m: "Everyone will be split into four groups of three, each with their own theme. It's an experiment to see people will become friends friends or get closer to each other by talking about all sorts of topics, however they want to talk about it."

4: Is it ok if we just talk like how we normally do? Also, aren't we pretty much friends already?
m: We are, we are! Riku and Tamaki are in the same group too!
7: You're right! You mentioned a theme, but what kind of theme did our team get?

5: It's not... /bento. There are instances when the food doesn't resemble the character's face or figure. Rather, it's food that was made with the image of the character in mind....

(1) Team A's theme is: 感情的 would've ended up being "Team A's theme is 'emotional'" or smth, either way I had to mix up the syntax a bit because things were just Not Gonna Work. Sentimentality has a way way way different connotation than what is being represented here, so I tossed that one out after doing a few test run sentences w/ it and going .... yea... nope. "ANATA WA KYOU TAMAKI OSHI HORA TEEEEEEEAM A" was also blasting in my head as I did this tl too LOL
(2) death is when u get よろしくお願いします x2 and then よろしく right after like, yo, what do u mean I can't copypasta Clunky Translation A three times and have to think about how to make a less formal iteration of it for the third time??? DAmn
(3) 4 is pronounced the same way as 死 (death) in japanese (also in chinese, and probably a bunch of other asian cultures) so it's kind of like how the number 13 functions in western culture? please google this 4 a much better explanation than me regurgitating my mother's superstitions

1: ...I do not.
9: I have a pretty normal amount.
y: Someone like Momo has tons of friends. He has friends for every department. For sports, it's this person. Going out for drinks? This person.
9: Ah.... I might be that type of person as well.
y: That's different from me. I'm the type who doesn't mind having fewer friends if that means we can do everything together.

9: I don't know if it's intellectual, but I think my way is pretty rational. You get to expand your horizons, and nobody's time is wasted.
1: Well, with friends who you've shared many experiences with, you get a better understanding of each other and your values align more as time goes on. Group-work is also significantly easier.
y: Exactly. Getting close to someone starting from square one is a such a hassle.

9: Not just that. If you depend on someone that much, too much even.... When you lose them, you lose everything.
