  1. Nekopara is a visual novel that was made as a fan service for those who love Chocola and Vanilla and the other nekos from the artist Sayori. This demo shows off the E-mote system, as well giving us a taste of what Nekopara is about. Nekopara follows the life of Kashou Minaduki, our main character recently moved out of his parents’ home to open his own shop “La Solieil”. But when he stumbles upon two boxes labeled to the brim with warnings it turns out his two nekos that love him so dearly, Chocola and Vanilla were shipped to his new home in an attempt to live with their master. Then shenanigans ensue for our characters, with the demo ending with the opening game. The demo does a great job showing off Chocola and Vanilla cuteness being the main point of the game, E-mote just enhances the cuteness far more than just a generic Moege. E-mote is a system where they animated the sprites in the game comparison to an average visual novel (Ex. Planetarian, Sakura Spirit and Go Go Nippon). The animation is not just simple blink of the eyes or lip-syncing, they also move giving more life to the characters making the game to feel more like an anime, just with characters standing still and sometimes moving into different sprites. Nekopara is a good demo for those who are big nekomimi fans and those who just like a simple moege to have small slice of what’s to come for this game.
