[07:29] UU: I am the ancient turtle spirit Podil.

[07:30] UU: I know who you are. I've known since what you may consider as the dawn of time.
[07:30] LP: Really?
[07:32] UU: I call you because a great power threatens to destroy the universe again.
[07:32] LP: Again?
[07:35] UU: I hardly remember, as it was so long ago and I was but a child. But there was a time before time, and peoples who enjoyed their ancient world.
[07:37] LP: You mean a universe before this one?
[07:37] UU: Sorry for being so slow to explain. In addition to being a naturally slow creature, I am holding an unexpected second conversation.

[07:39] UU: Those of the Old World had good lives, but they became greedy.
[07:41] UU: They wanted a bigger world, and after much research into magick, they thought they had their answer.
[07:43] UU: With their great powers they took the essense of the universe, and split it. Perhaps they had thought such dangers minimal, as they had already made the splitting of the atom safe. But they were wrong.
[07:44] UU: Two creatures came from it - one a manifestation of creation and heart, the other of destruction and doom.
[07:44] UU: Does that sound familiar to you, Prince of Heart?

[08:47] LP: The creature of Heart sounds like Sophia, the Denizen of Heart.
[08:47] LP: I... don't know who the manifestation of Doom is though.
[08:47] LP: I didn't have a Doom player in my session.
[08:47] UU: You are half right.
[08:48] UU: Sophia is but a fragment of that ancient manifestation of creation.
[08:48] LP: I see.
[08:48] UU: But the manifestation of doom is the one who destroys the opposite of doom, heart.
[08:49] LP: I see.
[08:50] UU: Do you know of anyone who qualifies as a destroyer of heart?
[08:50] LP: Princes destroy with and through their aspect.
[08:51] LP: So... me. Though I only destroy the souls of those that piss me off.
[08:51] LP: And my enemies.
[08:51] UU: Did you know... that you are the only Prince of Heart?
[08:51] LP: Of my session, yes.
[08:51] LP: I doubt I'm the only in all of existence.
[08:52] UU: No, I mean you are the only one there is. At all. Infinite parallel sessions with infinite permutations, but only one Prince of Heart.
[08:53] LP: I highly doubt that, but okay. If I am the only Prince of Heart, what does that mean?
[08:59] UU: You should know what it means, though I can understand your hesitation to admit it to yourself. It is very hard, perhaps impossible, to face the truth with such blood on your hands.
[09:01] LP: I doubt that could be the case.
[09:01] LP: ((Though this is an interesting headcanon.))
[09:09] UU: Please, do not hate yourself for this. What happened is not your fault - it's not anyone's fault, or at least nobody is is still here.
[09:10] LP: Alright.
[09:10] UU: Yours is the only way to achieve true death. It is your exile from the Essense that prevents the dead from fading away in their dream bubbles. You are a necessary part of existence, but your current state is unnatural.
[09:10] LP: Unnatural?
[09:13] UU: When the old ones pulled you from the Essense, they gave you a living form. But death should never experience life.
[09:13] LP: I have actual memories from growing up on Earth.
[09:14] LP: I have memories from growing up as a child.
[09:14] LP: I don't remember being some cosmic serpent.
[09:15] UU: Oh, but you are remembering. I never mentioned that your first form was a serpent.
[09:17] LP: I've played Ultima VII. Your story made me think of the Ophidians and the three great Serpents of Chaos, Balance, and Order.
[09:23] UU: I am sorry to say this is no story.
[09:24] LP: But isn't an afterlife an important part of the cycle of Life, Death and Rebirth?
[09:25] LP: An afterlife allows the dreaming to mingle with the dead, and reconnect with their loved ones.
[09:26] UU: And then what?
[09:27] LP: Have you ever heard of reincarnation? It's possible that the souls of the dead in dream bubbles eventually rejoin the living in a new body.
[09:28] LP: If I were to destroy those souls, that process would never happen. Death would be it. That to me seems unnatural.
