"Thanks for coming over Ashley, I really think I got it right this time."

"That's great, Penny … What did you get right?"

Penny had called Ashley to her lab one afternoon - Penny had been working on something that she was very excited for Ashley to try, and the Witch decided to agree because she had nothing better to do. Penny smiled at the girl as she finished pouring some chemicals, bringing Ashley a small glass.

"Drink up!" Penny said, looking very happy with herself. Ashley smelled the glass, looking suspicious.

"What am I drinking, exactly?" She said, raising an eyebrow. Penny leaned down, kissing the Witch's cheek, causing her to blush - Penny's kisses got Ashley to do almost anything.

"Please, Ashley? I think it'll work this time …" Penny said, giving Ashley sad eyes. Ashley sighed, putting the glass to her lips.

"Bottoms Up …"

As the final drop went down Ashley's throat, the girl's expression didn't change - Penny frowned, looking disappointed. Ashley looked up at her, puzzled.

"What's supposed to happen?" Ashley asked, seeing Penny's unhappy face.

"It was supposed to be a love potion … You know, make you fall for the first person you see." Penny said, sighing. Ashley's face became a deep red as she turned away.

"You don't need anything to make that happen." Ashley mumbled, Penny smiling and hugging the girl tight.

"If that's the case …"

Penny smirked, grabbing Ashley's arm and dragging her from the room.

Diamond City - Ashley's Mansion

A few days later, Ashley was in the Mansion's library, browsing through the various old spell books that were in the shelves. She picked up a book, opening it and beginning to browse through the pages.

"A new spell would be something to kill time, so- …" The girl paused, a strange feeling overcoming her body. Something felt different, but … What was it, exactly? She felt happy for some odd reason - She was only happy when Penny was around, but this was a strange feeling - All of the annoyance of the real world she usually had just disappeared.

"Ashley, come on! We're gonna be late for the company picnic!" Red's voice traveled through the Mansion as Ashley snapped back to normal, running out of the room and heading upstairs to the main floor.

"Wa ha ha! Pass the … Everything!"

The WarioWare Team was gathered in the Diamond City Park for a company picnic that Mona had arranged, and Wario agreed to for the free food … And he made sure that food was all his - Everyone else looked hungry as they watched him devour every single food near him.

"Wario, I made this lunch for everyone, not just you!" Mona said, smacking a sandwich from the large man's hand. Wario looked surprised as he looked over at her, shrugging and continuing to stuff his face.

"Good afternoon, everyone!"

The group all turned, smiling - Usually Penny was this cheerful, so the little scientist must have shown up.

"Hello, Penn-" Everyone began to say, but was cut off by another voice.

"Hi, Ashley!"

Everyone turned, seeing Penny waving at the Witch - So she was already here, so that happy voice came from … Ashley?

Ashley gave the group a big smile as she sat next to Penny, wrapping her arms around the girl and pulling her close.

"You're so cute today, like everyday." Ashley said, nuzzling the girl. Penny giggled, blushing.

"Ashley, s-stop it … Everyone's here …"

Ashley looked up, curling the redhead's hair around her finger. The group, including Wario, was just staring at the two girls, jaws dropped. Ashley blushed, smiling at them.

"You guys, stop it … You accept us, you guys are our friends!" Ashley said, her smile staying. Everyone stayed quiet - Was this really Ashley?

"Ashley, are … Are you feeling alright?" Kat asked, standing and walking to the Witch, placing a hand on her forehead. Ashley giggled as Kat looked disturbed, removing her hand. "Well, you don't have a fever …"

"Of course not, I'm always this happy!" Ashley laughed, nuzzling Penny more as Kat slowly backed away. "You guys, nothing's different from how I always am! Now let's enjoy the food and have a nice time!" Ashley said, standing up and taking Penny's hand, helping her up. Penny blushed, hugging the girl's arm and nuzzling her cheek.

"This is such a nice surprise … I love this side of you." Penny said, continuing to nuzzle the Witch. Ashley smiled, leaning in and kissing Penny's cheek.

"I love you, silly … You always make me happy."

Penny blushed, but the rest of the Team looked very disturbed. They all exchanged glances before Mona finally spoke up.

"I think we can just call this a day … See you guys tomorrow." She said, everyone standing and beginning to slowly walk away.

"Yeah, see ya tomorrow Mona …"

"Ana, what were they doing?"

"Nothing, Kat … I'll explain later."

Ashley's smile didn't leave as she watched her co-workers walk away. She waved to them all, her other hand grabbing Penny's.

"Bye, everyone! Have a good night!" She said, Penny kissing her cheek.

"I'm so glad you're happier now …" Penny said, holding on to Ashley's arm as the two left the park, heading down the sidewalk. Ashley nodded, nuzzling the girl's cheek.

"Yeah, after I drank that thing you made, my life's never been better!" Ashley said, Penny nodding.

"Yeah, after you-" Penny paused, turning to look at Ashley. "So after you drank it, you started feeling this way?" She asked, Ashley nodding at this.

"Yeah, I feel so much better now! The world's just beautiful!" The Witch said, Penny now beginning to look disturbed. She put on a fake smile, nodding in agreement - This wasn't that fun anymore. This wasn't her Ashley - But maybe this happiness would be a good thing?

Diamond City - Mona Pizza

The bell rang as two small ninja walked into the building.

"Hello, Mona!" The two said in unison, Mona smiling from behind the counter.

"Hey Kat, Ana. What'll it be today?" She asked, the two girls looking rather unhappy. "What's up? Something happen?" Mona asked, looking concerned. Ana looked up at her, nodding.

"Yeah … What was wrong with Ashley yesterday? She seemed kind of … Not herself." She said, Kat nodding in agreement.

"Yeah, it was weird-"

"Good afternoon, girls!" An overly happy voice rang out as the door's bell rang, Ashley and Red entering.

" … H-Hi Ashley." Mona said, looking uncomfortable. "What can I get you?"

Before Ashley could answer, Red hopped to the counter and looked at Mona, his eyes very wide and full of fear.

"Please get her away from me, she-" He was cut off by Ashley grabbing him by the tail, pulling him into a tight hug.

"You're my bestest friend, Red." Ashley said, accidentally starting to cut off the Devil's breath. Red gave Mona a pleading look, slowly beginning to close his eyes from lack of air. Mona quickly hopped over the counter and yanked him from Ashley's arms. Red took a few deep breaths as he dusted himself off.

"Ashley, why don't I just get you something on the house today, since that picnic was cut short … You too, Kat and Ana." Mona said, walking into the kitchen. The three other girls smiled, Ashley speaking up.

"Thanks, Mona. That's so nice of you, I'm just so glad we're friends." Ashley said, giving a big smile. Mona shivered, looking very disturbed.

"This HAS to stop."

Diamond City - Penny's Laboratory

"Okay Penny, I know you had something to do with this."

Mona headed to Penny's lab to confront the girl about Ashley's new personality. Penny sighed, nodding.

"Yeah, I did …" She kicked at the ground, looking away. Mona grabbed her shoulder, looking into the girl's eyes.

"Whatever you did, fix it - NOW." She said, glaring at her. Penny quickly nodded.

"Okay okay! I-I'll see what I can do!" Penny said, looking rather scared of Mona's angry glare.

"Good. It needs to be done by tomorrow afternoon, because I am NOT putting up with little Ms. Sunshine and Flowers during the company meeting!"

With that, Mona left the building, leaving Penny time to think. One drink did that to Ashley - maybe another could cancel it out?

Ashley hugged Penny tight as she entered the lab, causing the redhead to blush but quickly snap back to her senses.

"I have another thing for you to test, if you don't mind?" Penny asked, Ashley quickly nodding.

"Of course! Anything for my Penny!" Ashley said, following Penny into the next room.

Penny gulped as she finished mixing the proper chemicals, pouring the liquid result into another glass, slowly handing it to Ashley.

"T-There you go, enjoy …"

Ashley smiled, gulping down the drink and sighing happily as she caught her breath.

"That was delicious, Penny. I think I'll- …" She paused, looking around. Penny looked concerned, waving a hand in front of the girl's face.

"Ashley? Hello?"

Ashley looked at her, her eyes back to their annoyed glance.

"Why am I here NOW?" She asked, no emotion in her voice at all. Penny pounced at the girl, knocking her to the floor as she kissed her cheeks repeatedly.

"Oh, Ashley! I'm so glad you're back!" Penny said, nuzzling the Witch. Ashley looked disturbed, but patted the girl's head.

" … Back? I didn't go anywhere."

Penny smiled, looking up at her.

"Don't worry about it … Let's just go do something, 'kay?" She asked, standing and smiling at the Witch. Ashley smirked, taking her hand.

"I found a new spell book in the library .. Let's go test it out."
