Tess ran over to the upstairs room, saw the door open, and knew what had happened. She quickly sprinted back and called the police, then immediately hang up. It was the only way. She went into the basement where vdd was.

Ciastex saw her, the figure, wearing dtr's clothing, saying stuff into his ear... telling him the truth about Tess... But then she left, and Ciastex crawled on, trying to get up the stairs.
