Dear Mrs. Clare O’Reilly

I’m writing to apply for the position of childminder which was in last Friday’s Newspaper.

I have a kind heart and great nerves. I get angry very rarely, and I’m a very calm person. Other people don’t get angry at me often either and I guess that’s because I’m always very kind and relaxed. I tend to take the negotiator’s role, if my friends happen to get some kind of fight. I have two younger siblings, a brother and a sister.  I often have to take care of them when my parents aren’t home, and I also cook their meals often. I’m used to housework. I’m also a great musician, so I can play and sing with the kids anytime. I can play the piano and guitar, both very well.

I believe that with my experience with kids and other skills, I’d suit the job very well. I have been waiting for an opportunity like this for a while now, so I’d be more than happy to travel to Ireland and start working there. My uncle’s house is nearby, so I’m able to come there fast without any problems. I’m ready to come to work there anytime between June 1st and September 1st.
