[12:22] <TenMihara|GM>  Razor is still down at Star House, while Priest is looking to the rest of the group for answers. The foals are still horrified and barely able to speak.
[12:23] * Green_Field is continuing to work on Purple_Kay shoulder.
[12:23] * Purple_Kay bites down hard on the old wooden handle of his hammer while Green_Field works.

[12:24] * Proverb is trying to comfort one of the crying fillies. She has her wing around her.
[12:24] * Harmony is still explaining what happened to Priest.
[12:27] * Purple_Kay can't completely stifle an outcry around the handle as Green_Field starts scraping the exposed bone clean.
[12:27] <TenMihara|GM>  Priest looks around at the four foals. He looks distraught, "How did this happen? All they did was head down to the riverto get some water for the purifier."
[12:29] * Razor is just about done being at Star House. She scratches a hoof against the ground. "I'm going back now." She wasn't good with this kind of situation. Especially with ponies that she has no interest in.
[12:29] * Harmony sighs, at a loss of words. "I am not sure. We only just arrived."
[12:31] <TenMihara|GM>  Copper nods slowly, "Could you ask Priest to come down when everything is settled then? Just so we can get the whole story."
[12:32] * Proverb nuzzles the filly. "Shhh, shhh, uhm, i-it's over now, y-you'll be f-fine..."
[12:32] <TenMihara|GM>  The filly sniffles. "It... they came out of the river. Wh-what if there's more?!"
[12:34] * Green_Field hearing Purple_Kay's outcry, "there I go getting too into my work again. Here's something for the pain." His horn lights up again and he touches it to PK.
[12:35] <Proverb> "Th-the river? Well, uhm, we c-can go check to make s-sure they're g-gone..."
[12:36] * Razor turns and starts to leave, muttering a "Sure, whatever" as she goes. She heads back to the main building.
[12:36] * Purple_Kay feels the warmth of the spell wash over him, taking off some of the edge when Doc Green digs in again. He spits out the hammer, he can endure this.
[12:38] <TenMihara|GM>  Razor finds things much the same as she left them. Proverb hugging filly, Purple_Kay getting treatment, Green_Field giving Treatment and Harmony explaining what little they know of the situation. Logic_Gates is there too, but hasn't been saying much
[12:39] * Logic_Gates remains rather quiet and reserved while he's here. He didn't dislike this place, but whenever he was here, he always shut up for some reason.
[12:41] * Razor glances around, and decides first to go take a seat next to Purple_Kay.
[12:41] * Green_Field having finished up  cutting the dead flesh, gets out his only graft bandage.
[12:43] * Purple_Kay sees Razor approach. "Hey, Kid..." He sucks in a breath when he shifts. "Everything ok at Star House?"
[12:46] <TenMihara|GM>  Green_Field manages to successfully apply the graft bandaging, but a wound like this is going to take more time to heal all the way, and will obviously leave a massive scarred patch. Not that Purple_Kay had any shortage of scar tissue.
[12:48] * Razor nods. "No problems." She pauses a moment, before adding, "She wants to know what happened."
[12:49] <Green_Field> "That's about all I can do for now. We need to get you someplace cleaner than a road."
[12:50] * Harmony gives a parting bow to Priest before walking over to Purple_Kay. Her brow furrows as she approaches, looking to his wound. "...I apologize, Mister Kay. I should have waited until you were farther from that...ooze."
[12:50] <TenMihara|GM>  Priest nods, "Once I have tended to these foals, I shall inform them of what transpired. As for you, I thank Goddess Celestia that your arrival came when it did. Losing one of the foals is too much, but you kept it from getting any worse."

[12:53] <Proverb> "Shhhh, shhh, it's fine." She says, though she's crying a little too.
[12:55] <TenMihara|GM>  The filly sniffles, "It's not fine. Chase is gone."

[12:56] * Purple_Kay tries to give Harmony a smile. "Don't worry yerself. This doesn't break my top three." He takes a tentative step, grimacing. He was already limping on his right hind leg, and now his right front is nigh useless. He teeters to the right before steading himself in a three-legged stance.
[12:57] * Logic_Gates simply looks rather vacantly at the filly. Complicated emotions churned in his gullet. Something nostalgic and angry and sad and strange and afraid. He wanted to tell her that friends die, that's just the natural order of Hoofington. But he couldn't work it up to speak.
[12:58] * Green_Field watching as he wobbles, "before you move." His horn lights up once more and he touches it Purple_Kay.

[13:14] <TenMihara|GM>  Between the cooling sensation of the salve in the graft and the pain relief spell, Purple_Kay feels up to walking, at least so long as he doesn't strain his messed up leg.
[13:16] <Green_Field> "Try to keep as little weight on that as possible. Now where is that kid that got hit?"

[13:18] <TenMihara|GM>  The filly looks up to Green_Field, sniffling a bit. She poitns a hoof at the colt laying on his side. The colt is still conscious, and panting. Purple_Kay already cut out the corroded flesh, so regular healing should suffice.
[13:19] * Purple_Kay_ takes a few more experimental steps and seems satisfied. He hobbles over to the rest of the group with the foals.
[13:20] <TenMihara|GM>  The foal was bleeding a bit though, but a potion or spell would stop that nearly instantly
[13:20] * Green_Field goes over to the colt and casts a heal spell on him after checking his wounds.
[13:21] * Logic_Gates looks up at Purple_Kay_, then back down at the ground. All this happening at once was making him feel a bit flighty.
[13:21] <TenMihara|GM>  The colt's wounds close up well enough that there should be no lasting damage. If Purple_Kay hadn't removed the damaged tissue though, it probably wouldn't have gone so well. The removal of the smooze to prevent further damage also helped
[13:23] * Razor gets up to help support Purple_Kay. "You shouldn't get so close next time."
[13:26] * Purple_Kay_ "Had to stay between it and the colt. It should have been slower. " He leans a bit into her for support.
[13:29] * Razor snorts at that. She mutters, "Better him than us... You can't do any good dead!"
[13:31] <TenMihara|GM>  The filly gets up and, along with the other two foals that Logic grabbed, trot over to inspect the colt. he stands up, looking weary but healthy. "Ow..."
[13:31] * Purple_Kay_ smirks. "It's ok, Kid. You don't have to worry about me. Although I appreciate the concern. "
[13:33] * Logic_Gates gives a half-hearted glare at Razor before inspecting the foals. They're okay. Good.
[13:34] * Razor frowns. "I just don't want you killing yourself over some dumb colt! That's all!"
[13:35] <Green_Field> "Is there someplace we can put this colt that won't get dirt in his wounds?"
[13:35] * Purple_Kay_ "It's ok, I won't tell anypony you're going soft."
[13:35] <TenMihara|GM>  The colt trots up to Razor and Purple_Kay. He sticks his tongue out at Razor, then turns to Kay, "Thanks mister. For your help." He looks back to Green_Field, "You too doctor." Looking back to Purple_Kay he gives a weak smile, "I saw what happened to Chase... I'm glad I didn't have to end up the same way."
[13:36] * Razor stomps a hoof indignantly.
[13:36] <TenMihara|GM>  Priest looks to Green_Field, "There's barely anything left of his wounds after your spell, but I can take him inside the Chapel if that's what you'd advise Doctor."
[13:36] * Purple_Kay_ 's playful smile evaporates  he turns to the colt. "What about Chase?"
[13:36] <TenMihara|GM>  The colt blinks, "That... that thing it... ate him."
[13:37] <Green_Field> "Please do, I don't like to take chances."
[13:37] * Harmony casually listens to PK and the colt's conversation.
[13:40] * Purple_Kay_ slumps to his haunches, his mouth moving but no words coming out. He snaps it shut. He barely know the colt... But... "Too slow... Dammit."  He stomps in frustration, cringing and stifling a yelp at his casual abuse of the limb.
[13:40] <TenMihara|GM>  The colt jumps back a bit, startled.
[13:41] * Razor eyes Purple_Kay_.
[13:42] * Purple_Kay_ sucks in some calming breathes. "Sorry... Sorry we weren't here sooner. But I'm glad you're alright. "
[13:42] * Green_Field decides to keep quiet about the abuse, the emotion of loss will win anyway. Besides, the pain will be a better teacher than him.
[13:43] <TenMihara|GM>  The colt nods slowly, then Priest takes him inside the Chapel. The other three foals look around the group, as though waiting for something.
[13:43] * Proverb eventually steps away from the filly, giving her a comforting nuzzle before trotting over to the others.
[13:48] <TenMihara|GM>  The filly trots up to Purple_Kay, looking a bit nervous. "Um...
[13:48] * Purple_Kay_ droops his head to her level, mustering up a smile. "Yes, sweetheart?"
[13:49] <TenMihara|GM>  The filly nods, "Can you... well... we Crusaders normally look out for ourselves but... those -things- they... they're just so horrible..." She trails off a bit incoherently
[13:51] * Logic_Gates frowned whenever she mentioned that. Crusaders normally look out for themselves. Wonder what it means when they can't anymore. "Yeah. Sure." He mumbled, the first words he ever spoke while in Chapel with the rest of the party.
[13:52] * Purple_Kay_ "We'll make sure there aren't any around before we leave. Where did they come from anyway?"
[13:53] <TenMihara|GM>  The filly gulps, "We... they came out of the river when we went to get some more water for the purifier."
[13:54] <TenMihara|GM>  The filly sighs, "We... we didn't know what they were and chase poked one with the butt of his rifle. That's how... that's how it got him."
[13:55] * Purple_Kay_ nods. "Whaddaya say, Kid? Sounds like we need to make a water run."
[13:56] <Green_Field> "If by 'we' you mean you staying here to heal up."
[13:57] * Harmony clears her throat. "If there are more of them, only us with energy weapons or explosives can really help."
[13:57] * Proverb nods. "Y-Yeah... conventional r-rounds don't d-d-do anyth-thing to th-them... I'm g-gonna need a n-new gun..."
[13:58] * Razor isn't liking the sound of this. She gives the filly a 'Why the hell would you ask that' sort of glare. "Do I look like I want to get myself killed?"
[13:58] <TenMihara|GM>  The filly cows under Razor's glare, "I just thought... maybe... you don't have to..."
[13:59] * Purple_Kay_ gets up with some effort. "Probably nothing still down there, and they need water for the purifier. Come on Kid. Just a little walk. Will do me some good."
[13:59] * Proverb "S-Something in .308 with i-incendiary rounds..." She mutters, mostly to herself.
[13:59] * Razor snorts angrily. "Maybe you should go step on one then, see how that goes?"
[14:00] * Green_Field get in front of Purple_Kay, "getting in a fight won't help your leg. I'll go for you. You stay here, and don't strain yourself."
[14:01] * Logic_Gates glared at Razor with a kind of anger that one would normally think he wasn't capable of. He stomps out the door and raises his mouthgun, more than ready to start this.
[14:03] <TenMihara|GM>  The other two colts nod approvingly at Logic_Gates and glower at Razor
[14:03] * Purple_Kay_ "won't have you going alone. I can walk, and I can shoot. You don't have to come, Kid. I am aware of what happens if you step on one. " he lifts his mangled limb for emphasis.
[14:05] <Green_Field> "Well at least the priest listened to my advice. Word of note, I'm out graft bandages so don't blast anyoff them onto anypony."

[14:05] * Razor glances over as Logic_Gates stomps out. "Yeah, so I guess you know what happens if I try to hurt one, right?"
[14:08] * Purple_Kay_ "I don't want you anywhere near them, Kid. Figured maybe you could carry the water back for me, if things are clear. Regardless, I'm gonna give it a look. " He starts toward the river
[14:08] * Green_Field follows next him keeping an eye on his leg.
[14:09] <Green_Field> To*
[14:09] * Harmony follows the others, unholstering her pistol.
[14:09] * Green_Field does the same.
[14:10] <TenMihara|GM>  down at the river, there are signs of the short skirmish followed by the hasty retreat of the Crusaders. There are marks on the ground oozed out by the movement of the tainted blobs, leading a trail back to the edge of the river.
[14:11] * Proverb doesn't actually follow them, opting to remain back at the chapel, seeing as she would be ineffective.
[14:11] * Purple_Kay_ scrutinizes the scene. Looking for any dangerous bits left behind, any new signs, and their bucket.
[14:13] <TenMihara|GM>  The Crusaders had left a small wagon with a couple large jugs on it. Neither presently had any water in them, but it had slipped partway into the stream
[14:14] * Logic_Gates furrows his brow and slowly creeps up to the river, casting his pre-battle spells.
[14:14] * Harmony cautiously follows the trail back to the river and looking for any signs of more oozes.
[14:15] * Razor gives a frustrated growl. After a few moments, she stomps her hoof and heads after them.
[14:15] * Logic_Gates takes a look around. Evidence. Right.
[14:15] * Green_Field thinks it's a good idea to hit Purple_Kay with another pain relief, he would screw his leg up anyway...
[14:16] <TenMihara|GM>  The riverbank is clear but for the corroded streaks along its edge. Purple_Kay, Harmony and Logic_Gates all completely fail to notice beneath the surface of the water that the streaks on the bottom of the streak are headed against the current. Maybe Razor will notice when she gets there
[14:17] <TenMihara|GM>  Razor arrives and, somehow, manages to spot this, Although she might not fully realize the implications.
[14:20] * Razor doesn't realize the implications, since she's not really a clever pony, and is still pretty frustrated and annoyed by this whole dumb idea.
[14:21] * Logic_Gates looks at the perfectly clear, totally not contaminated water. "Fuck. Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck." He paces back, and just looks very, very angry. They can't find it. The Crusaders are going to suffer and it's his damn fault for not being there. He rears back, picks up a large rock, and tosses it into the stream out of rage.
[14:25] * Purple_Kay_ eyes the cart. He isnt sure hes up to pulling it out. Hes pondering that when Logic_Gates ' outburst catches his attention.
[14:26] * Razor , being a not-clever pony, also decides to take this time to take out her frustrations by yelling at Purple_Kay_! "Can we just hurry the fuck up!? If one of those /things/ shows up, then I am /done/ here!"
[14:28] * Harmony groans at all the yelling and loud noises.
[14:29] * Proverb has taken to cleaning her rifle.
[14:29] * Green_Field considers taking a swig of his Wild Pegasus to help him through the commotion.
[14:30] * Purple_Kay_ walks toward the bank. "I hear ya. Looks clear. I'll just pull up their cart, get some water from upstream, then we can all get some rest. "
[14:30] <Green_Field> "5 caps says that's what provokes them."
[14:31] <TenMihara|GM>  Proverb, while cleaning her rifle, completely fails to notice the tiny droplet of purple ooze in the muzzle.
[14:31] * Purple_Kay_ (walk being the operative word for slowly hobble)
[14:34] * Razor snorts and stomps a hoof, nudging Purple_Kay_ aside and stepping into place to pull the cart herself. "You'll take too long!"

[14:37] * Logic_Gates raises an eyebrow. It's so annoying! He grumbles. "Let's just go back, tell them to find a different river, and go back home. I have a horrible song stuck in my head that I need to get out with copious amounts of wub."
[14:38] * Purple_Kay_ watches Razor bustle past. He watches her back, scanning the water
[14:40] * Harmony keeps her eyes on the river and Razor, still holding her pistol in her muzzle.
[14:42] <TenMihara|GM>  Purple_Kay's gaze follows the trail of scorched ground under the river... and finally manages to notice the odd contradiction of the trail.
[14:44] * Razor checks the cart to see about the water. If there's already water in it, she's just going to take the cart back.

[14:55] * Logic_Gates blinks. "Where?" He said, hurrying beside Purple_Kay?

[14:56] * Purple_Kay takes another step forward. "Could just be a trick of my eyes." He points it out to Logic." Whaddaya think? Looks like that is where it was, scarred the riverbed."
[14:57] * Logic_Gates tries to catch a glimpse of it. "... I /think/..." He looks up river. "It headed that way, I think."
[14:59] * Logic_Gates blinks. That can't be right.
[14:59] * Razor takes her own look. She'd seen /something/ in the river, but she'd not realized what it was. She inspects it with a trained eye.
[15:07] * Razor warily finishes gathering the water, and returns the jugs to the cart, giving the trail a wide berth. She mutters, "They came from downriver..." She casts a quick glance around for anything of note before she starts to pull the cart back.
[15:08] * Purple_Kay gives her a nod. "Guess that's all there is to see. Let's head back."
[15:08] <TenMihara|GM>  With the paths Razor can see, it looks like they got all the ones that came this far. A bit further down however, she can see a few scorch marks on the opposite bank, more towards the area around Megamart
[15:11] * Razor secures herself to the cart and starts to pull it back to the group. She mutters, "We got all the ones that were here, but..." She indicates the opposite side. "I think there are more, somewhere."
[15:14] * Harmony looks to the other ponies. "Should we pursue them?"
[15:15] * Purple_Kay "I don't think so, that's Somewhere's problem right now. Chapel is safe for now, and that is what matters."

[15:20] <TenMihara|GM>  Chapel's firepit is still available, and afetr the commotion, many of the foals have elected to stay indoors for now. Apparently Charity was still brave enough to put out her daily deals sign though.
[15:20] * Harmony turns away from the river and starts to walk to Chapel.
[15:21] * Logic_Gates shrugs, grimacing slightly, then goes up to Chapel. "Purple?"
[15:21] * Purple_Kay fumbles with his pack, lipping out a cigarette and trying to work the lighter as they near Chapel again. "Yeah, Giggy?"
[15:23] * Green_Field uses telekinesis to help him with the lighter.
[15:23] * Logic_Gates churns a thought around in his mouth. "If you had to guess, where do you think it'd go?"
[15:23] * Razor is having a bit of a rough time pulling the cart. Nothing she can't handle, but... she's lagging behind.
[15:23] <TenMihara|GM>  The wagon wasn't even as big as Razor herself.  It was a foal's wagon
[15:24] * Purple_Kay nods his thanks to Doc Green, settling down on his haunches to wait for Razor and taking a long drag before responding. "Well, from what she said, towards Megamart. But they are much better prepared for this kinda thing. I wouldn't worry over much."
[15:25] * Razor doesn't have as much of a rough time then. But the water jugs are still weighing it down!
[15:26] <Green_Field> "We don't know how many went that way though. The group we fought might have been a small detachment."
[15:29] * Purple_Kay takes another drag. "Still, between the guards, the customers, and Gun. I ain't worried. Not enough to rush off, anyway."
[15:32] * Green_Field take a swig from his bottle, and thinks, "running low in this one."
[15:32] * Purple_Kay glances over to Charity's sign.
[15:34] <TenMihara|GM>  Charity's Daily Deals seem to be for a lot of random bits and bobs, but underneath there's a note about her offering extra value on Magical Energy Weapons and Ammunition. This part seems to have been scrawled on a bit more hastily.

[15:41] <TenMihara|GM>  Charity smiles at Razor, "Thanks for that. I just got the purifier a couple weeks back, and have been trying to get my money's worth out of it."
[15:42] <TenMihara|GM>  Charity looks back at Purple_Kay, "Touchy subject? Sorry about that, but in this case, it's justified. The Flash Fillies are Magical Energy Weapon specialists, and it looks like we might need to stock up for ourselves."
[15:43] * Harmony is a tad interested seeing what energy weapons and ammunition Charity has, and seeing Charity step out now, she speaks up. "Also, seeing as we assisted chapel, and brought back your cart... perhaps you might be able to show us good faith, and allow us to purchase some of your wares at a discount, say... twenty percent off? It would help if we were to find ourselves attacked by those oozes, once more."
[15:45] <TenMihara|GM>  Charity blinks at Harmony, "Well, I think everyone's gonna be wanting some now but... oh, I think you misread my sign. I was looking to buy magical energy weapons and ammo for my fellow crusaders." She eyes Harmony, "Although... if you could find me a supplier, I'm sure I could make it worth your while."
[15:45] * Purple_Kay tries to stifle a laugh at the concept of bartering with this particular filly. He does so with some success.
[15:47] * Harmony nods. "We may be able to find a supplier, if we have time." She gestures to Purple_Kay. "Though Mister Kay was injured fighting, perhaps I could purchase some additional medical supplies at a discount?"
[15:48] * Green_Field 's ears perk up at that.
[15:48] <TenMihara|GM>  Charity looks at Purple_Kay, "I wanna hold onto some for the Crusaders too, since it looks like we might need them, but... since he got that badly messed up for our sake, I'll cut you 10%."
[15:49] * Razor decides to go and visit the main building for a while... She needs to relax.
[15:49] * Purple_Kay would feign a heart attack, but figures it best not to interfere with the pretty mare when she's on a roll.
[15:49] <TenMihara|GM>  Priest is there with the colt who got splattered with the burning ooze. He looks up, as does Priest, when Razor enters the chapel.
[15:50] * Logic_Gates just kind of stands in front of the church. He's wanting to go back home and soon.
[15:50] * Harmony smiles to Charity before turning to Green_Field. "Mister Green, I believe it was? Do you need any caps to purchase more supplies?"
[15:51] * Razor doesn't talk to them. She just goes over to sit on one side.
[15:51] <TenMihara|GM>  Priest nods to her and leaves her to admire the stained glass windows.
[15:51] <Green_Field> "I doubt 11 we get me much so, yes, please."
[15:52] <TenMihara|GM>  Proverb is there too, and is not dead.
[15:53] * Harmony hoofs 300 caps to Green_Field. "Anything you have left over would be appreciated, but do not hesitate to spend it all."
[15:53] * Green_Field is a little shocked, "wow, thank you very much."
[15:54] * Green_Field starts looking through his things to see what he needs.
[15:54] * Harmony smiles and bows her head as she turns away from Green_Field.
[15:55] * Purple_Kay smiles. "Pretty /and/ generous. You're gonna make some stallion or mare very happy someday." He gives her a little smile and trots into the store proper. He needs some doo-dads and whats-its.
[15:56] * Proverb is just sitting on the steps of the chapel, her rifle across her lap.
[15:57] * Razor is glad to be able to do so without interruption. She takes a deep breath, and lets out a sigh.
[15:57] * Harmony chuckles at Purple_Kay's remark. "Why thank you."
[15:58] <TenMihara|GM>  Charity has who-sits and what-sits galore. She's got gadgets and knick-knacks a plenty too
[16:00] * Purple_Kay meets Charity's eyes. "Once you get Doc Green squared away, I'll tell ya anything ya wanna know about the Flashers. Ain't a sore subject, just don't wanna see any of y'all getting caught up in gang warfare."
[16:01] <TenMihara|GM>  Charity nods, "I'm just trying to look out for my own. I know a few of the bigger gangs from travellers, but not too much."
[16:02] * Logic_Gates is still rather upset with the affairs of his mind. Nopony can stop the~- Damnit!
[16:07] <TenMihara|GM>  Charity points Harmony and Green to her small cabinet of medical supplies. She has 4 Healing Potions, 6 rolls of Magical Bandages, 10 Mundane, 3 Syringes of Med-X, and a Bottle of Buck
[16:07] <TenMihara|GM>  There are also a couple tubes of burn salve
[16:09] * Purple_Kay makes his way over to the workbench, which brings up an old idea! He gets out his drafting supplies and starts putting his thoughts for a pony-portable workbench on paper.
[16:09] * Harmony trusts the Green_Field knows what he is buying, so she walks over and sits down next to Proverb, giving the pegasus a smile.
[16:10] <TenMihara|GM>  Charity glances over at Purple_Kay, "What are you up to there?"
[16:10] * Proverb looks up from staring at her rifle. "Oh, uhm, h-hi Miss Harmony..."
[16:12] * Purple_Kay "Jotting down a marketable idea. Handle them and I'll go over it with ya. Might be some caps in it."
[16:13] * Green_Field places 81 caps on the counter, "I'll all 6 magical bandages and burn salves." Thinking it best not buy drugs with somepony else's money.
[16:14] <Green_Field> Take all-
[16:14] <Green_Field> *
[16:14] * Harmony chuckles. "Hello, Proverb... I told you though, you do not need to call me 'Miss'"
[16:15] <Proverb> "O-Oh, uhm, s-sorry... f-f-forgot..."
[16:16] <Harmony> "It is quite alright."
[16:18] <TenMihara|GM>  Charity raises an eyebrow, "Oh? Do tell." She nods to Green_Field and slips the caps into her register, then unlocks the cabinet for him.
[16:18] <Green_Field> "Tell what?"
[16:18] * Proverb smiles slightly to Harmony. "Uhm, d-d-did you f-find anything at th-the r-river?"
[16:19] <TenMihara|GM>  Charity said that first bit to Purple_Kay
[16:19] * Green_Field looking back, "oh, right, nevermind."
[16:20] * Purple_Kay doesn't look up from his work. "I know most ponies don't really have a place they settle down at, especially in the Hoof. I know I don't. And I'm always having to rent time at workbenches. Then I got the idea on how I could pretty easily modify a traditional workbench to be pony-portable."
[16:20] * Purple_Kay "I figure there is a big market for that, and the potential for a nice markup."
[16:21] * Harmony frowns and sighs, looking to Proverb. "No, and yes... We did not find any more ooze, but their trails looked like they were moving to Megamart."
[16:21] <Proverb> "O-Oh my... th-that's not good..."
[16:21] * Purple_Kay "I offered a deal to a pony in Megamart. I'd build him a proof of concept, and give him the plans and a detailed set of directions that even a layman mechanic could follow. I'd keep the proof of concept as payment. He didn't go for it. No vision."
[16:21] <TenMihara|GM>  Charity looks intrigued, "That could definitely be marketable, especially to mercenaries who do a lot of their own weapon maintenance. As well as the einventive types like yourself. Don't think I didn't see those nifty gizmos on that Crazy's mare's legs."
[16:22] * Green_Field is amused at the difference in their specialties. His "work tables" move, sometimes too much.
[16:23] * Harmony nods to Proverb. "Right. Hopefully... they will be able to deal with it."
[16:24] * Purple_Kay "I figure the cost of the table I'd be paid with could be recouped in one or two sales, but I never had the head for caps."
[16:25] * Green_Field after receiving the supplies, gives Harmony the remaining 219 caps.
[16:25] * Proverb nods. "Y-Yeah... I need a new gun...."
[16:26] * Harmony smiles to Green Field and takes her remaining caps. "Thank you." She turns to Proverb. "If you would like, I could give you some caps. Though I am not sure Charity has what you are looking for..."
[16:26] <TenMihara|GM>  Charity ponders that, then trots off into the back of her shop, rummaging around for a bit. She comes back out slowly, dragging a half-assembled workbench that looks like the one she normally uses, but in far worse condition. "I was in the process of stripping parts and tools from this one to supplement mine."
[16:27] <Proverb> "Something in .308, a-and some incendiary rounds."
[16:28] * Purple_Kay looks it over with a critical eye, then a thought hits him. "You do the maintenance on the Crusader's equipment? Or do you have a mechanic stashed around here somewhere?"
[16:28] * Harmony offers her 226 caps to Proverb. "Why don't you see if Charity has anything?"
[16:29] * Proverb nods, taking the caps. "Uhm, o-okay..."
[16:29] <TenMihara|GM>  Charity nods, "I do some of the work, but I'm not the best at it. Clanker is better, but he's kinda lazy."
[16:29] * Logic_Gates shifts around uncomfortably. He really wanted to get home and check up on his test results. He, of course, passed. But it's the principle of the matter. He made his way to Charity's shop by memory. "... Hey. You got anything that shoots the glowy stuff?"
[16:30] * Proverb gets up, slinging her rifle, and trots to Charity's shop. She noses the door open, stepping inside.
[16:31] * Harmony decides to lean against Chapel's wall, and rest her eyes.
[16:31] <TenMihara|GM>  Charity looks over as Logic_Gates enters, "Oddly enough, we were just discussing that. I was hoping to go into business with the Flash Fillies as a Supplier, and figured if you could set that up, I might be able to offer some good deals on surplus."
[16:32] * Purple_Kay crouches down and checks under the table. His foreleg slides out from under him and he thumps to the ground, hissing. He sucks his teeth and pulls himself under it to make a few more observations. "This would work. I'll draw up step my step directions, but if you wanted to make him watch..."
[16:32] * Logic_Gates considered that a bit. "They anywhere near the College?"
[16:32] <Proverb> "Uhm, h-hello...?"
[16:34] <TenMihara|GM>  Charity looks to Purple_Kay, "Ask him, he seems to know more about the gangs than I do. I only have bits and pieces from travellers."
[16:35] * Logic_Gates looks at Proverb as she enters. "'Sup?" His attention was immediately drawn to Purple_Kay. "Well?"
[16:38] * Purple_Kay "Close-ish. We could make the Flasher's main stronghold in a day."
[16:38] * Proverb looks around the shop, fidgeting nervously.
[16:39] <TenMihara|GM>  Charity looks at Proveb, "What do you need filly?"
[16:40] <Proverb> "Uhm, I w-w-was w-wondering if y-you had a-a-anything ch-chambered i-in .308"
[16:41] * Purple_Kay studies the busted workbench, disassembling it in his mind and heading back to the other to jot down a basic outline for dissassembly and modification. He'd flesh it out as he goes. He looks back to Logic. "Course they won't want anything to do with us. There's a reason they are the Flash /Fillies/." He adds under his breath, "Particularly won't welcome me."
[16:41] <TenMihara|GM>  Charity looks to Proverb, "Funny you should say that." She trots into the back of her store again.
[16:41] * Proverb blinks. "Uhm..."
[16:44] * Purple_Kay double checks his checklist before checking it again.
[16:44] <TenMihara|GM>  Proverb comes out the back of the shop, dragging something in a wagon. It's a .308 chambered automatic rifle that looks like it had been decoupled from a turret placement. "I was planning on setting this up to help defend the place. The right price could see it gone though, especially considering we seem to be in mroe need of magic weapons."
[16:47] <TenMihara|GM>  The gun, noticably, is bigger than Proverb, and really looked more like it belonged on the business end of Purple_Kay
[16:47] * Proverb blinks. "Oh... well, th-that's not r-really what I h-had in mind... I d-don't think I c-could even hold it...."
[16:49] <TenMihara|GM>  Charity shrugs, "It's all I've got right now, but yeah, I didn't think it'd be up your alley." She jabs a hoof at Purple_Kay, "Might be up his though."
[16:51] * Proverb 's ears droop. "O-Okay then, uhm, th-th-thanks a-a-anyway."
[16:52] * Proverb turns and trots back out of the shop.
[16:52] * Logic_Gates scratches his chin. "I don't suppose we could check in on home, and then head up to the college?" He says in his normal monotone.
[16:53] * Proverb comes trotting back over to wher Harmony was.
[16:53] * Harmony is still resting her eyes and leaning against Chapel.
[16:54] * Proverb nudges Harmony's leg. "Uhm, H-Harmony?"
[16:55] * Green_Field gets out an apple and eats it.
[16:55] * Purple_Kay "We should do that. But I'd like to rest up a night before we head out. I want to be ready incase we run into any more of that stuff on the way there. Besides, got business with this lil' businesspony." He smiles. "Want me to drag that to the back for ya? Could take the time to get Clanker if you want him to watch the modification."
[16:56] <TenMihara|GM>  Charity nods, "Deal." She lets go of the wagon handle and trots out of the shop.
[16:56] * Harmony shakes her head and opens her eyes, smiling when she sees Proverb. "Hello, Proverb. Did you find anything?"
[16:57] * Purple_Kay drags the weapon to the back. He saw some scrap and Wonderglue he would probably end up buying in the front, maybe she has some other stuff he needs tucked in the back. He looks while he drags.
[16:59] <TenMihara|GM>  Purple_Kay spots a roll of Duct Tape on one of the storage shelves. Charity was beginning to strike him as a Hoarder of sorts.
[16:59] * Logic_Gates frowns gravely at that, then heads back to the church. He hated sleeping here. It broke the rules. "Good afternoon." He said in passing to the two mares.
[16:59] * Proverb shakes her head, holding Harmony's caps out for her. "N-No."
[16:59] <TenMihara|GM>  Priest looks up at Logic_Gates enters, "Oh, hello there. How have you been faring since you left?'
[17:01] * Harmony shrugs, taking her caps from Proverb. "I am sure that we can find you something elsewhere."
[17:01] * Logic_Gates looks off to the side. "Alright." For some reason, he really couldn't look Priest in the eyes. It was an irrational failing of his. "I'm sorry for having to break the rules, sir, but I'm going to have to spend the night."
[17:02] <TenMihara|GM>  Priest chuckles, "It's alright. You and your friends helped saved four of the other Crusaders. You are most welcome."
[17:02] * Green_Field seeing nothing else to do, decides to check on the foal that was hit by the smoozling.
[17:02] <TenMihara|GM>  The foal is taking a nap on the pews
[17:02] * Proverb nods, sighing. "Y-Yeah... I, I suppose so..."
[17:03] * Logic_Gates frowns. "I'm still breaking the rules, and that is wrong." Computers fail whenever they break the rules. He didn't see why societies should be any different.
[17:05] * Green_Field is pleased to see the foal resting and doesn't bother him.
[17:06] * Harmony nods and goes back to resting her eyes, still leaning against Chapel.
[17:06] * Purple_Kay grabs the roll of duct tape and takes it out with him. He also grabs some scrap and a tube of Wonderglue. He puts them off to the side of the not-to-be-modified workbench so he'll remember to buy them.
[17:07] * Proverb sits back down next to Harmony, leaning against the soft and warm pony with a sigh.

[17:11] * Harmony smiles as she feels some pegasus lean against her, and lightly leans back. Lightly, as to not topple over Proverb.
[17:12] <TenMihara|GM>  Charity comes back with another colt in tow, this one a brown Earth pony colt with a slightly sockier frame than most ponies his age. He gives a yawn and looks to Purple_Kay. "Sup?'
[17:13] * Proverb murrs quietly. Harmony is soft and warm, and Proverb quickly drifts off into a light snooze against her.
[17:14] * Purple_Kay looks down at his new unwitting and probably unwilling apprentice. He thrusts the checklist and pencil into his hooves. He cracks a somewhat distrurbing grin. "I'm gonna learn ya something. You're going to watch and take notes, specifically noting anytime I deviate from that checklist. So I can make a new checklist."
[17:14] * Logic_Gates stands up at attention. "Yes sir. Thank you, sir." That was enough for him. He came up for his punishment, and his punishment was to not be reprimanded. It was an odd one, but at least that bit of law was taken care of. He found a pew and rested there. "I'm going to the college soon." He stated.
[17:15] <TenMihara|GM>  Clanker yawns again, "What for?"
[17:16] <TenMihara|GM>  Priest looks to Logic_Gates, "Oh? I have heard the Collegiate are, if nothing else, noble in their pursuit of knowledge. What do you hope to gain from them?"
[17:16] * Purple_Kay "From those we will devise the most efficient way to convert a workbench to a pony-portable workbench."
[17:16] * Logic_Gates shrugs. "Cloudwalking spell."
[17:17] * Razor is feeling much calmer now, after relaxing, admiring the stained glass for a while.
[17:17] * Purple_Kay "Doesn't that sound fun?"
[17:19] <TenMihara|GM>  Priest gives an impressed smile, "That sounds interesting. What do you... actually, I'm not sure I want to know the answer to that."
[17:21] <TenMihara|GM>  Clanker yawns and looks at the checklist, "Why do you need to keep it written down? Is your memory bad?"
[17:21] * Logic_Gates smiles faintly. "I can count the ones I have left on the list on my hooves."
[17:22] <TenMihara|GM>  Priest chuckles weakly
[17:22] * Proverb leans against Harmony a little harder as she drifts off to sleep.
[17:23] * Logic_Gates frowns. "I don't know what I'll do next."
[17:23] * Harmony instinctively puts a foreleg around Proverb, bringing her close.
[17:23] <TenMihara|GM>  Priest looks Logic_Gates over, "Well, what else do you think you can accomplish with your talents?"
[17:23] * Purple_Kay snorts. "It's got to be written down, because the checklist is the payment to Charity. Gotta make sure anypony with a scrap of mechanical inclination can follow it." He starts removing his battle saddle... leaving his armor on for now since he doesn't want to screw with the bandages. The pain has been winding itself up, Whatever Doc Green did is well worn off.
[17:24] * Proverb murrs, snuggling against Harmony lightly.
[17:24] * Logic_Gates considers this only briefly. "Anything. That's the problem."
[17:26] <TenMihara|GM>  Priest smiles, "At least you are ambitious. Perhaps those at the Collegiate could help you find other pursuits."
[17:26] <TenMihara|GM>  Clanker yawns, "Oh. Well, if they need instructions on how to do something, why are they doing it in the first place?"
[17:27] * Harmony drifts off in her comfortable position, snuggling back.
[17:28] * Logic_Gates seems frustrated. "When I get done with this, though, what do I do next? When there's so much to do, and only so much time to do it?"
[17:29] * Purple_Kay "You ever build anything off a schematic? Same deal. Regardless, we got work to do." He stretches once, grabs his tools, and gets to work. "Step one..."
[17:29] <TenMihara|GM>  Priest mulls that over, "It is true that time is short for most of those in the wasteland, but rather then trying to cram in doing all of the things, why not simply do what you can and enjoy the fact that you -can- do it."
[17:31] <TenMihara|GM>  Clanker sighs and fiddles with the checklist while Purple_Kay works
[17:32] * Logic_Gates hung his head. "Because when there's no direction, then I find myself doing nothing. And the reason I'm here, the reason everyone's here is to do stuff. So I need some direction to go in. And after that direction eventually gets to it's destination, then what?"
[17:34] <TenMihara|GM>  Priest notes, "Life is a journey that only ends when life itself does."
[17:34] <TenMihara|GM>  Priest smiles, "Each 'Destination' is merely a waypoint on the same continuous journey."
[17:37] * Logic_Gates inhaled. "What journey really ends when there's no destination to be had?"
[17:39] * Logic_Gates shrugs. "Can you really call it a journey when you have no idea where you're going?"
[17:39] * TenMihara|GM smirks, "Exactly. It doesn't end."
[17:39] <TenMihara|GM>  (Priest
[17:41] * Logic_Gates grumbles. "Then it's not a journey. You just wander around and then things happen, and then you die. And I'd rather know where to go and have it not really mean anything than to simply wander around and know it doesn't."
[17:41] <TenMihara|GM>  Priest shakes his head, "Just because there is no final destination does not make the intermitten ones meaningless."
[17:44] * Razor decides she's had enough of a rest. She stretches and heads outside.
[17:44] * Logic_Gates 's head jumps up and he looks him in the face. "Then there has to be intermitten ones in order for them to have meaning. Otherwise, there is no destination other than the one you end up in."
[17:46] <TenMihara|GM>  Priest sighs, "I think we're going around in circles here."
[17:48] * Logic_Gates looks away, rather embarrassed. Where the hell did that come from? Stop it. You know you, and you don't do that. "Sorry." He tucks himself in the pew. "Life's weird. You go really, really far and it turns out you haven't gone too far at all."
[17:51] <TenMihara|GM>  Priest nods, "You will find the answers you seek soon enough. I am sure of it."
[17:53] * Razor goes looking for Purple_Kay. She heads back to Charity's shop to check there first.
[17:54] * Proverb and Harmony are snuggled together on the steps of the chapel, sleepin'.
[17:55] <TenMihara|GM>  Purple_Kay is currently nearing the end of his conversion process from a regular (and previous beat to shit) workbench into a lightweight, portable model, with Clanker looking on and taking notes lazily.
[17:56] * Logic_Gates gets cozy in his pew. "Sorry. I'm going to go to sleep." He thought about it for a little while, an errant thought striking him. "Hey, Priest? Can you tell the story about Celestia and Luna again? The one where they went up to the Crystal Kingdom and banished that bad guy?"
[17:59] <TenMihara|GM>  Priest chuckles, "I can, if you like. I always wondered why that one in particular fascinated you so."
[18:01] * Logic_Gates slumped his head down and lifted an ear up. He didn't quite know why he liked it either. Something about the way Priest told it just made him feel at ease.
[18:01] <TenMihara|GM>  Priest tells the tale
[18:02] * Logic_Gates fell asleep.
[18:03] * Razor goes and sits next to Purple_Kay. She mutters a "Hi" as she makes herself comfortable.
[18:05] * Green_Field finishes what little was left of his second to last bottle of Wild Pegasus, not even enough to get a good buzz going. He never likes being down to his last.
[18:05] * Purple_Kay is sprawled on his back under the bench working left-hooved to the best of his ability. Using his battered limb only when absolutely necessary. "Hey, Kid. I'm just wrapping up. As long as Clanker took good notes, it shouldn't be much longer.
[18:07] <TenMihara|GM>  Clanker was attentive at the very least, but his mouthwriting is a lazy, almsot illegible scrawl.
[18:09] * Razor can't write much better.
[18:11] * Purple_Kay "There." He flops a little as he tries to shimmy out from under the workbench on his back. He's doing his best not to accidently roll on his right side.
[18:14] * Purple_Kay eventually clears the confines of the bench's underside and rolls to his left. He struggles a bit, but gets up with a grunt and a singular stifled yelp. "Alright, Mr. Clanker. Let's see those notes."
[18:15] <TenMihara|GM>  Clanker hoofs them over lazily
[18:17] * Purple_Kay sucks his teeth. "Should put a bit more effort into legibility. But the details are good." He quickly draws up a new modified checklist. "There. If you weren't as bright as you are, could you follow that?"
[18:19] <TenMihara|GM>  Clanker looks at it, "If I weren't as bright as I was, why would I want to?"
[18:21] * Razor eyes Clanker. "Can you read it or not?"
[18:22] <TenMihara|GM>  Clanker raises an eyebrow, "Well, can -you-? You seem the type who would need the instruction."
[18:23] * Purple_Kay "Clank, you're smart. I can tell. Didn't get tangled up at all no matter what I did to try and trip you up. You could be excellent at this. But you need to think about other ponies. Not all of them are as bright as you, or as tough, but something like this can help a lot of folks."
[18:24] * Purple_Kay "Sometimes we can do things that are easy for us, but can help a lot of others. We should do those things."
[18:27] <TenMihara|GM>  Clank yawns, "Gotta watch out for number one in the wasteland. My parents didn't, and now they're dead."
[18:29] * Purple_Kay looks around for Charity, he needs to finish this exchange. "It's true, sometimes helping others will get you killed, but doing something helpful that only takes a bit of effort is a far cry from charging into a pack of goo-monsters."
[18:30] <TenMihara|GM>  Charity was watching quietly the whole time, save for a couple trips to her stock room. "So, all done then?"
[18:31] * Purple_Kay nods. He hoofs over the schematic, the step-by-step instructions, and 17 caps for the scrap, the tape, and the glue. "All done here, just need to fold her up."
[18:32] <TenMihara|GM>  Clanker tilts his head, "I suppose." He yawns and gets back up, heading out. Charity smiles, "let's see if it actually compacts properly then." She watches
[18:32] * Razor is more inclined toward Clanker's way of thinking, but doesn't like how lazy he acts.
[18:33] * Purple_Kay quickly folds the workbench into a compact box.
[18:34] <TenMihara|GM>  Charity smiles, "Nice work. That one's all yours."

[18:39] <TenMihara|GM>  It's the middle of the afternoon. Everyone's naps could be forgone in favour of reaching Megamart before nightfall... provide Purple_Kay gets a bit of support
[18:40] * Purple_Kay "We'll have to find an activity then. Or we could head to Megamart tonight."
[18:43] * Purple_Kay hobbles toward the door. "I figure I won't slow us down too much, and if so you can just carry me."
[18:44] <TenMihara|GM>  Proverb and Harmony are currently napping on the steps of the Chapel Chapel, while Logic_Gates is napping inside on the pews near the recently mended colt
[18:45] * Green_Field goes out and sits in front of the chapel waiting to see what's next for group.
[18:45] * Proverb is cuddled against Harmony!
[18:46] * Harmony still has a hoof around Proverb, keeping them close and warm.
[18:46] * Purple_Kay hobbles out of Charity's and toward the chapel where Harmony and Proverb are napping.
[18:47] * Razor nods. "Sounds as good a plan as any." She follows behind Purple_Kay.
[18:48] * Proverb probably looks really frigging adorable. There should be a warning label attatched to her.
[18:49] * Purple_Kay nods to Doc Green as he goes over to the sleeping pair. He lowers his head to Charity's ear and whispers loud enough to wake her. "Some day comes pretty quick."
[18:49] * Green_Field nods back.
[18:50] <Purple_Kay> Charity = Harmony
[18:53] * Harmony blinks awake and looks to Purple_Kay, smiling to herself. "Yes, yes." She looks down to Proverb, and nudges her in an attempt to wake the pegasus.
[18:54] * Purple_Kay smiles and heads into the chapel. One more pony to find.
[18:55] * Proverb shifts, muuring, but not waking.
[18:56] * Harmony brings her muzzle to Proverb's ear, and whispers. "Proverb... It's time to wake up."
[18:59] * Razor eyes Harmony and Proverb for a moment, then heads inside with Purple_Kay. Leave them to their... selves.

[19:00] * Proverb 's eye shoots open as her wings *FWOOMP*. "Eeeep!"
[19:01] * Purple_Kay trots into the chapel, looking around for Logic. He moves quickly, not really liking this place. "Giggy?"
[19:02] <TenMihara|GM>  Priest waves a hoof, "he is up here with Rod, who's safety I'm told is owed largely to you."
[19:02] * Harmony smirks and suppresses a chuckle. She'd seen this kind of reaction with the few pegasi in the Society. She waggles her eyebrows at Proverb to tease her more.
[19:03] * Proverb 's cheecks turn from black to red as she stammers something incomprehensible, blushing hotly, her wings still at full extension.
[19:05] * Purple_Kay walks forward. "My pleasure... well... pleasure is a stretch. I'd do it again though." He moves up Logic_Gates and gives him a gentle prod with his nose. Can't really spare a hoof with his injury. "Come on, Giggy. Gonna head to Megamart tonight. Should make it before nightfall."
[19:07] * Harmony sits up and giggles uncharacteristically, looking to Proverb. "I think we are about to head out, Proverb," She pauses for a moment as an evil idea forms. "We'll have plenty of time for that later tonight." She walks away with a wink, heading back into Chapel to find Purple_Kay.
[19:08] <TenMihara|GM>  Priest nods, "I am glad there are those who would take such risks still. A pity Chase was lost."
[19:08] * Proverb sits on the stairs. Processing.... Processing.... "...meeeeeeeep!"
[19:10] * Harmony walks to Purple_Kay, still smiling. "I am ready to go when you are, Mister Kay."
[19:10] * Purple_Kay blinks rapidly a few times. "Hardly knew him, but he greeted us our first time here. He reminded me of... well... somepony. I wish I knew him better, but I'm sorry our timing wasn't better."
[19:12] <TenMihara|GM>  Priest nods, "Better late than never, to quote an old adage. Perhaps not comforting in this case, but I am still gratefulo."
[19:15] * Purple_Kay takes a deep composing breath. "Just keep them as safe as you can, Priest. You do a good thing here, even if... You do good." He turns to Harmony. "Best we head out. Burning daylight, or what passes for it." He starts to move away.
[19:16] * Harmony follows after Purple_Kay.
[19:17] * Green_Field wordlessly gets up and follows.
[19:18] * Proverb is standing on the steps. Her wingboner is gone, but she's still blushing slightly.
[19:18] * Purple_Kay looks over his shoulder at the still napping Logic_Gates. He sighs and crosses over to him. He grits his teeth as he scoops him up on his back.
[19:19] * Razor glances at Priest and gives a farewell nod. Afterward, she follows Purple_Kay when he heads outside.
[19:19] <TenMihara|GM>  Purple_Kay thinks that was a bad idea with only three legs, after factoring in the lopsided distribution of his saddle's weight
[19:22] * Purple_Kay 's saddle is perfectly symmetrical and balanced, but this was still probably a bad idea. Oh well. he's stubborn. He attempts a couple steps.
[19:24] * Razor thinks it's probably a good idea to help steady Purple_Kay. She gets on his lopsided side to make sure he doesn't fall flat on his face.
[19:24] <Green_Field> "If I may make a suggestion, Razor is probably strong enough to carry him, that way you don't hurt yourself more than you already are."
[19:25] * Purple_Kay nods, leaning heavily against Razor as he teeters. He rolls Logic from his withers to hers.
[19:27] * Razor grunts a bit as Logic is moved from Purple_Kay's back to hers. It takes longer than it should to get used to the added weight. She takes a few experimental steps, to help get accustomed.
[19:32] * Purple_Kay bids a final farewell to Priest and heads out towards Megamart.

[19:33] * Proverb takes to the air above the group as they move out. She's /totally/ not looking at Harmony's flank. Nope, not at all!

[19:36] * Razor is definitely not feeling 100% well. She's not sure what happened. She hasn't taken her chems since before she was treated! She should be feeling better! All of these concerns are, of course, internal. Outwardly, she's muttering very rude and insulting remarks about Logic_Gates's weight.
[19:37] * Harmony chuckles as Proverb is hit by a bird, or duck.
[19:37] * Proverb sputters, turning her attention to the air in front of her and flying onwards.
[19:39] <TenMihara|GM>  The group heads out of Chapel back towards Megamart...
[19:40] <TenMihara|GM>  Proverb's missing eye prevents her from seeing something shiny
[19:41] * Proverb isn't a magpie anyway.
[19:43] <TenMihara|GM>  Harmony doesn't see anything shiny either.
[19:44] <TenMihara|GM>  Purple_Kay however, does catch a glint off of something shiny not too far from the group's position.
[19:44] * Purple_Kay stops and scruitinizes the shiny thing.
[19:44] * Purple_Kay "Something over there.."
[19:45] <TenMihara|GM>  Green_Field catchs sight of it too
[19:45] <TenMihara|GM>  The shiny thing isn't too far off, and seems to be half buried in the ground.
[19:45] * Green_Field begins walking to get a closer look.
[19:45] * Purple_Kay works his way toward it. Could be a mine, he's cautious.
[19:46] * Harmony follows Green_Field. She likes shiny things.
[19:46] * Green_Field stays next to PK as they walk.
[19:46] * Proverb watches from above, swooping after them.
[19:46] <TenMihara|GM>  The shiny thing turns out to be a piece of tin foil that has snagged on somethign stuck in the ground
[19:48] * Purple_Kay "Odd. Give me some space. Something about this doesn't seem right." He waits for them to move back a bit and carefully investigates it.
[19:48] * Razor is a little too busy carrying dead weight to be looking at possible mines. She keeps a fair distance back.
[19:48] * Harmony shrugs and moves back a little.
[19:48] * Proverb hovers above PK.
[19:49] <TenMihara|GM>  nudging aside the foil reveals the exposed corner of a safe buried in the ground. From the slight dip, it probably fell from somewhere.
[19:50] * Green_Field is more than happy to not be risked and hangs back.
[19:51] * Purple_Kay "Hey, Wishy! Your up! Crack this safe."
[19:52] <Proverb> "S-Safe?"
[19:52] * Proverb lands, looking at it curiously.
[19:53] <TenMihara|GM>  the safe's lock is not visible. It would probably have to be dug up first
[19:54] <Proverb> "Uhm, c-can you dig it u-up first please?"
[19:54] * Razor eyes Purple_Kay from afar
[19:55] * Purple_Kay looks to Doc Green. "You're up Doc. I'd dig it up, but, Doctor's orders."
[20:00] * Purple_Kay waves Razor up. "It's safe, Kid. It's /a/ safe."
[20:01] * Razor warily heads closer.
[20:01] <Green_Field> "I don't have a shovel. And, besides, if I do it I might damage my medical equipment by accident."
[20:02] * Harmony steps closer, wondering what could be inside!
[20:03] * Purple_Kay shrugs best that he is able and starts trying to exhume the safe.
[20:03] * Proverb attempts to help!
[20:05] * Green_Field quickly gets in Purple_Kay's way, "I was joking. You shouldn't strain yourself." And, takes his place digging it up.
[20:06] * Purple_Kay steps back beside Razor. HE leans over and whispers conspiritorially, "I could get used to being injured."
[20:09] * Green_Field hearing Purple_Kay, "knowing the two of you, you'll be injured a lot."
[20:09] * Proverb is helping dig the safe up! She isn't doing too much...
[20:10] * Razor tries to stifle a laugh, failing miserably
[20:10] <TenMihara|GM>  It takes a little while, but the safe is eventually unearthed.
[20:10] <Green_Field> "There, try it now."
[20:11] * Proverb nods, taking a look at the lock whilst she pulled out a screwdriver and a few bobbypins.
[20:12] <Proverb> "Well, h-here goes..." She attempts to pick the lock!
[20:14] <TenMihara|GM>  Proverb james the lock and snaps her Bobby pin
[20:14] <Proverb> "...FUCK!"
[20:14] * Proverb kicks the save, growling.
[20:14] * Logic_Gates blinks awake. Whuh?
[20:15] <Proverb> safe*
[20:15] <TenMihara|GM>  Proverb hurts her hoof. The safe has more DT than she does
[20:15] <Green_Field> "You're and explosives expert, right?"
[20:15] * Proverb doesn't seem to notice as she sits down and fumes.
[20:15] <Green_Field> To Purple_Kay
[20:16] <Proverb> "D-D-Damnit..."
[20:17] * Razor frowns, and glances at Purple_Kay. She hasn't noticed that Logic_Gates is awake yet.
[20:17] * Proverb whimpers softly.
[20:17] * Logic_Gates smells blood, sweat, and sweets. Razor? "Uh."
[20:18] * Harmony walks over and pat pats Proverb. "It's alright, Proverb..."
[20:19] * Purple_Kay "When in doubt, blow it up." He takes two 40mm grenades out.
[20:20] * Proverb snuffles.
[20:20] <Proverb> "S-S-Sorry..."
[20:20] * Green_Field gets back.
[20:21] * Razor 's ears flick as she hears Logic_Gates making noise. She turns her head to look at the dead weight on her back. "You're awake? Good!" She takes a few steps back, out of detonation range of the safe, then dumps Logic_Gates unceremoniously to the ground. "That means you can walk!"
[20:21] * Purple_Kay also gets out his tools. "So, I'm going to use the explosive charge out of the first grenade to try and breach the lock, I'm going to ignite it with a blackpowder trail. That should give me enough time to get back. Y'all should get back now."
[20:21] * Green_Field to Harmony and Proverb, "you'll want to get back too."
[20:22] * Harmony nods and gets back to a safe distance.
[20:22] * Proverb follows!
[20:22] * Logic_Gates remains quiet. Priest's stories do always make him sleep sounder than is probably good for him. "Sorry about that. Priest put me to sleep. Don't get up very easily after that." He got up and backed away a bit.
[20:23] * Razor gives a snort. "Just don't make a habit of it."
[20:24] * Logic_Gates nods. "I won't." He notes what exactly he's doing. "Cracking a safe?"
[20:25] * Purple_Kay prepares the explosive charge and blackpowder fuse, singing a jaunty tune. "This is the way we blow stuff up, that isn't me, that isn't me. This is the way we blow stuff up, early in the evening..."
[20:25] <TenMihara|GM>  Purple_Kay follows through on his careful use of disassembled grenades to blast the lock open. The result is a fairly neat and clean little explosion that blows out the lock
[20:25] * Proverb mumbles an apology again.
[20:26] <TenMihara|GM>  *Boom*
[20:27] * Purple_Kay smiles a bg dopey smile. "It's alright, Wishy. It was good for me." He trots over toward the safe.
[20:27] * Purple_Kay "Whaddaya think, enclave maybe? Safe falls out of one of their... cloud... thingies?"
[20:28] * Proverb eeps. "E-E-E-Enc-c-clave!?"
[20:28] * Proverb starts shaking.
[20:28] * Green_Field walks back up, "not sure. What's in it?"
[20:30] <TenMihara|GM>  as Green-Field walks back up to the safe, he can see a bit of purple liquid trickling out through the slightly open door.
[20:30] * Harmony moves to comfort Proverb, and gives her a light hug.
[20:31] * Green_Field takes a closer look at the liquid.
[20:32] <TenMihara|GM>  It looks like healing potion
[20:32] * Razor goes to investigate the safe as well.
[20:32] * Proverb clings to Harmony, shaking. She did not lik the Enclave. Nope nope!
[20:33] <Green_Field> "Shit!" He quickly takes out his empty booze bottle and puts in under the stream.
[20:34] <TenMihara|GM>  Green_Field should really know that, aside from the small specs of broke glass in the potion, mixing it with alcohol kills the potency
[20:36] * Razor gives Green_Field an odd look.
[20:36] * Logic_Gates attempts to open the door to the safe.
[20:37] * Green_Field looking at the mix that came out, "Damn, I didn't drink every drop, the color's off."
[20:39] <TenMihara|GM>  The door groans a little but swings open. The dregs of the healing potion pooled in the back corner of the safe, but the rest of the contents seem to be intact. Said contents include a sack of pre-war coins, a couple of spark batteries, and a laminated envelope.
[20:41] * Purple_Kay sits nearby, curious. "Well, lookie there. Some prewar coins to sell to your gamer buddy in Megamart, some batteries, and a mystery prize."
[20:41] * Razor snorts, disappointed. "That's it?"
[20:42] * Proverb slowly releases Harmony, making her way over to the safe. "Uhm, wh-wh-wh-what's i-i-in i-it?"
[20:42] * Harmony follows Proverb to the safe.
[20:43] * Green_Field looks longingly at the pooled liquid, so much for another free one.
[20:43] * Purple_Kay decides to reach in and open the envelope.
[20:43] * Logic_Gates slowly attempts float the laminated envelope out of the safe. Purple was on it, so, he simply opened it.
[20:44] <TenMihara|GM>  There appears to be something round at the tail end of the envelope, which rolls out as Purple_Kay opens it. A Memory Orb. There are a few regular documents, and a folded up larger piece of paper.
[20:45] * Purple_Kay reads through the papers since he can't do anything about the orb.
[20:46] * Razor eyes the orb, warily. She knows what that thing is.
[20:46] * Logic_Gates does decide to do something about the orb. "Mind if I take a look?" He said, motioning his horn to the thing.
[20:47] <TenMihara|GM>  The papers appear to be a transcript of a meeting between an executive of the Ministry of Technology and a Military Officer who's name and rank had been blacked out.
[20:47] * Purple_Kay "Let me look through these first. Would suck for you if it's a bad memory. Might be a clue in these."
[20:48] * Purple_Kay reads quickly, "Or it could be some old world military mumbo-jumbo. Knock yourself out, if you're curious."
[20:50] <TenMihara|GM>  The conversation as transcribed discusses the zebras use of swords with lightning gems in them as alternate weaponry for their elite Soldiers. While not necessarily as effective as a firearm outside the hooves/mouth of an expert, they have an effective intimidation effect as well. The Military pony approated the MWT to see if they could provide an Equestrian Alternative.
[20:51] * Purple_Kay rubs his chin... He's like to make one of those...
[20:52] * Proverb looks around a little nervously. "Uhm, p-perhaps we should k-keep moving..."
[20:52] * Razor eyes the pages over Purple_Kay's shoulder. The print is too small for her to read, and so many words at once just... sort of blends together to her eyes. She frowns. "What is it?"
[20:53] <TenMihara|GM>  However, the next page of documents say the idea was ultimately scrapped in favour of commiting gems to magical energy weapon development, with the other means of enhancing swords with lightning or fire being too bulky for the average soldier along with their usual equipment.
[20:54] * Logic_Gates puts the memory orb in his saddlebag. Later.
[20:54] * Harmony is disinterested with the letters, and sits, waiting to move on.
[20:54] <TenMihara|GM>  The larger, folded up sheet, was a proposed schematic for the non-magical fire sword, captioned 'Phoenix Talon'
[20:55] * Purple_Kay "Something about gem powered lightning swords.." He pages through a few more. "That's promising... but for later. Wishy is right, we should keep moving. Going to be getting dark before we reach Megamart at this rate."
[20:57] * Razor is interested now. She eyes the pages as Purple_Kay flips through again. "Lightning sword?"
[20:58] <Razor> again -> some more
[20:59] * Green_Field drops the bottle with diluted potion in the safe, "oh well, that's the way the shit settles."
[20:59] * Purple_Kay trots along with Razor alongside. "Ceased development, unfortunately. The zebras had them, but Equestria didn't figure out a magical sword of their own."
[21:00] * Green_Field starts walking off.
[21:00] * Proverb takes to the air again.
[21:00] * Harmony continues to walk.
[21:01] * Logic_Gates looks back and keeps walking.
[21:02] <TenMihara|GM>  With the detour, the group reaches Megamart just as the sun is setting. Or would be if you could actually see it for  the clouds.
[21:02] * Proverb thinks the clouds are stupid!
[21:03] * Logic_Gates furrowed his brow and motioned for the schematics when they arrived. "Need to see if the thing works."
[21:07] * Proverb lands as the reached the entrance.
[21:10] <TenMihara|GM>  Proverb spies the rake in her path this time
[21:10] * Purple_Kay looks to Logic_Gates. "Wouldn't selling the pre-war coins to your buddy be more interesting?"
[21:10] * Proverb walks /around/ the rake.
[21:10] * Logic_Gates gives him a blank look. "No."
[21:10] <TenMihara|GM>  The Rake's evil is twarted... for now.

[21:11] * Harmony hasn't been to Megamart before, so she follows Proverb, unsure of where to go otherwise.
[21:11] * Proverb does a Dramatic!Provy stare at the rake.
[21:11] * Razor sticks with Purple_Kay.
[21:11] * Purple_Kay yawns. "We should probably get rooms."
[21:12] <TenMihara|GM>  The rake catches on fire for some reason
[21:12] * Logic_Gates stares at Proverb. Then at the rake. And then he decided that the rake was better off leaned against the wall, anyway.

[21:12] * Proverb would giggle, but doesn't.
[21:13] <Proverb> "Uhm, M-Mister Kay... uhm... I d-don't actually h-h-have a r-room..."
[21:13] * Logic_Gates motions for the schematics. "It's okay. Use mine. I'm not sleeping tonight, anyway."
[21:14] <Proverb> "Uhm, wh-where's it a-a-at?"
[21:14] * Purple_Kay pops an eyebrow, then remembers she passed out in the bar both times they stayed overnight here. "Or you could get drunk and pass out in the bar again."
[21:15] * Harmony looks to Purple_Kay. "I have never been here... do they have rooms available for rent?"
[21:15] * Green_Field wishes he had the caps for that.
[21:15] <Proverb> "Uhm, y-y-you c-can st-t-tay with m-me if y-you want H-Harmony..."
[21:16] * Purple_Kay nods. "I'll show you the way. We'll get some rooms for everypony."
[21:16] * Logic_Gates nods at Proverb. "Security. I sleep there most of the time."
[21:18] * Harmony smiles to Proverb. "I would not be opposed. Thank you."
[21:19] * Purple_Kay leans over to Harmony as he passes by to get a room, and not give away the schematic. "Wary of cameras you two."

[21:23] * Purple_Kay gets an evil, cheeky grin. "Fine with cameras, ey? Get me a copy then." He trots off to get a room for he and Razor.
[21:23] * Harmony was not quite meaning that and blushes lightly.
[21:24] * Proverb squeaks. "N-N-N-N-Not th-th-th-th-that!"
[21:24] * Green_Field follows Purple_Kay.
[21:24] * Proverb stomps her little hoof for emphasis.
[21:24] * Purple_Kay brings a hoof to his cheek and pulls down, exposing his lower eyelid. He, meanwhile, sticks out his tongue.
[21:25] * Harmony sighs and looks to Proverb. "Regardless... where is the room?"
[21:25] <TenMihara|GM>  Purple_Kay falls flat on his face because his injured leg buckles wihtout the good one supporting it
[21:26] <Proverb> "Uhm... th-th-this w-w-way..."
[21:26] * Green_Field helps PK up.
[21:26] * Purple_Kay thuds to the ground, landing on his bad shoulder causes in to yelp.
[21:26] <Logic_Gates> The security room starts blasting out dubtrot. He's not patching it through the speaker system! He's learning!
[21:26] <TenMihara|GM>  Bottlecap grumbles inside her office nonetheless
[21:27] * Proverb heads for the Security room. She actually knows where it is, because she always ended up there when she got lost. She pauses outside the door at the very loud music though. "Uhm, p-p-perhaps w-weshould r-r-rent o-one a-a-anway..."
[21:27] * Purple_Kay lays there shaking a bit. The pain of landing with his whole weight on bare bone covered by a bit of cloth and some skingrafts is too much even for him.
[21:28] * Green_Field sighs rather loudly, "he take another." He then casts pain relief on Purple_Kay again.

[21:29] * Harmony follows Proverb and purses her lips, nodding. "I agree... Security cameras as we sleep seems... disconcerting..."
[21:29] * Razor snerks. "Nice one... Next time try to remember to keep your hooves on the ground!" She's grinning wide.
[21:29] * Purple_Kay stops quaking. Grumbling he gets to his hooves. "Karma's a bitch."
[21:29] <Green_Field> "Indeed."
[21:30] * Purple_Kay "Still. Was pretty worth it. Want to hit the bar before hitting the hay?"
[21:30] <Green_Field> "Love to, but no money."
[21:31] * Proverb nods. "Uhm, y-yeah..." She turns, and heads to where Purple_Kay and Razor had gone to get their own room.
[21:31] * Purple_Kay looks between Doc Green and Razor. "I can spare a drink's worth. A round and then to bed!"
[21:32] * Harmony follows Proverb.
[21:32] <Green_Field> "I knew you were the right group to join."
[21:33] * Razor keeps grinning. "Alright, let's go then!"
[21:34] <TenMihara|GM>  The group drinks, has a bit of merriment and then goes to bed.
