06[22:31] * Corinne looks up from her bed, her arms still wrapped around her Slowpoke. She lets go, letting Cutie flop down onto the bed cutely. "Oh, Hi Bella. Today's the right day, right?" she asks, talking a bit faster than usual. She's wearing the nice sweater that Isabella got her, as well as a pair of jeans. She's even done her hair slightly, unlike the usual 'wake up and go' style.
01[22:32] <@Isabella> "Mhm. Oh good, I see you've got your sweater! I'm going to fetch my coat, myself... Wispring is supposed to be really nice, even at the beginning of summer." She heads in to grab her warm jacket, but doesn't put it on yet.

[22:34] <Corinne> Corinne nods and gets up, returning Cutie to his pokeball. "Yep, i've been waiting, so I made sure that everything is ready!" she says, grabbing a small attache case from the top of her dresser.
01[22:35] <@Isabella> "Great!" She grabs her purse, which is unusual for her.
01[22:35] <@Isabella> "Let's go catch our train, then. I'm so excited~"
01[22:36] <@Isabella> She stuff half the jacket into the purse and heads out, nonchalantly.
[22:37] <Corinne> Corinne hurries alongside Isabella. "So...What are we going to be doing up there?"
[22:39] <Mons> It's... not very fast! Granted, the "supposed to be nice" wasn't entirely correct, though the region's almost-perpetual cloudiness hangs over a bit. Nobody seems too concerned about rain when you get there, though--the town itself is an odd one, built in a ring around the middle of the mountain with suburbs and smaller houses stretching out down the slope, and laboratories and specific farms and workshops stretching up.
[22:39] <Mons> The town's positioned closer to the bottom than the snowy top, though.
01[22:41] <@Isabella> "Well, I had thought about how you wanted to go skiing before, but we got interrupted by that seismic event, so..."
06[22:42] * Corinne gets off the train slowly, slightly admiring the town's layout from the point of view of someone who knows nothing about town layouts. She looks back at Isabella. "Oh...Well, that was sledding, actually...I don't really u-uh...Know how to ski."
01[22:42] <@Isabella> "We're going skiing in the best slopes in the region! There's hot springs, too."
01[22:43] <@Isabella> "Oh, well there's a time and a place to learn these things!"
06[22:43] * Corinne nods. "I suppose it can't be -that- hard..."
01[22:44] <@Isabella> "There's a gym here too, but we can always come back for that another time~"
06[22:44] * @Isabella takes Corinne's arm, cheerfully.
[22:45] <Corinne> "O-Okay. Well, uh...Where do you want to go first?" Corinne asks, walking alongside Isabella.
01[22:46] <@Isabella> "A good day of skiing followed by relaxing in the hotsprings sounds nice..."
06[22:46] * @Isabella pauses a moment to put on her jacket as she starts to look for the skilift or whatever they use to get up the slopes.
01[22:47] <@Isabella> "If you've got other ideas, I wouldn't mind." she smiles.
[22:48] <Corinne> "N-No! I want to make sure you have fun, so that sounds perfect!"
[22:48] <Mons> The way up is pretty obvious, signs everywhere... The slopes, of course, double as a gym, with the facility built over one.
01[22:48] <@Isabella> "Are you sure? I want to make sure you have fun, too."
06[22:48] * @Isabella begins heading that way, then!
06[22:49] * Corinne blushes a bit, before saying "B-Being around you will be fun enough for me..."
01[22:49] <@Isabella> "Geez, look at that place... I think the brochure said it was Ice and Rock type..."
01[22:49] <@Isabella> "Awww, that's so sweet, Corinne."
06[22:50] * @Isabella proceeds up the trail.
01[22:51] <@Isabella> "I'm sure this is going to be a day to remember."
06[22:51] * Corinne nods. "O-Oh! Before I forgot, I got some things for you..." She says, motioning to her attache case.
01[22:52] <@Isabella> "Oh? A gift? 'rinne, you didn't!"
06[22:52] * @Isabella looks over with surprise and excitement.
06[22:52] * Corinne nods excitedly, before opening the case and pulling out...Two large, rectangular objects wrapped in Newspaper and scotch tape.
06[22:54] * @Isabella loooks, before taking the bundle. "Oh my goodness, is this..." She begins to unwrap it right there!
[22:54] <Corinne> One is a box of chocolates, and the other is a new copy of the newest edition of Muks and Masterminds.
01[22:56] <@Isabella> "You-" She blushes a little bit and squeezes the book and box to her chest. "You're the only one who asked me what I wanted, you know... Back on my birthday, everyone got me great gifts, but they didn't actually come up and ask me about it... I was worried no one would actually show up for the party."
01[22:57] <@Isabella> "Thank you so much, Corinne... This means a lot to me that you'd go out of your way to get this."
06[22:57] * Corinne smiles. "I'm glad you like it, Isabella. I was hoping I didn't mess up and get the wrong thing by accident..."
06[22:58] * @Isabella hugs her with enthusiasm. "No, you did perfect!"

06[22:58] * Corinne returns Isabella's hug. "Y-Yeah, I hope they're good. I only got them in case you didn't like the book..."
01[22:59] <@Isabella> She tucks the book and box of chocolates into her purse. "Pft, I love sweets. That just makes the gift extra-sweet. Thanks, Corinne... now I feel bad for not getting you anything, though."

[23:00] <Corinne> "That's fine! Don't worry about it!" Corinne says, before smiling. "I'm just glad you like it. I'd like to try it out sometime with you, too."
01[23:00] <@Isabella> "Great! I'd like that, too. Now, let's go find a place to rent some ski equipment~"
06[23:02] * @Isabella heads further up the trail, looking for the proper place.
06[23:03] * Corinne hurries to find a rental place as well.
[23:03] <Mons> Pff that? It barely costs anything, summer is downtime here and most stuff is largely empty aside from a few people who... well, who knows while they're there. Glimpses inside the gym are hard to get at from the other slopes, granted.
[23:04] <Corinne> "Here, Bella. I'll pay for yours too, okay?" Corinne quickly says as she heads to one of the rental huts.

06[23:05] * @Isabella moves quickly behind, curious. Corinne really seems to be trying hard.

01[23:15] <Isabella_> "Alright, time to hit the slopes~ Think you can handle this? We'll find a beginner's slope first to practice on."
06[23:16] * Corinne nods. "I'm ready to try, at least."
06[23:18] * Isabella_ heads to the beginner's slope, and then... down she goes! White powder flying everywhere. She's not the most dextrous but she's clearly had a little practice.
01[23:21] <Isabella_> "Come on, Corinne!"
01[23:21] <Isabella_> She slows down a little bit.
06[23:22] * Corinne goes down, trying her best to imitate Isabella. Luckily, she's an athletic person, so she doesn't do too bad after a fall early on. The rest of the way down is pretty good!
01[23:23] <Isabella_> "See, you're getting the hang of this!" she aims for a small ramp, and makes a jump!
01[23:26] <Isabella_> "Hahahaaaaa!"
06[23:26] * Corinne tries the jump too!
06[23:27] * Corinne manages to do a respectable trick before landing.
01[23:28] <Isabella_> "Impressive!" She suddenly slows down quite a bit, letting Corinne catch up with her before matching speed again. She's grinning.
01[23:29] <Isabella_> She playfully skids a little, sending a small fluff of snow at Corinne!
06[23:32] * Corinne laughs and tries to do the same. But mostly, she just seems to be making a lot of little turns and trying out differant things to see if they work, trying to get used to skiing as rapidly as possible.
06[23:35] * Isabella_ pfffs as she gets a face full of snow, and laughs, enjoying Corinne's rapid progress. Adaptability is one of the things she admires, after all.
06[23:36] * Isabella_ speeds up, heading for one of the larger ramps at the end of the slope and makes a jump, spinning once before landing. Her body just isn't athletic enough for some of the more impressive tricks.
06[23:38] * Corinne follows suit, trying to do a more impressive trick, but barely managing it. "G-Gah! That was a close one!" She shouts, trying to catch back up.
06[23:39] * Isabella_ skiis to the bottom of the slope and skids to a halt, grinning.
01[23:39] <Isabella_> "Corinne, you were fucking amazing for a first timer!"
01[23:39] <Isabella_> "That's what I like to see, right there."
06[23:39] * Corinne quickly falls over as she tries to stop.
[23:39] <Corinne> "O-Oof...Thanks, Bella."
01[23:40] <Isabella_> "Ahaha... next, I'm teaching you how to put on the brakes properly."
06[23:40] * Isabella_ offers a hand to help her up.
[23:41] <Corinne> She takes the help up and catches her breath a bit.
01[23:41] <Isabella_> "Want to keep trying that slope for a bit, or move up to a harder one?"
[23:42] <Corinne> "Let's try a harder one. No sense in being a big fish in a small pond. It's better to be the biggest fish in the largest pond." Corinne says, applying her logic from years of Martial Arts to skiing.

06[23:43] * Isabella_ heads for the ski lift, smiling.
01[23:43] <Isabella_> (By the way, how cold IS it this time of year at Wispring?)
01[23:46] <Isabella_> (I mean, obviously cold enough for snow but)
[23:50] <Mons> Cold enough that coats and snowpants would come with the skis!
01[23:50] <Isabella_> (Blax, you wanna skip to the springs or fool around on the slopes in character more?)
[23:51] <Mons> No actual snowfall at the moment, but again, Gennis. Cloudy. Could come at any moment if you aren't USED to it

01[23:53] <Isabella_> After several hours of hitting the slopes and probably getting a few bruises here and there, Bella happily returns her skiis and begins looking for these famous hotsprings.

06[23:56] * Corinne nods. "That was a lot of fun. We should do that again sometime."
01[23:57] <Isabella_> "Yeah, definitely. Next time, we'll try the gym, too."

[00:00] <Mons> It isn't as much a lookign thing, as they're about halfway up between the slopes and the mountain. Pretty convenient, really... Most have some sort of entry fee or place set up, but there are plenty of "free" ones, some with Mankeys even.

06[00:03] * Isabella_ squints as she tries to figure out where they're headed.
06[00:03] * Corinne looks around too. Preferably for an expensive, fancy looking one.
06[00:03] * Isabella_ honestly wouldn't care if they dipped out in the open as long as no one else, mankeys included, were there.
01[00:07] <Isabella_> "I mostly just want privacy~ So.. hm, how about that one?" Seems she picked one with a relatively cheap entry fee and a privacy screen at least.

06[00:11] * Corinne nods after a moment. "Sure, that'll work."
06[00:15] * Isabella_ heads on over then, and once their fee's paid, she heads in, smuggling the box of chocolates along.
01[00:16] <Isabella_> Her clothing's discarded without much care, and she lowers herself into the warm, relaxing water.
01[00:16] <Isabella_> "Oh, this feels great! Come on in, Corinne."
06[00:17] * Corinne follows suit, undressing a bit nervously and quickly getting under the water.
06[00:19] * Isabella_ doesn't seem to have much modesty, at least around Corinne.
01[00:19] <Isabella_> "I want you to know I've really been enjoying myself today." she smiles.
[00:20] <Corinne> "H-Heh. I'm glad." Corinne says, smiling in return.

01[00:21] <Isabella_> "It feels like you're on edge or something..."
[00:21] <Corinne> "On edge? What do you mean? Am I doing something w-wrong...?" She asks, nervously.
01[00:22] <Isabella_> "No, you just seem nervous. Relax a bit! I won't enjoy myself as much if you're not having fun, too."
[00:23] <Corinne> "Sorry, I've just...I'm not very used to dates...This is better than the last one I went on, though..." Corinne admits. She scoots a bit closer to Isabella, taking a deep breath.
06[00:23] * Isabella_ moves a bit closer to Corinne, and reaches over the edge of the spring to bring the chocolates over.
01[00:24] <Isabella_> "Oh? I thought you hadn't gone on any before... What was it like?"
01[00:26] <Isabella_> She opens the box and sets it back on the side, taking one and popping it into her mouth, smiling.
[00:26] <Corinne> "Oh...There was a boy back in Okowa who asked me out on a date once. It was...kind of boring. He bought me a lot of stuff and paid for everything, but...I dunno" Corinne says, shrugging. "I...guess i'm kind of acting like that too huh?"

06[00:31] * Corinne quickly checks her mental list of things to do...After a moment, she scoots closer and puts her arm around Isabella's shoulders. "W-Well, I'm eager to help figure anything out, if you want..."
06[00:32] * Isabella_ scoots closer, smiling. "Alright then, let's see..." She leans a bit closer to Corinne, touches her lips a moment with her finger, and then leans in to kiss her.
06[00:35] * Corinne almost freezes up like when Ali tried to kiss her, but Corinne quickly regains her wits. After a moment of trying to remember some of the materials she read and watched to prepare for the date, she leans into the kiss and tries her best to return it.
06[00:36] * Isabella_ reaches up to play with the locks of Corinne's hair a bit, and carresses her cheek as she pulls away from it. "That was nice..." she says, smiling.

06[00:38] * Corinne takes a minute to catch her breath. "...W-Well, don't tell Ali, but it was a lot better than when he did it." she says, a grin growing to her face.

06[00:40] * Isabella_ picks out another chocolate, but instead of eating it, she brings it to Corinne's mouth instead.

[00:42] <Corinne> "Well, he kissed me once at random when we were at the cafe..."
06[00:44] * Isabella_ seems to have gotten fairly contemplative at this point.

06[00:50] * Corinne squeezes Isabella against her gently. "Well..." she says, about to spout some line taken from her old date, but then she sighs and takes a deep breath. "It's...hard to say, Isabella. You'd have to know a bit more about me to know what i'm trying to say, but...I want to try hard for you. When i think about you I just...You're so...g-guh..." she sputters to a halt, putting her face

You're strong, you're adaptive, you're attractive... but one thing I want to tell you is that I don't want to take advantage of our friendship by pressing you into a romantic relationship. If you're not comfortable with that, just tell me. It's okay."

06[01:03] * Corinne nods. After a moment, she says "Well...to tell the truth, I probably love you more than anyone I know, Bella. Not that that says a whole lot...I'm just not used to these kinds of things."

01[01:03] <Isabella_> "H-huh? But... what about your family?"

It's me who's made this more complicated than it needs to be, not you."

01[01:17] <Isabella_> "Actually, I'm the one who asked you out... it's still kind of all my fault, hahaha."
01[01:19] <Isabella_> "But still, I gotta know... DO you find me attractive?" She smiles a bit deviously.
06[01:20] * Corinne blushes slightly. "Well, u-uh...There's a reason i've been trying not to stare at you this whole time...I don't want to seem...y-you know."
01[01:23] <Isabella_> "There's no use in having a body like mine if it's not appreciated. You can look to your heart's content, if you wish, I don't mind. Just no touching - yet." She smiles.
06[01:24] * Corinne laughs nervously. "O-Okay." she says, finally looking up from the water to look at Isabella. "W-Well...What about me? Do you still think i'm...good looking?"
01[01:26] <Isabella_> "I've said as much several times already! You have a strong, athletic, but still very feminine body, I'm mostly just curves." she giggles and runs a hand down Corinne's arms. "You tie down your breasts, too, and it's a shame, looking now."

01[01:29] <Isabella_> "You're just about six feet tall and mostly muscle, anyone causing trouble just takes a look at you and says "Nope, fuck that, I'm too much of a pussy to mess with her", and gets out before you beat them to death with their own spines."

06[01:35] * Corinne takes a deep breath. What's she's about to admit is just about the number one thing she's not supposed to say, ever, but... "...I'm not here to train to become a gym leader." She says. "Well, I am, but not primarily..." she goes quiet for a moment. "...My dad's the leader of one of the largest Criminal Organizations in Okowa. I...I'm here to prepare for when I have to take over."

06[01:40] * Corinne nods. "Yeah. Nothing crazy like that. Most of what i've done is...intimidation, legbreaking, that sort of thing..." she looks a bit glum. "There's a reason no one's ever said they feel safe around me before."

06[01:44] * Corinne sighs. "I thought I was. But...I dunno. Oh well. I have lots of time to prepare."
01[01:44] <Isabella_> "Am... I making things difficult for you?"
[01:45] <Corinne> "No! It's nothing like that."
06[01:45] * Corinne doesn't mention that by the code she was raised by, Everything she's done with Isabella is pretty damn taboo.
01[01:45] <Isabella_> "Well... if you need my help with anything, let me know."
01[01:46] <Isabella_> "As long as it's not crazies trying to take over the world, I don't really mind that kind of thing, I guess? You can't really stop organized crime."
01[01:46] <Isabella_> "It's going to be a constant presence whether the authorities want it to be or not."
06[01:48] * Corinne nods. "Gah...I feel better now that all that stuff is off of my chest, but now i'm...should I feel bad for worrying about if you'll decide to keep dating me...?"
01[01:51] <Isabella_> "If I decide not to, it won't be because of anything you've said or done, don't worry. And we'd still be best friends, aside. I don't want to let you down, though, so I'm going to give it some serious thought."
06[01:54] * Corinne nods. "Well, alright. I'll trust you." Corinne says, before grinning a bit. "Anyway...back to something less serious...Would you like it if I stopped wearing my chest wrappings with some of my outfits? Now that you've gotten me started buying more clothes, I don't really need them as much anymore..."
01[01:55] <Isabella_> "Part of me really wants this... I want to find the person that's right for me. Somewhere in this world, there's someone like that. It might be you, it might be Beatrice, it might be someone across the world not even at this school. The point is I don't know, and I'm going to need a little time to figure this out. But in the meantime... thanks for everything, Corinne, especially today." she smiles, then blinks in surprise. "Hey, if that's okay with you. I mean, you obviously wrap yourself for a reason, you don't have to stop doing that just so I can ogle you or something."
[01:56] <Corinne> "Well...I'm not practicing all the time, and if it gives you something nice to look at..."
06[01:57] * Isabella_ blushes a little bit.
01[01:58] <Isabella_> "Haha... well... that still feels a little... well, you do what you want, Corinne, and I'm sure we'll both be happy."
06[02:00] * Corinne suddenly becomes kind of embarassed as well. "...G-Guh, I hope I didn't make you feel uncomfortable with that. Gah, why do I have to say stupid things so much..."
01[02:00] <Isabella_> "Quit being so depreciating of yourself and just enjoy." She suddenly leans up and kisses Corinne again, more firmly this time.
06[02:03] * Corinne is surprised by the suddeness, but she quickly responds, hugging Isabella closer as she kisses her.
06[02:04] * Isabella_ wraps her arms around her, and just remains there for a bit, letting it linger and enjoying the moment.
06[02:04] * Isabella_ pulls back after several moments, a bit out of breath and grinning again.
01[02:05] <Isabella_> "Listen, if that's what you want to do, go for it! I'm sorry, I should be more frank with you, there shouldn't be anything embarassing between us."
06[02:06] * Corinne nods, her face red. "Okay! I understand, i'll do my best to do the same."
06[02:07] * Isabella_ nods. "Always feel free to speak your mind to me."
06[02:09] * Isabella_ stretches and closes the box of chocolates. "Though, I think I'm getting a bit wrinkly. Even my breasts are starting to prune up." She cups her hands her chest a moment for emphasis. "You ready to head out, or did you want to spend more time together?"
