  1. All these commands and autothings require that you are on your username
  2.
  3. and identified to nickserv. If you use other nicks often, and you want
  4.
  5. full access to your nick that has access please use /nickserv group
  6.
  7. [nick] [password] which [nick] is the nick that's on the access list and
  8.
  9. [password] is the password for that nick. One of the nicest things about
  10.
  11. this is you won't have to identify every time you change from an away
  12.
  13. nick or an alt nick!
  14.
  15. In parts I put what you can do via the services bot. We don't currently
  16.
  17. have one and that's just there so you can better yourself as a mod for
  18.
  19. all channels!
  20.
  21. Voice, Halfop, Op, etc commands can be used even if you or the user
  22.
  23. already has that mode set(or not set for de-command). Yes this is how I
  24.
  25. deop people who are already not oped, steal my joke and...well then users
  26.
  27. don't know who is doing it :V
  28.

  35.
  36. What do these commands do?
  37. AUTOVOICE: When you join you will be given voice(+v)
  38. VOICEME: If you lose your voice for one reason or another you can have

  42. #channelname [You can also remove it if you want with /chanserv devoice
  43.
  44. #channelname]
  45. FANTASIA: If there is a services bot(We don't have one currently) this
  46.
  47. allows you use the !seen, !op, !kick, !voice, etc commands(you have to be
  48.
  49. able to use these via chanserv to use them though, so a VOP can't use !
  50.
  51. op)
  52.
  53.
  54. HOP(Auto Halfop) are by default level 4. They have access to the
  55.
  56. following:
  57. AUTOHALFOP 4
  58. HALFOPME 4
  59.
  60. What do these commands do?
  61. AUTOHALFOP: When you join you will be given halfop(+h), this is instead
  62.
  63. of voice(+v)
  64. HALFOPME: If you lose your halfop for one reason or another you can have

  67.
  68. #channelname [You can also remove it if you want with /chanserv dehalfop
  69.
  70. #channelname]
  71.
  72. AOP(Auto Operator) are by default level 5! They have access to the

  87. GREET 5
  88. SAY 5
  89.

  91. AUTOOP: When you join you will be given operator(+o), this is instead of
  92.
  93. voice(+v) or halfop(+h)

  95.
  96. client: Use /chanserv ban #channelname [user/mask/etc] reason

  98.
  99. #channelname(there is no need to put your own username)

  107.
  108. Signkick is on(It is) you will have your message appended with (your
  109.
  110. username) at the end: /chanserv kick #channelname user [reason]
  111. KICKME: You can kick yourself. I use it for comedy reasons: /chanserv
  112.
  113. kick #channelname (no need to say you're the user being kicked unless you
  114.
  115. want to have a reason after it)
  116. INVIte: If you're banned, the channel is invite only(+i), or keyworded
  117.
  118. (+k) you can have chanserv invite you into the channel, bypassing all
  119.
  120. that noise: /chanserv invite #channelname [This command can only be used on
  121.
  122. yourself, you cannot invite other users via chanserv]
  123. OPDEOP: This allows you to op or deop users in the channel: /chanserv op
  124.
  125. #channelname user || /chanserv deop #channelname user
  126. OPDEOPME: Same as OPDEOP, but this allows you to do this to yourself:

  133. remove a ban on another user]
  134. VOICE: Allows you to voice or devoice a user in the channel using
  135.
  136. chanserv: /chanserv voice #ponygoon user | /chanserv devoice #ponygoon
  137.
  138. user
  139. GREET: If you have a greeting set on nickserv [/nickserv set greet [words
  140.
  141. you want here], and the channel has GREET turned on(by the founder) your
  142.
  143. greeting will be said on joining.
  144. SAY: Allows you to use /botserv say and /botserv act. Useless without a
  145.
  146. services bot.
  147.
  148.
  149. SOP(little debate on this, Super Operator seems to be the most accepted
  150.
  151. term) are by default level 10. THey have access to the following:

  168.
  169. level 10s or higher).
  170. AKICK: You have access to the akick command. Akick will autokick and ban
  171.
  172. users on join of the channel if the nick/mask/whatever matches. It's a

  174. bit involved, for more info /chanserv help akick
  175. PROTECTME: If your protected status goes away for one reason or another
  176.

  188.
  189. The following commands aren't set under xOP or Levels + Access by
  190.

  200. ASSIGN (disabled)
  201.
  202. What do these commands do?
  203. SIGNKICK: If you are above this level on the access list, your chanserv
  204.
  205. kicks and bans will not have (yourusername) at the end, even if the
  206.
  207. channel has signkick turned on.
  208. SET: Allows you to adjust different settings under set. These are
  209.
  210. usually only adjusted by the owner of the channel, also involved.
  211.

  224.
  225. #channelname users
  226. TOPIC: Allows you to use chanserv to set the topic. Gets past topic
  227.

  229.
  230. have access but aren't currently a halfop or higher.
  231. ASSIGN: Gives you access to assign a services bot to the channel: use
  232.
  233. /botserv botlist to see the list of services bots you can add, then
  234.
  235. /botserv assign #channelname botname to add to channel.
  236.
  237. The following is basically just being on the access list(xOP doesn't have
  238.
  239. anyone set at this user level):
  240. ACC-LIST 1
  241. NOKICK 1
  242.
  243. What do these commands do?

  248.
  249. restricted, or restricted mode is enforced.
  250.
  251.

  253.
  254. bad things happen:
  255. AUTODEOP -1
  256. NOJOIN -2
  257.
  258. What do these commands do?
  259. AUTODEOP: If this user is given any form of power chanserv will instantly
  260.
  261. strip it :iceburn:
  262. NOJOIN: User can't join the channel. Like a ban, but not as useful under
  263.
  264. most circumstances (has to be a registered username/group)
  265.
