- **WHAT SUCKS
- slow, laggy
- windows often take 5s+ to close
- black screen for 60s+ on login
- crashes at least twice a week
- no WM buttons on dialogs
- notifications in general
- appears in high-traffic part of screen, no click-through
- on-click behavior disruptive
- don't stack
- no config whatsoever
- synaptic override, difficult to use for updates
- "just use the cinnamon one"
- no workspace grid, applet is half-baked
- xbacklight broken *not sure if mint- or trusty-rooted
- acpi_backlight fails
- the settings manager
- no kupfer integration
- even laggier than everything else
- no ctrl+alt+backspace
- rubbish support
- irc channel is either copypasta script or borderline hostile
- alt-tab across workspaces difficult to get working
- dconf:org/cinnamon/muffin/keybindings/switch-panels
- no --remove flag for add-apt-repository ?

- the mpris2 integration?
- written by some applet dev, pulled in and never updated
- applet system
- more customization than most modern DEs
- symbolic icons instead of normal svg/raster
- except for the updater icon, which is ofc displayed by default
- lockscreen w/ clock
- nemo file manager
- ppa:webupd8team/nemo
- hexchat installed by default
- have to fix autojoin
