  1. I won't be that guy. And that leads to the next trouble...getting devs to trust you enough to become a junior dev. Now and even back in 2238 they don't trust anyone, especially americans lol.
  2.
  3. All i want to do is mainly add quests, but not errand jobs - real quests with unique map locations. For me that means making 600 maps just to get started. And i would do it too, but the mapper is too slow.
  4.
  5. What i would do if i was a coder...
  6. There are various pieces of machinery in this game, each with graphics. I would make some new random maps that have one each piece of heavy machinery. You find one and you pay some NPC movers to haul it back to your warehouse base. You collect enough machinery parts over time and you can build your manufacturing plant base. Perks of this base include: auto-crafting, and ability to craft something otherwise uncraftable. It takes a ton of work to get there, so duplicating this would be rare.
  7.
  8. Another thing...
  9. Export each of the vehicle images and pull them into a paint program. One by one give them each paint jobs with different colors. BAM! 12 new Highwayman, and all it took was painting one yellow, one black, one blue etc. Now make 3 copies of each of those Highwaymans and give each a different racing stripe. BAM! Now you have 48 new Highwaymans to choose from. Do the same again with decal packs: fire in the wheels, taxi cab, Gamma Gulp on the door, numbers on the door, skull-n-bones on the hood, etc etc etc. We'd have 350 different versions of the Highwayman car.
  10.
  11. Production Cluster Base
  12. The warehouse base and the manufacturing base mentioned above would be 2 of a 7-base cluster. You site where you want the middle base to go. It's a farm base that produces food. The other 6 construction sites appear around it in a tight hex but they each lack a billboard. Finish building the farm and the next billboard appears. And on and on until you build all 7, but no rush because you need your farm to stock up on food, which is used to support the NPCs who work at the other 6 bases. So you have to keep upgrading your farm to reach max food production before you rush into the other bases. 2 guys work the warehouse. They eat food. You have to get them a truck to haul machinery for you. 2 guys work at the manufacturing plant. They eat food too. They craft stuff while you're alseep. A bartender and 2 girls work the Clubhouse base (base #4) where you can park a large number of NPC companion followers. You park one and use another, bring that one back park him and switch to a 3rd. You need to feed them all, so upgrade your farm like crazy first. A mine base, a car dealership base (which allows safe player trades), and a medical clinic base would make bases 4, 5 and 6. The medical clinic would have 3 NPC workers too, medics who come to your aid once you bring them a police car to use. Get them a Vertibird and they show up much faster. Nobody can steal the vertibird because it never lands - the medics repel into your encs.

  14. And on and one man i have too many ideas to write them in 1 PM.
