  1. Dr. Hexmoor,
  2.
  3. It has recently come to my attention that the write-up for the robotics portion of our project was not even completed in a manner indicative of depth of integrity. However it may be that I am being overly-generous in calling it "ours". If you recall, I stated rather offhandedly that I was receiving little to no aide from my teammates while we chatted after class one day. In fact the only individual who contributed in any significant way to the project is Matthew Worby, by ensuring I was making use of the proper function calls in Python for the BrickPi. Due to your remarks regarding the previous write-up submission, I wanted to ensure that the final version of the robotics write-up was satisfactory, and to add code snippets that were not present before. Because this project was my brainchild, I accepted the likelihood that a majority of the work would fall on me, however, I provided my group members every opportunity to contribute, and even choose what aspects of the project they wanted to work on... a fact that is fully documented and can be produced if needed. Eventually it became apparent that I would have to take matters into my own hands, and not wanting my grade to suffer at the hands of others, I did. I kept silent about my plight because while I may complain and stress privately, it has not been my nature for a very long time to be combative or confrontational. I have also kept silent because of what I believed to be a mutual understanding that they would contribute by means of completing the project write-up for CS404. Upon receiving the other write-up I quickly recognized the language and verbiage as my own, and a less than meager attempt at borderline unnecessary additions here and there. I put effort into, and take pride in everything that I create, and I am gaffed that a contribution as simple as completing the write-up for a project was beyond the realm of ability for four other people. While I find it unfair for them to receive credit for work they did not do, I ask for your suggestion as to how I should proceed.
