[20:09] <@Scarlet> "Well, um, welcome!" She lets you in and scampers off again, presumably to her room, and shuts the door behind her.

01[20:10] <Chase> "...Hm..." he closes the door quietly behind himself as he looks around the apartment.
[20:11] <@Scarlet> The inside is similarly furnished to the downstairs.  Kitchen, living room, two bedrooms and a bathroom...Ammy is sitting on a couch, a bottle of wine on a small table in front of her and a bunch of paperwork all over the place.  She's parsing over something and adjusting her glasses as you enter.
[20:12] <@Scarlet> She looks over and smiles.  "Hi Chase.  Been reading over...all these reports. Hm."
01[20:14] <Chase> "Extra busy, huh?" he smiles back, and goes over to have a seat as well.
[20:16] <@Scarlet> "It's a lot to catch up on.  Can see why it's so underwraps.  Took at lot of convincing to get it all, especially considering my status."
[20:16] <@Scarlet> "Though seems that's under review now with all this coming to light."
01[20:17] <Chase> "I guess this has a bit to do with some of the stuff we saw yesterday?"
06[20:17] * Chase scratches the back of his head, a bit awkwardly. "Listen, 'fore we get into that... this isn't really easy to ask, but... I dunno. This doesn't change anything, does it? We're still... together, right?"

[20:41] <@Scarlet> "We were out in the wilds on Light Isle, the forests around Darkfeather.  Nothing important, just exploring.  It was night and I was keeping watch."

[20:43] <@Scarlet> "Eventually....I...found something like these Sirens mentioned here, and the things Miracle Eye and Saryx were talking about...it wasn't quite human, or Pokemon.  But it was certainly a child.  Some...creature was trying to kill it."

[20:46] <@Scarlet> "All that was left of it was the charred body of a young boy.  He looked about ten."

[20:49] <@Scarlet> She rubs her face. "It was bad.  They, even -I- thought I had just killed a kid.  They had Psychics screen me, and the visions were certainly what I saw, but..."
[20:50] <@Scarlet> "They concluded I was hallucinating and placed me on suspencion until further notice, worried I was a loose cannon.  Later on I learned the boy was a foreigner and had been kidnapped and brought here, but nothing else really came of it."

01[20:52] <Chase> "The other possibility being... something turned that poor boy into a monster..." he says quietly. He looks at the papers sort of blankly as she waves.

[20:55] <@Scarlet> "Pretty much everything you've witnessed so far, all the reports of it."
[20:56] <@Scarlet> "The..thing about the human trafficing of kids into this region.  It can't really be coincidence, can it?"

[21:18] <@Scarlet>  After a bit of snooping around Corbin pauses, and you see a young black kid in basketball shorts and a wife beater carrying a small wooden box around, dropping some creepy looking dolls here and there.
[21:18] <@Scarlet> "KING KONGS N MAH TRUNK KING KONGS" he seems to be rapping to himself.
[21:20] <@Scarlet> Corbin continues to follow this kid, and you witness a scene where the kid wanders into an alleyway where a Son of Grant is talking with some thugs.  The kid sorta panics and hides behind a dumpster, the Son of Grant sees him and gives chase.
[21:21] <@Scarlet> Eventually it turns into a rooftop chase with Corbin following along on the ground...and...something weird is really happening with that kid, but it's hard to see on a screne this small.
[21:22] <@Scarlet> Ammy squints, leaning in closer. "What's...he doing?  We need a bigger screen I think..."

[21:24] <@Scarlet> She gets up.  "Just a second."

[21:29] <@Scarlet> Ammy sits the laptop down and closes a bunch of stuff, including an episode of Mighty Moe Meguca Rangers.  She doesn't think anything of it but Anna seems embarrased, just watching from her doorway at the moment.
06[21:29] * Chase swipes his phone off and makes some room. "Alright, let's pull this up again."
06[21:30] * Chase gestures Anna over. "Ammy was tellin' me about her suspension, and I remembered something odd in our dropbox..."

[21:31] <@Scarlet> Doesn't really improve her embarassment, seems she thought you were gonna just watch silly videos or something. "Oh...um..."

01[22:35] <Chase> "And after everything else yesterday, I decided to give them a break from the unexpected developments."
06[22:36] * Chase sort of shrugs.
