  1. [18:21:10] Well, he'd been patient but he was doing absolutely nothing during this moment. It was something hated more than life itself. Okay, his hatred didn't and couldn't actually run that deep but he certainly knew that he was feeling something or another. The Drakanite looks around at this point, being well within the walls of the city known as Loranthis once more. He'd been wondering just what was going through Gavin's thick skull when they headed here.
  2.
  3. Of course. He hadn't really been invited or anything like that, he simply followed through and decided for his own self that he would be doing what the purple wearing person would be doing. Sad, huh? That he'd be willing to simply suffer through such a thing. That he'd be willing to impose his company on someone like that without even asking if it was okay.
  4.
  5. ''What are we even gonna do here?''
  6. (Samael)
  7. [18:28:00] Well, that was quite something, something to think about indeed, there was to be a lot on his brain as well. There was too much to think about when it came to such a matter, especially at his age, but this was something that he'd started and so he'd finish it.
  8.
  9. His sapphire hues drift over to another as they approach the area. The boy looked to be only a bit older than him if older than him at all. He was quite the odd one for Casiel had never seen him around these parts before. However, he wasn't alone, there was someone else with him, both of them new faces.
  10.
  11. Knowing who he was and his duty, Casiel stepped forward to the two boys. "Well, you look like some new people, I've never seen you here before." the youth had glimpsed Gavin before he pulled his cap down and the two of them seemed to stand out here given their attitude as if they hadn't been apart of the regular population.
  12. (Casiel Melym)
  13. [18:33:07] "Well, what do you think? We're going to do what we always do?" Play around and have fun. There'd be no need to do anything else but that. After all, it's the only thing he's seeking in this long journey. The extras were but something that'd have to be considered at a later time when given the opportunity, as someone approaches! Someone unfamiliar!
  14.
  15. "New, yeah! We are, actually. And I'm guessin' you're not right? Hmn?" Tilting his head up, the boy's grip would flow up towards the bill of his cap, the piece of headwear removed promptly so that his entire countenance was visible. "Why ya' askin'?" He murmurs, quirking a brow. He didn't actually expect to bump into anyone so soon, but it was nice to recieve an introduction.
  16.
  17. "I mean, if ya' don't mind answerin', after all." He adds quickly, unsure of whether or not the kids around here would be as quick to anger as the ones he normally interacted with. A bunch of ruffians, they were.
  18. (Gavin)
  19. [18:34:49] He shakes his head. He actually wasn't new to this place at all. He'd come here on his own a few times for no reason other than the curious nature that seemed to follow him everywhere. His eyes were honest and his mouth was very much of the same, so it'd almost landed him in trouble a few times but he managed to save himself just in the knick of time!
  20.
  21. Samael folds his arms across his chest when looking at this new person. Someone they had never met before speaking as if he knew them so seriously. Granted his words said everything but just that very assumption but he was not here to dissect things and figure out how what was said by who. The Drakanite shakes his head from side to side once more.
  22.
  23. ''You gotta answer. You don't gotta choice!''
  24. (Samael)
  25. [18:52:44] Well, the initial guy was pretty cool, he seemed to have manners and not want to be all baddest of the bad. Casiel didn't mind either way, he doubted there were many children that could beat him and that he'd meet those that did so often and so suddenly too for they seemed to have appeared out of thin air.
  26.
  27. "Nah, I'm not new, I've been staying here for quite some time, could even so I'm a part of the law around here. But I've never acted as a soldier before. But! I guess I am one, which is really why I'm asking. What brings you two here?" he'd inquire as he examined them both.
  28.
  29. They didn't seem too out of the ordinary, but this Gavin person had piqued Casiel's interested with the weapon he carried. A small smile appearing on the Melym's lips before he looked over to Gavin's companion, the more talkative one though? Casiel glanced over at him and simply shook his head.
  30.
  31. "In these lands, I don't have to do a thing you say."
  32. (Casiel Melym)
  33. [18:57:00] "Samael has a big head, so if you wanna smack it, go for it." He hums softly, a simple smile shown through the moment his drakanite friend goes off on a tangent. Yet, that rude behavior was something that certainly made him happier than most, for it'd have defintiely been a bit harder to roam about on his own without a companion of some sort. Even if... they were uninvited.
  34.
  35. "Hahaha... guess it can't be too long if you're as old as me." He chuckles, sure that there was probably no place they've stayed any longer than the next. They were kids after all. Nothing more than toddlers that simply happened to occupy the places they were in...
  36.
  37. "But yeah, lets get a long. I ain't lookin' for no trouble. Right?" The simple smile offered is nothing but one that hints at mischief, accented only by the undertone of his most deep agitations. Though, the afflictions of his impulsive demeanor hardly runs him now, as it had certainly eaten a great deal of his energy long before this meeting..
  38. (Gavin)
  39. [18:59:34] Gavin: Along.* )
  40. [19:06:24] Interesting enough, he figures that some how this person was going to be like that. So far everyone has had either a really strong personality or they just kind of fold over and let them do what they wanna do. That being the case, he's quite aware that people would sooner allow them free reign than to stand against them. However, this one was different, huh? He felt almost impressed.
  41.
  42. As impressed as a six year old could be of course. His eyes narrow and he turns his sights onto the loud mouth known as Gavin, the one to always try and bring him back down to Valmasia with a comment or two, usually borderline on the insulting side. He hated it, sometimes. And others he didn't give a single care in the world. He sighs and turns to the new person. He doesn't remember if he gave his name or not, but that wasn't important.
  43.
  44. ''You do If I say you do, chump!'' He decides. not caring really at all that Gavin was trying to get along happy and perfect. He simply wasn't in the mood to try and be all buddy buddy. ''But, If you don't wanna be a chump, sure. We can be friends.''
  45.
  46. Oh.
  47.
  48. ''And Gavin's an idiot.''
  49. (Samael)
  50.
  51. (Fell asleep, so this is the next day.)
  52.
  53. [08:01:13] There was too much going on in Casiel's mind right now, constant waves of disappointment and something akin to depression battered against him. Emotionally and physically he felt exhausted, but there was no better way to fix that than by getting stronger, or in other words.
  54.
  55. Progress.
  56.
  57. Yes, he wanted to progress to rise above all else but he couldn't do something like that by just saying it. He had to be about it, but there were too many distractions in the city and all he'd be doing was potentially wasting time. Still, he hadn't seen quite a number of people in a while.
  58.
  59. Naphtali for perhaps nine months now and Nyx? He almost forgot about her very existence. Sighing, Casiel readied himself mentally before leaving the city of Loranthis. Only to make his way towards the Wychwood, but even there seemed overpopulated so he headed more south, but away from Brighthold.
  60.
  61. Once there, he'd just keep walking until he felt he was a decent distance. This was of course the case only when he tripped over some vines and foliage. "What the hell.." Casiel groaned as he slowly rose to his feet only to realize he was no longer shrouded by forestry, but was in a clearing.
  62.
  63. Almost as if it was being hidden. "Where the heck am I?" he'd mutter to himself whilst looking around. Little did he know this was the lair of a hidden creature.
  64. (Casiel Melym)
  65. [08:11:28] After another long night of hunting prey, Sebek had gone to sleep later than usual. The yokai before now had managed to keep a routine that allowed him to hunt the rabbits when they had just woken up, meaning that they were slow and easy pickings, not that he needed such an advantage these days. However today of all days, sleeping in had called forth unfavourable circumstances.
  66.
  67. As the bushes near the yokai's small home began to rustle, it quickly alerted the creature to a presence nearby. With claws outstretched and his body prone, Sebek slunk down on all fours, sliding across the earth and moving to blend in with a nearby pile of bushes. After waiting only a few moments, his eyes would be met with the sight of a human, and a rather small one at that. It seemed as though the boy was lost, and fortunately enough, suffered from the same clumsy nature that Sebek had.
  68.
  69. As the boy tripped and attempted to return to his feet, Sebek would employ his first and best surprise attack. Springing forth to meet the boy while his guard was down, he'd emit a high pitched screech, hoping to daze the youngster. Once he'd landed on his feet, he'd hold his hands high, revealing his form from underneath the mess of plants and bones. Sebek stood at average height, with purple scaley skin and a fish like head with what seemed to be gills adourning his sides.
  70. (Sebek)
  71. [08:23:24] Perhaps if this were some ordinary child then it would've worked, but this was Casiel. The boy had practically spent most of his time so far grown and groomed by the barren tundra. The frozen mountains of Dragon's Peak was where the child received his skills and training.
  72.
  73. The young Melym looked over at the lesser yokai and shook his head. "Oh, it's just a yokai. Wow, you're pretty ugly." though with the yokai's stance, it implied that it wanted to threaten the boy. "Bah.." he'd carelessly swing his hand, winds that were compareable to that of an explosion erupted out from Casiel.
  74.
  75. The yokai was in the direction he waved in and thus the wind was aimed in that direction. Casiel didn't find yokais as any threat, especially one that was at the lesser stage. But Naphtali had a pet yokai, if he had one too, would he be cool?
  76.
  77. That's when it hit him, those people in the Grove had yokai companions as well. That meant that if he could get some of his own, his group would become even stronger. Well.. Eventually, because this yokai was currently far too fodder to provide any use at all.
  78.
  79. Now how to go about getting it's co-operation?
  80.
  81. "Hm.."
  82. (Casiel Melym)
  83. [08:35:21] The sudden burst of winds from the mere motion of the boy's hands was definitely startling to the yokai. Sebek had never experienced such a thing, but the yokai didn't require a wealth of experience to understand the difference between this human and the other one's he'd encountered. Sebek's blue slitted eyes emerged from the thick layers of skin that covered his eyelids.
  84.
  85. Then he took note of the boy's stature. In one word, he was unique. No other human had come close to looking quite like he did, and they never once displayed any kind of ability like manipulating the weather around himself, humans were truly frightening creatures, it was wise of the youngling to avoid them...until now. However now, Sebek was pressed with a rather difficult decision, it was quite obvious this human did not flinch at his attempt, and now he was left with few options.
  86.
  87. The winds produce by the boy's simple wave were truly frightening, managing to push the yokai's back a slight distance, enough so for it to be worrying. As the monster's eyes continued to roam the area, he could find no avenue for escape, and realized it's life depended on what it did now, so with no further hesitation, the fish like monster's hand dove down at the ground, scooping up a large clump of dirt. In the same motion, the yokai's body tumbled to the side, allowing him to spin in mid air and toss the clump at the boy, as he now made his way deeper into the forest, hoping that was enough to throw him off.
  88. (Sebek)
  89. [08:37:55] Casiel Melym: (Reading)
  90. [08:43:53] Indeed, Casiel was different from most children, his strength impressive for his age as there was no-one that could compete with him in that regard. That is, until Elias and Zurie showed up, these two kids he hadn't seen before up until recently. They held power that he himself found ridiculous and coming from the Melym child who had an undefeatable streak for two years was something.
  91.
  92. Casiel turned towards the little yokai, the creature seemed to be keen on saving it's hide, fight or flight would have activated within it had it any adrenaline glands. But with desperate times called for desperate measures and the yokai scooped up a clump of dirt.
  93.
  94. Casiel could already guess what it was about to do. Of course, it threw the dirt at him as a distraction, but after witnessing his magic, that was a dumb move. Casiel waved his hand in a nonchalant manner, a gust blowing the dirt to the side before yet another one of his magics was revealed.
  95.
  96. His hand outstretched in the direction Sebek was fleeing. The air itself seemed to crystallize as small sparkles began to appear as if it were some kind of beauty show. But the sparkles soon began to merge together and form into a rather large wall of ice.
  97.
  98. "Where are you running off to?"
  99. (Casiel Melym)
  100. [08:54:08] Foiled yet again. It seemed that the yokai's story would soon come to an end. It was now more painfully obvious than before that he was outclassed on all fronts of combat and evasion, truly standing no chance against the might of this six year old human. There was nothing left to do, nothing but to wait for his fate to be decided. It was a cruel thing toying with a man before death, yokai were no different, atleast, ones like Sebek.
  101.
  102. The creature raised a nail to tap against the ice wall that had suddenly formed infront of him, amazed by how solid it was and how effortlessly it seemed to form. Sebek had never seen a material like this before, and even though his life was on the line, he couldn't help but be fascinated by the conjuration that blocked his path to freedom. Scraping along it's side, Sebek continued to examine the ice wall, noting how sturdy it was despite being so thin at the same time.
  103.
  104. Upon further inspection, Sebek had lost himself, now able to see his own reflection! Something he'd never had a chance to inspect before. The yokai was a bit...disappointed with it's appearance, he could've swored that he looked even a bit more menacing than the sorry display that he really was. It made sense that so many creatures had thought themselves able to fend him off, he...was a joke...
  105. (Sebek)
  106. [08:56:41] Casiel Melym: (Reading)
  107. [09:03:31] Staring at this rather crude looking yokai, he couldn't help but feel some pity in his heart for it. It tried so hard to flee only for it's best efforts to be dashed by one he had thought to be prey. Perhaps if it had been some other unfortunate human child things would've went differently.
  108.
  109. The pale lad lifted his hand and turned his palm to face the sky, his fingers flexed in towards him. Immediately, wind began to pick up and push against Sebek's form, attempting to force the yokai towards the child. If it was successful and the creature was indeed flung back, then Casiel would waste no time in getting it to submit to him.
  110.
  111. Once it was flung towards him, he'd extend his hand and grab the yokai's head from behind. With his digits firmly gripping it's skull, he'd switch the direction of Sebek from horizontal to vertical. Smashing it into the ground face first, once he'd established dominance he'd fold his arms over his chest.
  112.
  113. "You will be mine, got that?"
  114.
  115. The tyrannical approach was always the best no?
  116. (Casiel Melym)
  117. [09:12:54] It seems as though things could get worse from here, not that the yokai had expected to be released simply because the boy felt sorry for him. Sebek would have never done something so tame, so he expected nothing less of a boy who wandered around the home of a yokai so carefree. With the winds picking up, Sebek's fascination with the ice would have to be put on hold, as his form was dragged away from the large mirror like barricade and brought within the grasp of the young child.
  118.
  119. The firm hand placed against his head was not welcomed, but despite his best snarls and his attempted thrashing, he couldn't quite break free of the hold that the boy now used to trap him. He couldn't begin to imagine what the youth had in store for his purple skinned hide, but soon enough he'd get a taste...of the ground. Within the next moment, Sebek felt his orientation completely shift, and his head colliding painfully with the ground beneath him.
  120.
  121. The yokai's head had little bone within it, so the noise that broke from the brutal act of dominance was more of a squelching rather than a crunching noise. A mix of goo and blood dripped from the creature's swollen maw, but with hands still free he'd swing, aiming to atleast gouge an eye out from the boy. Sure he stood no chance, but he had to get a hit in, or he'd never live down this pitiful display
  122. (Sebek)
  123. [09:20:35] Yes, the feeling of conquering another being was vastly greater than the feeling of being thrashed thoroughly. Which is exactly what he felt thanks to Zurie, that annoying older Neries, he'd give to her what was coming, which was why he needed more strength, but beating this yokai would prove nothing.
  124.
  125. Casiel sighed, paying no attention to the consistent struggle put up by the yokai. Did it not understand the lesson he was trying to bring across to it? He was the superior and the yokai was the lesser, the child may not have spoken it out but he showed it through his actions.
  126.
  127. The fish-like yokai seemed to like to rebel against higher beings, thus Casiel sought to fix that. Water seeped from his palm and travelled along the yokai's body, only to soon after drop rapidly in temperature. The liquid freezing the yokai into place as Casiel stepped back.
  128.
  129. The ice had connected to the grass beneath, so now he was connected to the ground.
  130.
  131. "You're mine. Got it?"
  132. (Casiel Melym)
  133. [09:29:07] After every act of resistance, it seemed as though the yokai was smacked down a peg in some way or another. Despite all the pain that it continued to suffer throughout it's ordeal with the young magic wielding lad, Sebek couldn't help but be level headed, wanting to find the quickest way to escape this situation. But try as he might, all hope was bleak for the newborn yokai, and before he could even try another attack, an unnatural cold swiftly came over him.
  134.
  135. As his body slowly began to freeze in place, Sebek had now experienced what it was like to freeze. It was such a foreign feeling to the novice hunter. The pain was like nothing he'd felt before, it wasn't something he could show anguish over, it was simply...absolute, an unwavering power that he had been confronted with that now swallowed his body whole, pinning him to the earth below him. Now unable to move, the boy would say something to the yokai once more.
  136.
  137. Being unable to understand, it seemed like Sebek would have to give in to the boy's demands, whatever they might, so for now, the battered yokai refrained from putting up much more of a fight, remaining passive and awaiting further punishment from the boy. If he was going to escape this, he had to bide his time, even if that meant suffering more at the hands of a child.
  138. (Sebek)
  139. [09:32:32] Great! This was much better, though the yokai squirmed and squirmed, squirm as he might, he wasn't going to break loose out of the trap Casiel set for him. The young Melym didn't know much, but what he did know, was that yokais evolved when they reached a certain stage of power!
  140.
  141. Thus!
  142.
  143. Until this yokai had achieved a certain power level, he'd remain in this stage of his evolution, meaning he may not be as weak as a newborn yokai, but he wasn't strong enough to evolve. Noting this, Casiel knew he wouldn't have to place much effort in subduing such a creature.
  144.
  145. Now that the struggle had ceased, Casiel could move on to the next stage of making the creature his. He'd walk away from where he was observing the yokai suffer, that's right. He just left him there, because he had his own plans, he'd go ahead and use what he learned in the mountains.
  146.
  147. Right now? He was going to hunt.
  148. (Casiel Melym)
  149. [09:41:55] Now that he'd finally submitted to whatever this child had in mind, Sebek could only prepare for the worst. It went without saying that the creature was repulsed by the idea of being being beaten by a creature like this, one who was so full of himself and believed he could crush all that opposed him like the dirt under his feet. The yokai would kiss his teeth if he had any, but for now, all he could do was wait and watch.
  150.
  151. Soon enough, the boy would begin to walk away from their little showdown, almost as though he was really going to leave Sebek stuck in the in ice unable to remove himself. The yokai's head nudged forward, low growls calling for the boy to return and release him, but they would probably come off as nothing more than the cries of a weakened beast. Stuck like this, it seemed as though the white haired captor had left him to die encased in a block of freezing ice.
  152.
  153. There was little Sebek could do to rectifiy his situation, he was unable to move any of his limbs, and his neck wasn't long enough for him to even try and pick at the magical ice that surrounded him. Was he really going to die here? Starving right next to his bed hole, the one he'd finally managed to dig out to fit his growing shape?
  154. (Sebek)
  155. [09:47:53] Good, good, the yokai was learning it's place, now that it had been captured, it started to call out for freedom. But such pleas would only fall on deaf ears as the child went on his merry way into the woods to begin his hunt. There was glee in his eyes when he thought about the fact that he'd have his own yokai pet/follower.
  156.
  157. The child swiftly entered the nearby forestry with keen sapphire eyes on the lookout for possible prey. And thus, he would indeed find it, a small unsuspecting yokai, not much bigger than the original yokai but missing one of his arms. "Ugh, perfect for food!"
  158.
  159. Exclaiming his intentions, the yokai turned around to witness where the sound came from. All he saw were intense sapphire orbs and a harmful grin heading it's way. The yokai quickly turned to flee, but it was too late, ice already formed on it's feet, 'chaining' it to the ground.
  160.
  161. "Haha!"
  162.
  163. Casiel laughed as he'd close in rapidly on the creature, a single leap forward would be the gap closer. Ice materializing over his right hand, sharpened to the very tip. The next thing to be heard was a disgusting squelching noise as violet ichor splashed upwards.
  164. (Casiel Melym)
  165. [09:57:16] Being left suspended within the ice wall was bad in itself, but the idea that Sebek could die up here, after finally finding some footing in the world was almost too much for the yokai to swallow at once. The beast groaned loudly, bellowing out hoping that someone who hear and save him...save him? Who would save him? He was a yokai, he had no other yokai that he knew and he was only a nuisance to most humans. His life was here and now, at the mercy of a toddler.
  166.
  167. That being said, as contemplation continued to strike fear into the yokai's future prospects, his nose flared, and he quickly noted the scent of fresh blood breaking skin. There had been an attack, and it was rather closeby. As the scent wafted through the air, it was followed by a horrendous squelch that sounded more like a splat that anything.
  168.
  169. Sebek was now confused more than anything as to what the boy had planned. First he captured the yokai, then he walked off, making him think he'd been left behind, then finally, he attacks and kills another yokai. It was all such a complicated mix of events, but it was atleast clear that Casiel would return, so Sebek needed only to wait.
  170. (Sebek)
  171. [10:05:48] Casiel was uaware if the yokai he had left behind could hear or smell or sense the other yokai being killed. He didn't know if they had some kind of weird telepathic connection amongst one another when they were this low level, but then again, he'd see the imperfect be more sympathetic if that was the case no?
  172.
  173. But still, it didn't really matter unless it drew a kaor here, so that was fine. Casiel returned with his hand covered in violet ichor, he wondered if the yokai got away or not. Of course that was just a bit of humour for himself as he headed back through the bleaky forest.
  174.
  175. Once he arrived at the opening, he'd see the yokai still ensnared within his little ice prison. A grin surfaced on the boy's face as he closed in on Sebek. Dropping the de-limbed lesser a few feet away from Sebek, Casiel himself sat down beside the pile of meat.
  176.
  177. He'd look towards the yokai that was a few feet away with the same jeering grin. "I can bet you want a taste, you yokai are famous for eating your own people."
  178. (Casiel Melym)
  179. [10:13:29] So that was his game. The magical child sought to ensare Sebek's will by tempting his more primal side. Unfortunately for the yokai, that was all he was, a primal side. It wouldn't take more than this to have the creature submit, despite it's protests, there was very little it could turn down, and a fresh meal of yokai was definitely not on the list. The depraved fish-kai struggled more violently than before, almost trying to lunge forward and devour the corpse before him.
  180.
  181. The smell of blood made the served meal even more tantaliziing than he could ever dream, and it seem as though all he had to do was whatever the boy wanted, that didn't seem like too bad a bargain at all. With Sebek's longer than average tongue outstretching, the tentacle like limb extended from his mouth, lapping up the blood and chunks that fell off the fallen yokai. It's strength, slowly becoming his as he continued to lick the body.
  182.
  183. All the while it seemed as though what Casiel wanted was to break the monster down, but Sebek had very little will to break, so it didn't take long for the monster's weakness to be discovered, and his already deplorable state being reduced to a shattered image of what he atleast pretended to be.
  184. (Sebek)
  185. [10:19:28] "Ah-ah-ah."
  186.
  187. Casiel wagged his finger in a reprimanding way as thin wind was generated atop his index finger, the said finger curling against his thumb before flicking outwards. The condensed thin wind moved swiftly and glided along the elongated tongue of the yokai.
  188.
  189. If it did indeed make contact with the muscle, a gash would appear on where the thin wind had passed over. A punishment suitable enough for the creature, after all, Casiel was fair enough not to be too harsh from the beginning. But before he would continue, he'd have to explain and train this yokai first.
  190.
  191. "Okay, so. You do not eat unless I tell you that you can eat." whilst he spoke, he'd gesture towards the meat on the floor and wag his finger again. Gesturing towards himself and then Sebek and then the meat, he'd nod and give the yokai a thumbs up and a smile.
  192.
  193. That way, he'd try and portray obedience through his gesticulations.
  194. (Casiel Melym)
  195. [10:28:51] Sebek nodded wildy, no longer able to contain himself, and more than willing to follow the demands of the small child, so long as it would lead to his next meal. The yokai was simple like that, despite everything he had learned, he was still vulnerable to the sides of him that helped him survive, and there was little he could do to repress the urge to consume at all costs.
  196.
  197. Sebek's extended tonue would feel the cool breeze travel along it's length, only making for a more pleasurable experience. But the yokai wouldn't be fooled, remembering that the boy employed winds to enact his punishments. Not being a stranger to these deceptive tactics, Sebek reeled his tongue back into his mouth, just before the wind could harm it. The muscle was abnormally sensitive so he was just able to avoid a painful and life threatening incident.
  198.
  199. Looking over at Casiel, Sebek would wait, managing to hide the hunger he felt underneath a rather cold exterior. The yokai could only keep this up for so long, but he could only hope that it would be enough for him to gain the boy's trust so that he could finally get a taste of the kin that he had laid before him.
  200. (Sebek)
  201. [10:32:16] The flickered wind had missed, narrowly evaded at the last minute by instincts kicking in over hunger. Casiel smiled, it seemed progress was something to be made today, thus he'd move onto the next step. Snapping his fingers, he'd release the ice that had held the yokai into place.
  202.
  203. However, Casiel held his palm up towards Sebek commanding him to stop with his movements. If Sebek did indeed listen, Casiel would stand up from where he was seated and observing the yokai. Moving away painfully slowly, just to tease the creature, his icy hues kept watch on him.
  204.
  205. Casiel would then stand a reasonable distance away and snap his fingers while gesturing to the yokai on the floor. Only then would Sebek be allowed to it. Had he moved before receiving permission, icy shackles would rise to hold him into place to receive more punishment.
  206. (Casiel Melym)
  207. [10:39:56] As the ice casing melted around him, Sebek fell to the ground, his face now at eye level with the meal he was given. However a hand would extend from the Melym's form, obviously seeking to halt the meal that Sebek had become rather desperate for. The beast had prepared itself to push through the boy and take what was his, but then a small shot of reason interrupted that foolish thought, and the yokai would now wait, his mouth watering considerably.
  208.
  209. The obedience the fish-kai displayed would soon be rewarded, as the young boy moved back, albeit slowly, to allow the yokai to ravage the corpse. Once he'd been given the thumbs up, Sebek dove in, ripping and snarling as he massacred the remains of a once alive depraved monster. The damage that he'd suffered earlier had now been healed, and his seemingly bottomless hunger was slowly being sated.
  210.
  211. Claw strikes from Sebek did well to dice up the flesh of the other yokai, and with each bite, strength overflowed within the monster, placing the yokai at the edge of it's power spike and causing it to scream out, a cry so blood curdling that it even surprised Sebek with how ruthless and animalistic he was becoming.
  212. (Sebek)
  213. [10:47:37] Casiel was utterly pleased with himself and Sebek, he was actually doing it! He was training his yokai pet! With this new success, there was no way he didn't retrieve some of the confidence required to push past his current limits and gain enough power to crush Zurie in the future.
  214.
  215. With such a boundless potential dormant within his bloodline, which apparently skipped his father, he'd have to become great. There were so many things he hoped to achieve, all in due time, how could he not with what he was told about his family and all and how strong he had become in such a short time.
  216.
  217. His confidence was growing thanks to this little yokai here. Casiel grinned as he stared down the creature who had been indulging itself, giving in to it's animalistic urges. Casiel could only shake his head but by no means was he disappointed, for if he kept doing this, his pet would grow to astounding levels.
  218.
  219. Not only would he be hopefully loyal, but he'd be strong too, only when this yokai reached a level that was satisfiable to himself would he move forward with his plans. After all, he'd need strong members in order to move forward with his plans with less worry on his plate.
  220.
  221. Still, the wide grin couldn't be wiped off his face though he was forced to be patient. A sigh of relief escaped his lips, he was worried he might've been doing something wrong, but it turns out everything was executed perfectly. He'd watch the yokai continue to feast and only when it was finished would he speak up.
  222. (Casiel Melym)
  223. [10:56:09] Once he'd finished his meal, Sebek was now completetly satisfied. Blood covered every inch of the yokai's body, even soaking deep under his scales, which had now become several difficult colors thanks to the interaction with the red from the blood. Now slumped over, leaning against a tree, he simply waited to see what the boy would do next. Sebak's blue slits continue to examine the boy's form, noting the cheeky expression he wore as a grin.
  224.
  225. It was a shame that the captured yokai couldn't wipe it right off his face, but he'd been bested, and many yokai greater than him had fallen to the humans in one way or another, so perhaps it was meant to be. For now Sebek would remain docile, only showing interest when allowed by Casiel. The yokai figured it was doing it off it's own free will, but with how clouded it's mind had become, there was a change, something deeper inside him had given in.
  226.
  227. The yokai stood, walking over to the river only a few feet away, and began to splash the blood off it's form, ensuring to get the stench off him so as not to be detected by other members of his kin.
  228. (Sebek)
  229. [11:00:25] "Finally you're finished. I guess you're satisfied now that you've got your 'freedom' back and that you've been fed. But this is only the beginning! Now that you're mine, you will fight for me and will stay with me no matter what happens. I've captured you so that how it works, at least I think so.."
  230.
  231. He'd place his indec finger on his chin as he looked up to the sky and pondered. He was trying to do his own thing based off of how Nahele did hers when she captured slaves, he could only hope he was doing it right. Of course, Naphtali's yokai was paralyzed, but he had a feeling her's was still stronger than his.
  232.
  233. He couldn't have that, so he'd have to continue training not only himself but the yokai as well. What a bothersome thing though to be honest, since the yokai was already so weak, he'd have to train him from scratch. But it was better, because now whilst it was most primitive, he could establish firm dominance and loyalty within the creature.
  234.
  235. "Hmm.. What to do now? Maybe head to Dragon's Peak again? Whaddya think pet?"
  236. (Casiel Melym)
  237. [11:04:41] Casiel Melym: (Index*)
  238. [11:08:57] There he went again, using his words as though Sebek could understand him. It seemed that the child hadn't quite grasped the concept of yokais yet, but with no way to explain it or even understand it himself, Sebek would wimply shrug, much too annoyed to even begin to quarrel with Casiel. The yokai was about ready to leave his home in the Wychwood anyway, so he was fine doing whatever the boy required in exchange for not being pummeled into the ground.
  239.
  240. The yokai would begin to give the child a series of complicated and non sensical gestures, all the while hoping to convery that he didn't care where they went, he just didn't want to be almost killed again. If the attempt to communicat was fruitful, then Sebek would follow Casiel where he went with little resistance, perhaps the occasional growl from time to time.
  241.
  242. If that wasn't sutiable enough, then the yokai would stand, staring blankly at the human to make a move of any kind so that he could more appropriately react.
  243. (Sebek)
  244. [11:14:04] "Oh right.. You guys can't talk, man you need to hurry up and get bigger so we can talk. Being weak and small is lame.." he'd sound like he'd been talking from experience. Not only the experiences he had when he had just entered Dragon's Peak with the predators lurking all about.
  245.
  246. But also! The experiences he had with Zurie bullying him constantly, he didn't like it not. One. Bit. Of course this was why he was going to train harder than he'd ever trained before in hopes of defeating the Neries antagonist and proclaim himself as hero of his bloodline.
  247.
  248. Because, apparently, his father couldn't live up to such expectations and proved even less fruitful than his son. Summarizing what Zurie said to him basically, which meant Casiel was already stronger than his father? Even though the lad was disappointed he found it hardpressed to believe something like that.
  249.
  250. But.. Did Zurie really have any reason to lie after already defeating him? He'd know all that in due time, but he had to prepare for the more important things like the battle in the Bygone Grove that was to come and also the tournament that Queen Nahele had announced.
  251.
  252. With that said, Casiel made up his mind after considering it all. "C'mon pet, we're going to Dragon's Peak to train! I haven't been there in a long while too.." he'd sound even a bit..
  253.
  254. Nostalgic?
  255. (Casiel Melym)
  256. [11:17:29] It seemed that the scene was getting more intense as the crowd grew rather quick.
  257.
  258. Standing back as he held his ground. Deo wouldn't respond to anything unless it directly bothered him. His conversation with the other Sarradian was cut off with her since Shinra came into the picture.
  259.
  260. Another creature came into the frey, speaking on the manner and giving its input on the situation. Which Deo just stared at him.
  261.
  262. "Whether its right to kill lessers for no other reason for them being what they are. Then trying to just themselves on the matter that it is survival." he responded to its question.
  263.
  264. Only later would Owl give his very own input before long.
  265.
  266. The cat seemed to bring someone along with it as she seemed to be quite excited. Which Deo couldn't understand but hey!
  267.
  268. ". . . ." Deo didn't like the fact that everyone thinks that he had also killed Griuntherche. But his last encounter with Daran had proved it was him. The same aged teen told him straight up that if Shinra would've challeneged the creature on her own. She would've died. Aswell with everyone else. He remembered Daran telling him that it was really Deo who had killed the fire giant. But Deo didn't want to believe that. . . He was and is always against killing. He puts it as he subdued the fire giant alongside Shinra, who devoured the Infernus in the end. . . . That was the tale that Deo liked to stick with.
  269.
  270. Shaking his head, he came out of his thoughts as he nodded his head towards Aziza. "Shinra's a Kaor now, and that's her answer. Do you see what I was talking about?" he stated firmly
  271.
  272. (Deo Hajara)
  273. [11:18:20] Vindictus whispers something.
  274. [11:20:03] Vindictus whispers something.
  275. [11:22:36] Sebek once again nodded, his attention now placed upon the scenery as the two of the made their way to Dragon's peak. The memories the small hunter had gained from this forest had done him well, he had learnt quite a bit, and was now able to survive on his own. Sure a child of immense power came and interrupted his lifestyle, but it was better this way in a sense, atleast now, he could learn new things about other places, even learning the weaknesses of humans along the way.
  276.
  277. Everything seemed so distant now that he was leaving, the trees felt further away and much larger as well. And the animals that hopped around were truly different from before, nearly unrecognizable. A pained glance made it's way over to Casiel, the child had done well to call forth Sebek's ire, but it was like that with all who bothered the yokai, so it wasn't as big a deal as he would let on.
  278.
  279. For now he simply followed close behind, hoping not to get lost in the new area of the forest, even he hadn't traversed all of it's areas. As they continued up north, Sebek noticed a chill within the air, but after experiencing the young Melym's ice magic first-hand, he cared little about freezing his scales off in the snow.
  280. (Sebek)
  281. [11:27:44] The decision had finally been made, it seemed like the duo of human and yokai would be heading up to Dragon's Peak in order to further themselves in strength. But upon their travels, Casiel would suddenly stop, looking dead ahead, he'd notice a little tussle going on in the midst of the Wychwoods.
  282.
  283. The young Melym immediately took up a position amongst the forestry and gesturing for Sebek to come with him. "C'mere Sebek. You're gonna look like that someday." he'd state whilst pointing at the Kaor yokai known as Shinra. Hopefully the little Melym wouldn't be noticed by the small gathering, but if he was, he wasn't too worried.
  284.
  285. However, as the child continued to observe the situation and eavesdrop amongst some bushes, he'd realize that they were yet to fight but the Kaor had already revealed it's malicious aura. This was becoming more and more interesting the longer he stuck around for.
  286.
  287. Hopefully the scene would explode in anarchy and chaos and Casiel would get to watch, he loved to watch events like that unfold. A similar cat picked up within his vision as well as Harley, whom, when he saw them, his face lit up with glee. After all, she was his friend and someone that he enjoyed spending time with!
  288.
  289. Popping up from behind the shrubbery, he'd wave his hands to gain Harley's attention hopefully. If he did gain her attention, he'd wave at her whilst mouthing the words:
  290.
  291. "Hi!"
  292. (Casiel Melym)
  293. [11:35:24] Aziza would smile as he only acknowledge the answer of one yokai a yokai he had befriended. The ways of the stubborn. Though she wouldn't trip over it. She would nod. "Don't disregaurd what this other yokai said cause you're friend agrees with you. And Shinra is a hyperacrite. It they have eaten enough to become a Kaor thats damn well beyond enough to survive. Be honest Shinra you could spare any yokai here and remain to a lesser but you have killed and grown beyond the majority of your kind to nearly the prime of what your species can be thats not survival and you know that too Shinra. Tell me how many yokai did he consume to become a KAor? but you make excuses for him. I use yokai horns to make medicine that can heal occult users . Though you have helped him kill another yokai with just as much reason to live as he oh nut I'm the murdurer?"
  294.
  295. " I'm getting the idea that everything you've said about me applies to you. If I had another solution I wouldn't have been here to kill this yokai. Though in all honestly a kaor saying he kills for survival is like an obeast man telling a starving hunter he eats so he doesn't starve and he shouldn't kill cause that animal is innocent. You have the blood of a yokai on your own hands." She said pulling out the yokai horn from her bag. She held it up for everyone to see. " And what yokai would reasonably give up their horns and not want revenge?" She said as slowly put the bloody horn back in her bag. She would sigh and grin again. "Now I need to be taking this horn to the raident dawn."
  296. (Aziza Malakia)[11:43:05] A detour? Odd. The gathering of people was rather unexpected, but it seemed as though this area of the forest was far more crowded than Sebek's hideout. The two stood within some bushes nearby, taking in the scene as a small side event to their main adventure. Standing a few feet away, was a towering figure that oozed depravity and power. Once again Casiel would look over at Sebek and begin to speak, but the yokai was far more entranced by the kaor that was in his presence.
  297.
  298. The power it exuded was immense, which lead Sebek to long for such strength, but instead of mindlessly attacking the large creature, he instinctively knew his place, not daring to go too close to such a monster, simply remaining quiet and close to Casiel, hoping to use the boy as a shield if things went south here.
  299.
  300. However the young yokai's plans of remaining lowkey within the highly tense area were almost made futile, as Casiel had emerged from their hiding spot and begun to wave over at one of the members of this little gathering. Seb's hand shot forward, tugging at Casiel, hoping the sudden panic from the creature would indicate to act more cautiously around such a threat, but he knew full well the boy was only concerned about his own wants.
  301. (Sebek)
  302. [11:49:04] "Aw dang it.. It looks like she can't see me.."
  303.
  304. He'd have to admit that he didn't get the girl to see him this time, perhaps because she was too engrossed in what was going on. Shaking his head in disappointment that senpai hadn't noticed him, he'd instead rise from where he had been crouching and waving.
  305.
  306. Glaring daggers at Sebek for trying to tug him away from his friend. Casiel didn't see Shinra the same way he did, so he didn't understand the instinctive fear that Shinra enforced on the lesser unintentionally. Still, the large amount of people here was a bit unsettling, so he'd soon enough agree and aim to leave the scene.
  307.
  308. Turning towards the North, he'd grab the lesser yokai by the back of it's neck and a surge of mana would wash over the little Melym's body. A single thrust to the floor with his foot and he darted off, moving swiftly through the shrubbery towards the mountains.
  309.
  310. That is, unless someone stopped him.
  311. (Casiel Melym)
  312. [11:53:20] "Wow.. Dragon's Peak.. It's been so long but you haven't changed at all! This is where I first trained and got stronger pet. By the way, I should probably get a name for you.. Hmm.. But what's a good name?" he'd cup his chin within the space between his index finger and thumb.
  313.
  314. After a bit of contemplation he'd come to the conclusion. "How aboouuttt.. Xan-thos? Xa-na-thos?" he'd like the sound of those two and issue it to the yokai to give his input on the names. Hopefully he wouldn't be all sour about it and come with something like 'it already has a name'.
  315.
  316. Because then that would suck. I mean, which yokai has a name besides what someone once gave to them? Obviously none, thus, he'd hope that the names he came up with were satisfying for a yokai of his stature. Or at least the stature Casiel pictured him to achieve.
  317.
  318. A small smile etching itself onto his lips.
  319. (Casiel Melym)
  320. [11:57:36] Enough with the names! It was time to move on to more important things such as survival and training. Then again, there was no need for him to really practice survival since he was already rather keen on his instincts and reflexes after being here once before.
  321.
  322. With the dangers and competition he was facing back in Loranthis, he didn't have a chance to even get them dulled. The child sighed when he thought about his loss and about the fact that more powerful children kept showing up and he was getting quite sick of it.
  323.
  324. Though he wouldn't complain too much since it was motivation for him to get stronger. Like for instance right now, there was a drive pushing him to reach new heights despite the age advantage they held over him. Casiel would put such negative thoughts away for now and focus on bettering himself.
  325. (Casiel Melym)
  326. [12:01:52] Well, the first thing this kid planned to do was to start off with the basics of what he knew, starting with wind magic. Even kung fu masters who trained for decades always went back to their fundamentals when they practiced, for strengthening the foundation strengthened everything else in return.
  327.
  328. Following this same principle, Casiel went back to the basics and begun with wind! He'd first extend both his hands and began focusing mana to his palms. Once he did that, he'd begin shooting out small gusts of wind from his palms, small but controlled bursts.
  329.
  330. The air before them would blur, a bit of snow splashing up as a result of the impact. Casiel wasn't playing around this time, last time he came here to find the diamond in the rough, this time he came here to polish that diamond and make it into a true craft.
  331. (Casiel Melym)
  332. [12:06:08]
  333. Initially it felt like a complete time waster, but he had seen the exercise in some training text before. If this could really help his stabiity and control with his magic as well as his power, then that would be a great help in dealing with nuisances such as Zurie.
  334.
  335. Casiel was still unsure of how powerful Elias was, but judging by the huge swords they both carried, neither of them were going to be an easy battle. Apparently it wasn't even just children, it was adults as well and if they were entering it would spell hell for someone like him who wasn't even at the top of his age range.
  336.
  337. The youth sighed, it sucked to think about how far he had fallen. From number one to two and now to three, at least that's how he felt. He felt as if he'd lose to Elias even though they were yet to fight yet. Still, the boundless confidence the child displayed must have come from somewhere right?
  338.
  339. At least, Casiel and Zurie's did.
  340. (Casiel Melym)
  341. [12:10:24] After roughly an hour of consistently shooting the breeze, pun intended, Casiel felt drained. Beads of sweat developed on his forehead as he flopped onto his knees and then from his knees he'd fall back onto his butt. Looking over to Sebek who was supposedly wandering around and all round curious.
  342.
  343. The child didn't have the energy to care about the lesser's actions, after all, he was too stressed already. Lucky yokai, all they had to do was cannibalize their own race and everything would be fine. They'd gain power, heal wounds, it truly was an envious gift yokai were born with.
  344.
  345. But even so, Casiel would keep strong and firm his resolve in what he had promised in himself to do. After a breather, he'd stand back up,"Okay now it's time for the more advanced exercise." he'd announce before he'd then extend his hands just as he did earlier, but something was different this time..
  346. (Casiel Melym)
  347. [12:14:40] He'd close his eyes as mana gathered in his palms, once his eyes opened, a concentrated gust of wind exploded from the child's palms. The force of the blast was so powerful, it lifted the snow from the ground and it became a massive wave that was about to crash onto Casiel.
  348.
  349. However! Thankfully he had magics that could deflect such a fluke with ease. A wave of his hand, something similar to what Sebek had experienced earlier was summoned. Wind gushing out from his wave, smashing into the snow and sending it flying away from it's master.
  350.
  351. A satisfied expression on the child's face, but he was wasting too much power, so he'd try and aim it away from the snow filled ground. He can't have massive waves everytime he intended to practice now could he? Raising his hands slightly, he'd release yet another explosive gust of wind.
  352. (Casiel Melym)
  353. [12:24:03] He didn't feel it yet and he wouldn't have, the effects that the training had on him. How much better he was getting with each blast, the control he released, soon enough he'd be able to control it all to a great degree. In that moment he would truly become one that had become one with his magic.
  354.
  355. "Is this how people get much stronger faster?" he'd think to himself sounding a bit puzzled, he felt like he hadn't been gaining results. The pressure he felt made him impatient, he wanted to get stronger now, to feel drastic effects now, but the oly drastic he'd get from pushing himself too far is fatigue.
  356.
  357. Casiel panted after his most recent blast of wind, falling to one knee, he'd try and catch his breath. "Man, this stuff is hard and kinda annoying, but I saw it in a book so it must've known what it was talking about." mana circulating through the child again as he rose to his feet.
  358. (Casiel Melym)
  359. [12:27:28] "Ha! Ha! Ha!"
  360.
  361. He'd shout out each time a powerful blast erupted from him, plus it helped with reducing the amount of fatigue his muscles felt. The child kept going at it for hours now but still wasn't satisfied with how he felt. "Just this isn't enough to beat Zurie, I need more power, I need enough power to beat dad easy!"
  362.
  363. He'd punch his palm as he spoke to himself, frustrated as he felt like his growth had been stumped. Shaking his head he'd try to get the negative thoughts out once again. After all, it wouldn't help his spirit or mind if he kept stressing it out like this, but could he help it?
  364.
  365. She insulted himself, his father and the Melym name was looked down upon. Things that he should have never allowed to happen. Never. But what's gone was gone and all he could do now was try to make amends for it by training himself and heading to defeat the heathens that rose against him.
  366. (Casiel Melym)
  367. [12:30:52] It still infuriated him at the fact that he allowed it to happen and that his father was no better than himself which to this day was a shocker and eye opener. Clenching his teeth from just thinking about it, he'd launch a stray shot of wind which crashed into a nearby tree.
  368.
  369. The tree crumbled with little to no resistance from the sheer force of it all. The boy panted as he looked ahead, feeling a it satisfied with what he had done, but it wasn't who he wanted. It wasn't what he wanted. He wanted to be champion, he wanted to make Zurie eat her words.
  370.
  371. And he wanted his father to do the same, to admit to him that he was weak, perhaps even weaker than Casiel himself. The feeling of wanting vengeance but unable to reach it was something torturous. The lad balled his hands into a fist as he looked to the sky as if searching for an answer.
  372. (Casiel Melym)
  373. [12:34:17] Casiel gazed and gazed and gazed to no avail, no matter how hard he searched the heavens for an answer, they wouldn't give him one. The skies were grey, blue and white flashes could be seen within the clouds as lightning flashed and thunder clapped together in harmony.
  374.
  375. Casiel sighed, he'd just have to keep pushing himself and see where he would wind up. Did he need to keep practicing the magics he knew now? Or did he need to learn more magic and throw it into the mix in order to become an even more powerful magi.
  376.
  377. There were so many possibilities, so many answers to the one question which haunted his mind which was. How do I get stronger? He wanted it so badly, but couldn't achieve it, as if the potential he thought he had was stripped away from him for reasons he couldn't fathom.
  378. (Casiel Melym)
  379. [12:36:51] Despite it all, Casiel could only hope that this was a low point and that soon enough he'd skyrocket to greatness where he once was and thrive yet again. He would continue to build himself a guild that had quality fighters and members contributing to the cause that he believed in.
  380.
  381. What that cause was? Well, it was simple. To place Melyms back where they belonged. Which was on the throne of Loranthis and rename it from it's heathen name to Danarium. To take the White Tower and make it Melym Tower, to make the clan thrive again amongst the people.
  382.
  383. Though he grew up in this era, it didn't mean that he couldn't gain the power and will to change it. Just as he had conquered the mountains of Dragon's Peak, he would continue on to conquer Valmasia. He knew, he believed that he had the power and that he would attain the highest heights.
  384. (Casiel Melym)
  385. [12:41:07] With his mind made up yet again, he decided he needed to stop second guessing himself and instead just do it. With his will empowered and even grown to more than before, he'd begin practicing his water magic as well with the wind, bubbles flew from here to there and wind behind it.
  386.
  387. That's right, he didn't fuse them this time, but tried to find ways to enhance each other. As the bubbles whizzed through the air, wind would pursue it and increase the velocity at which it was travelling. Soon enough, the bubble crashed into a rock and left circular shaped indents within.
  388.
  389. "Haha! I'm getting better! If only da-" he'd pause as he was about to mention his father. Did Miciel deserve to even be thought about right now? To be pushed so hard by him and never being accepted for how strong he was and the first time he saw his father fight, he lost.
  390.
  391. Who was undeserving now?
  392. (Casiel Melym)
  393. [12:43:40] "Hmph."
  394.
  395. He didn't have time to let his mind drift with such unpleasant thoughts, instead he'd keep going at it, keep thriving to better himself with or without his father's praise. Casiel could see Zurie ahead of him, but with each time he practiced he could picture himself getting closer to her light.
  396.
  397. Soon he would rise above her light, eclipse it, blot her name out from where it currently was. How he longed to do it but lacked the strength, how he hungered for the chance to become the best Loranthis had seen in a while. But all in due time, he just needed to keep pushing.
  398.
  399. Casiel summoned forth wind and water, fused them together and formed ice, the powerful fusion magic erupted all around him, massive spikes piercing through the snow covered ground. Casiel panted as he continued to push himself to get better with his magic.
  400. (Casiel Melym)
  401. [12:47:56] This struggle was a new chapter in the child's life that he believed would make him stronger much like the struggles he faced when he was left here at Dragon's Peak a few years ago. Everything he'd ever been through was to make him stronger, into a better magi, at least that's what he believed.
  402.
  403. Which is why he tried his best not to fuss about it. He had not only himself to think about, but the people that trusted in him and believed that someday he'd be someone great, if not the greatest of his time. It wasn't only about him, he had to live up to the expectations of those that followed him.
  404.
  405. For him? It was something that would place a bit of tax on him. But even so, he'd bear it because once he bloomed after all the hardships, noone could ever look down on him. That mere thought brought a smile to his face as he trained through blood, sweat and tears.
  406. (Casiel Melym)
  407. [13:06:43] There is no reaction to the woman's initial gazing, only the sixth sense you have when someone was staring at you without break. Casiel looked around him, an uneasy feeling settling within his stomach, but the child merely wrote it off as nerves beforehand especially with his recent...
  408.
  409. Loss.
  410.
  411. However, there was only so much time he had before his name would eventually be brought up on the roster. Sapphire orbs glancing around at the multiple potential opponents that were around. Casiel sighed and rolled his neck, closing his eyes and envisioning himself a champion.
  412.
  413. It helped to calm his nerves a bit, barely. But, either way, progress was progress if even so meager. His hands constantly clenched and relaxed as he awaited to hear the names of the first contenders. He hoped he wouldn't be one of the first to drop out.
  414.
  415. "Gotta focus.. Gotta focus."
  416. (Casiel Melym)
  417. [13:07:34] The stands begin to fill with bloodthirsty spectators. This tournament would prove to be far more entertaining than a death battle between two neries children. Despite the amount of young magi that had joined in this potential bloodbath, the gluttonous woman couldn't help but feel some semblance of euphoria. Two thrones, one for her, and one for Dumzuid, they hover above the arena floating upon a single thunderhead, giving the duo a clear view over the stadium.
  418.
  419. "The rules are simple. One round with your opponent. If it is to be a battle to the death, then both parties must agree to such terms, otherwise...any attempts to kill will be dealt with by me, and a hundred or so soldiers. As...I have no time for defiant fools." Together, her hands clap, attempting to silence the spectators and warriors alike--
  420.
  421. "First round:
  422.
  423.
  424. NYX VERSUS CASIEL!"
  425. (Nahele)
  426. [13:12:41] To say this was unexpected was an understatement, to have just been thinking of himself as one not to drop out in the first round, he wasn't expected to be called first. Not only that, but he wasn't fighting just anyone, he was fighting the one who had betrayed him a while back.
  427.
  428. Casiel stepped forward and approached the field without so much as gazing to the other side. Once he arrived at his spot, he'd about turn and face Nyx. His icy hues gazing dead ahead of him as he wondered what was going through Nyx's mind at this moment since she knew how much he outclassed her last they fought.
  429.
  430. It wasn't an exhilarating feeling, in fact, inside he felt numb, confused as to how he felt about this. He'd reach behind him and removed his sword from the sheath. Droplets of water forming from thin air before they encircled the boy, eventually merging together to form a shroud.
  431.
  432. He'd remain silent, but the iciness in his eyes said it all.
  433. (Casiel Melym)
  434. [13:14:24] "Well....here we go..." She would slowly walk up onto the arena staring forth at Casiel. Her friend she wasn't sure if she could still call him that. She drew her sword and flipped around the blunt edge. Seems like it wasn't gonig to be too the death as Nyx didn't agree to that. She just gave a glare to Sam for the comment and just rolled her eyes.
  435.
  436.
  437. She didn't really think she would win against Casiel. He beat her down before. Maybe this could be redeption. Maybe it could but she deserved to fight him due to betraying him before.
  438.
  439. "Well...Casiel I once again say I'm sorry." She speaks as she raised her sword up high and her Wings appeared from smoke in the air and horns as well.
  440.
  441. She probably wasn't going to win anyways.
  442. (Nyx)
  443. Gained 1 Roleplay Points
