Lacey Orwell sighs and shakes her head as Bran walks off. "Men".
Archemides Fontaine: "Should be a sin to have such a good looking day as this."
Lacey Orwell shrugs at Archie. "Surely after what happened to Taj you wern't not expecting a reaction from Bran. I think he took it pretty well considering how close to death Taj looked after she healed you".
Archemides Fontaine: "I just wanted to see her smile. She's been beating herself up over feeling useless for so long...maybe give her some meaning to life besides just wasting away."
Lacey Orwell: "You went about it the wrong way Archie. If anything Taj would most likely appreciate getting her healing abilities back".
Archemides Fontaine: "Aye....or maybe I -am- just selfish."
Lacey Orwell is completely blunt. "Yes, sounds like you were".
Korah Nellemond: I'd say the latter. You've combined trying to help Taj with trying to replace Osrick. Conrad, as well. I've half a mind to kick you off this damned pier, myself.
Archemides Fontaine chuckles humourlessly. "Go for it."
Lacey Orwell: "Honestly, you're lucky Bran didn't do something worse like punch you or sing one of those bard songs to make you cry uncontrollably for days and days".
Korah Nellemond boots the man heavily, clearly taking the invitation as it was given.
Lacey Orwell just watches as Korah boots the man off the pier, an amuse smirk spreading on her face.
Archemides Fontaine topples off into the water. After a bit he breaches the surface, floating up on his back.
Korah Nellemond: Feel like less of an ass, now?
Archemides Fontaine: "Not at all."
Lacey Orwell: "Going to stop influencing Taj now?"
Korah Nellemond: Good. You shouldn't. IF you or Conrad convince Taj she needs anything like what you two are using to fight..I might have to use some of the unmentioned features in that brace of yours, Aye?
Archemides Fontaine lifts himself back up onto the dock.
Archemides Fontaine: "Noted."
Korah Nellemond reaches down to help the man up onto the deck. "Good. Now, lets get back to the house, eh?"
Archemides Fontaine: "You guys can go ahead. Think I'm gonna stay out here a while."
Lacey Orwell raises a finger to grab Archie's attention. "You saw well enough the other sun what a man will do to his woman. I would suggest you keep your distance from Taj and stop causing issues between her and Bran before you push Bran over the edge".
Archemides Fontaine: "Maybe catch the stars a bit."
Korah Nellemond: Alright.
Lacey Orwell: defend his woman*)
Archemides Fontaine walks over at the back of the pier and sits down silently.
