Why Spam Blogs need to Go

Dear Mike Mirzayanov,
	Recently, CodeForces has seen a large increase in the number of spam blog posts. These posts have been very detrimental to the community, as during the period while they are up, we are unable to see many of the important recent blog posts. Not being able to see these posts means we are missing out on community discussion and interaction, which plays an integral role in the CodeForces community. We believe that minimizing the amount of spam should be a big priority for CodeForces, at is would have a large noticeable impact on CodeForces experience. On behalf of myself and the rest of the CodeForces community, I strongly urge you to look into the spam situation. Thank you.
