[The crew are standing around in the Goopinati headquarters looking at one another when a Chronoton teleports in]

Chronoton:
Excellent work, everyone!  I'll go ahead and take that super leek off your hands, if you don't mind.

Iris:
Hold on.  I don't recall actually agreeing to your little deal.
We may have the super leek now, but we're not about to hand it over to someone we just met for reasons we don't know.
At the very least we deserve an explanation.  Who are you?  What the heck is going on?

Chronoton:
You'll have all your answers soon enough, Iris.  And yes, we know all your names, let's not make a big deal out of it.
For now, all you need to know is that we're the ones cleaning up the mess you all made, and we need these leeks to do it.

Demo:
Wait, the mess _we_ made!?  All we did was have a picnic!

Kood:
A-HA!  I _knew_ that bird was bad mojo!

Chronoton:
Just gonna pretend I didn't hear that...
I suppose it was _technically_ alternate versions of you in a different universe that started this whole thing.
Specifically, the one Sheath escaped from.
...Okay, I'll say this much: we're not completely sure about just what caused this universe to start falling apart, but it seems to be related to what killed Sheath's.
Working theory based on a cursory analysis: the temporal strain from fragments of Sheath's universe merging into this one left it vulnerable... and a bit of whatever force destroyed her universe was transferred along with her.

Demo:
In terms we can understand?

Chronoton:
She gave your universe the spacetime flu while it was having an allergic reaction to her.

Iris:
Wow.  Good going, Sheath.

Sheath:
You're welcome!

Chronoton:
Don't be too hard on her about it.  If that is the case I doubt she could've known, and it sounds like her mind's a touch scrambled from the trip.

Sheath:
Hi!  I'm sixteen!

Chronoton:
Yes, yes you are.

Iris:
Eh, pretty sure she's always been like that.

Chronoton:
In any case, whatever it was, we managed to stop it from destroying everything.  But most of this universe is now gone, and we'll need super leeks to fix it.
So can I _please_ have that leek now?  I'll fill you in on the rest later.

Iris:
Well, still not sure if I believe you, but... fine, I guess.

[Iris hands the Chronoton the leek]

Chronoton:
That's the spirit!  I'll put this to use right away.  In the meantime, your ride should be arriving in three, two...

[A portal opens up between the crew and the Chronoton]

Chronoton:
And that's my cue to leave.  Don't worry, we'll meet again sooner than you think!

[The Chronoton warps away.  After a moment's hesitation, the crew jump into the portal one after the other and the screen fades to black as it closes.
The player is prompted to save, then the text "Meanwhile..." is shown and the screen fades to a white void.
A restorative wave changes the void into a snowing winterland, then Garish pops into existence, followed by his generals and several tanks. They all look around at their surroundings in bewilderment, then Garish begins laughing as the screen fades to black.
The game then begins the W2 intro level, with the characters emerging from the portal.]
