Wednesday 11, Safar 83 A.H.:
	What a day it has been, I’ve spent most of it teaching my two favorite studies: law and medicine. To come home and be with my husband and his wives is relaxing. I know through my study of the Qur’an men are made superior to women which is why my husband doesn’t consider me for political decisions often. I do wish he would ask my opinion on these issues, though, I should be grateful for what privileges I do have. If it was not for Muhammad and his kindness towards his wives and daughters I can’t imagine how oppressed me and other women would be. I must go now, my husband has told me to go to the markets for supplies.
