.
  46.
  47. +Rackets:
  48. ]]Those with Rackets as their suit are only able to use their powers as a method to get ahead in competitions and rivalry. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES is this the same as weapon, unless the competition requires death to the other being.
  49.
  50. +Skulls:
  51. ]]Skulls is the rarest suit, and generally unused by nearly all. Those with skulls as their suit can only use their powers through death and destruction, sometimes even their own
  52.
  53.
  54.
  55.
  56.
  57. ----===Discrete or Continuous===----
  58. There are two options in this, Discrete or Continuous, their definitions are as follows:
  59. +Discrete:
  60. ]]Those who are discrete are always using their powers behind the scenes, generally making sure none ever know of their powers, sometimes even those with powers don't even know they have powers.
  61.
  62. +Continuous:
  63. ]]Those who are continuous generally use their powers more blatantly, and in the open. It's usually obvious and easy to tell who a continuous one is, as they are usually unable to use their powers without it being seen.
  64.
  65.
  66.
  67.
  68.
  69.
  70. ----===Agent or Principal===----
  71. The two options for this one are Agent and Principal, their definitions are as follows:
  72. +Agent:
  73. ]]Those who are Agents generally go out to use their powers, looking for their targets, and using their powers to get their own goals done.
  74.
  75. +Principal:
  76. ]]Those who are under the restriction of Principal, however, can only use their powers as reactions to others.
  77.
  78.
  79.
  80.
  81.
  82. ----===Personality===----
  83. Personality can come in many ways, and determine how a person can use their Title and Aspect. The powers they have can only be used if it fits the Personality they have assigned to them.
  84.
  85.
  86.
  87.
  88.
  89.
  90. ----===Title===----
  91. The title is always literal, and determines how a person uses their Aspect and powers. Their titles are always simple and to the point, being as literal as possible. Please see the examples below for more explanation
  92.
  93.
  94.
  95.
  96.
  97. ----===Aspects===----
  98. The aspect is what they use in their powers. It is also always literal.
  99.
  100.
  101.
  102.
  103. ----===Power Level/Septum Amount===----
  104. Every creature in the Pitoverse has Septums surrounding them, and in them. They can only keep around a certain amount of septums alive at any single moment, and should a septum die, they are almost immediately replaced. Septums are sub-atomic particles capable of bending time, space, and the laws of reality to their whims, however a single Septum can only do one thing, before perishing.
  105.
  106.
  107. One more thing before we're done, Legends.
  108. Legends are those who have died in a certain way, experiencing these things along their own adventure:
  109.
  110. +Mind:
  111. -Loss
  112. -Betrayal
  113. -Hate
  114. -Guilt
  115. -Corruption
  116. -Lust
  117. -Vengeance
  118.
  119. +Body:
  120. -Bruising
  121. -Burns
  122. -Stab
  123. -Cuts
  124. -Cracks
  125. -Torn
  126. -Impaled
  127.
  128. +Soul:
  129. -Insanity
  130. -Death
  131.
  132. Now these things can be experienced in any wished, but Death must be the final one, and the most prominent wound that killed them, or the wound that meant the most, will gain an irremovable tattoo of their Aspect, the back of their neck will have the symbol of their Title, and their pupils will morph to form their Suit. To which then they are revived. None of these are reversible, and one who is a Legend will stay a Legend.
  133.
  134. Becoming a Legend allows much more power over their aspect, but still inbounds of their Title. The biggest change being that they now have a nearly unlimited pool of Septums to use. They are nearly unkillable, only able to die by being killed the same way they were initially killed to become a Legend.
  135.
  136. I.E. Someone is killed by getting their throat slit, then they're revived as a legend, the only way to kill them would be by slitting their throat again.
  137.
  138.
  139.
  140. HOW TO CHANGE POWER CLASSES
  141. 5:46 PM - Lady Sevacre: Basically any power class can become another power class should the character go under a large amoutn of stress
  142. 5:47 PM - Lady Sevacre: Usually, the person must be at the end of their ropes before being able to change their power class, and it is usually an extremely exhausting and painful transition, both physically and mentally draining
  143. 5:47 PM - Lady Sevacre: As they are literally using their will to forcefully change time and space's choice of power class
  144. 5:48 PM - Lady Sevacre: Changes are usually once in a lifetime things, if they even happen, which is rare.
  145. 5:49 PM - Lady Sevacre: And generally speaking, a person who changes their power class, usually dies in the process, or would rather not do it again.
