<BrandonBoone> I'd have dinner with Beethoven and ask how deaf he really is, but in a nice, friendly way. I'm just skeptical and saddened by his deafness

<BrandonBoone> I started writing music for a local radio station that caters to the blind, for their radio plays I mean.  I was a fan of Nosleep since season 2, around season 3 I asked David if he needed help with the music and sent him a demo of my work.  Simple as that haha

<BrandonBoone> 1. Pick a Key 2. Play around with instruments and synth sounds 3.  Write an underlying progression 4.  Improvise and play around on top of said progression.

<BrandonBoone> Mozart, hands down not close.  He was wild and erratic.  Theres no way to combat something like that. Beethoven never stood a chance. RIP

<BrandonBoone> I would summon Clint Mansell every day until I racked up maybe.... 5 years of my life.  Im okay with losing that much.  The fantasy would to just hang out and talk music/teach me.

<BrandonBoone> Thats tough because I can't say Halloween, I'd bring down the quality of the music.  I'd say The Shining (i know the horror aspect is debatable, but I love that movie)

<BrandonBoone> I used to have trouble sleeping, with sleep deprivation came hypnogogic hallucinations.  Typically Id wake up and see things that weren't there and snap out of it pretty quickly.  Well, one time i woke up and everything seemed normal, until i went into the bathroom.  I looked into the mirror because my mouth felt weird.  I lifted my top lip and saw

<BrandonBoone> I have not, but if its anything like the other Korean horror films I've seen, I will need a shower after it.

<BrandonBoone> This may not be a popular answer but I'd rather be famous composing music I hate.  I think even if I hated the music, I'd find gratification in my ability to write music that people enjoy.  Plus, I'm already unknown for producing my best work :P

<BrandonBoone> Goosebumps. I loved goosebumps as a kid and reading horror was always easier for me.  Movies scared me too much when I was young.  Even the halloween episode of salute your shorts was too much for me.

<BrandonBoone> oh wow.  There are two and I can't remember the titles.  I think The Lovers is one of them, where a killer decapitates the woman in front of her husband?  and the story abut the little girl dying and the dad being given a photo album of her growing up.  Those two REALLY got under my skin, they were too brutal.  I struggled writing the music because

<BrandonBoone> Nah.  I enjoy writing lyrics but not stories.  I love working with other authors though.  Ive worked with Manen Lyset and Alice Lily.  I just pitch the idea, then sit back and relax.

<BrandonBoone> Don't be afraid to fail.  Failure won't kill you, it only teaches you.  As long as you're making personal progress, who cares if your music is "good" or not.  fuck it, just do the thing.
