  10. Appearance:
  11. Extremely tall and fit, Lux is an olive-skinned individual, who wears a loose-fitting, long-sleeved, red shirt with a red paisley pattern. Over this, he wears a black pleather vest; while his shirt is usually unbuttoned, he keeps his vest tied together, resulting in a large portion of his shirt hanging around his waist. Around his neck, a necklace made of rose pink crystal spheres, with an especially heavy one at the end, sits, almost like a rosary. Lux has a bony face, with a tall nose, bushy eyebrows, and a confident smile, though his most striking feature is his hair – dyed red, he has a horseshoe mustache which extends far below his face, just about reaching his chest, and to add to the absurdity of it, he has a tall Mohawk as well. He pairs this with sunglasses covering his green eyes, giving him an air of confidence and demanding respect, despite his absurd dress. He wears torn leather jeans, with a loose-fitting, oversized white belt sitting on his hips, and has a pair of red & white sneakers, with blue check marks on the side of them. On his left hand, he wears a fingerless leather glove, and on his right wrist he wears three gold arm bands, and from his left ear, a large gold ring can be seen hanging.

  13. Powers and Abilities:
  14. - Psycho Power
  15. As a psychic, Lux is capable of using various psionic abilities, referred to as Psycho Power, which allow him to perform a wide range of techniques. This makes him quite a balanced character, capable of fending for himself as he needs to; however, at the same time, his skills require focus, which mainly means he cannot use any of these abilities at once, and usually it prevents him from performing other actions while using them. Examples of his psychic powers include:
  16. Psycho Kinesis – Using telekinesis, Lux can lift fairly large objects, lifting and moving them within 50 feet of his body (though nothing more). While using telekinesis on other characters or objects that are two times his size, Lux cannot use his other abilities, meaning he must focus entirely on this, regardless of the size of the object he’s using telekinesis on. In the case of other characters, if their Strength is at least the same as Lux’s Projection, they can fight to get out of the telekinesis; the amount of fighting they need to get out, as well as how long they must do so, is entirely up to the DM.
  17. Psycho Blast – Focusing his mind, Lux can choose to deal Mental damage to enemies. This can be focused on one enemy to deal a large amount of Mental damage, or spread across a large group of nearby enemies. Mental damage differs from regular damage, in that it cannot be healed with regular healing skills, and is likely to mess with a character’s senses, such as sight or balance.
  18. Psycho Recover – Lux relaxes himself, allowing him to heal his health, both physically and mentally. Due to the power of this cleansing ability, Lux also heals any ailments inflicted on him when he uses this skill. However, while using Psycho Recover, Lux is unable to perform any other actions, so it is recommended to use this when he’s protected.
  19. Psycho Barrier – Lux can create a special, light yellow barrier around himself and any allies, which raises the Toughness stat of Lux & his allies by one star, or focus the barrier on himself only, raising his Toughness by three stars. The barrier also has the effect of preventing the secondary effects of moves from activating, provided they require contact, which can help him & his allies to avoid nastier than usual wounds and status ailments; in the event of multi-hit attacks, each part of the attack will be treated as a separate attack. Putting up the barrier requires Lux’s focus, regardless of whether he’s using it on just himself or his allies, and it has one turn of cooldown after use.
  20. Psycho Flight – Lux may use a special, psionic form of flight, which grants him freedom of movement for three turns after being activated, provided he doesn’t choose to cut it off himself or is forcefully knocked down. After these three turns, Lux is forced to return to earth.
  21. Psycho Scan – Lux can attempt to mentally read his opponent, granting him some information about their weaknesses, resistances, as well as potentially learning what they’re thinking to do for their next action, allowing him to attempt to predict his opponent. Psycho Scan requires dedicating a turn to it, and the success is determined by the mental resistance of the opponent; the DM may control what information is given. As a passive variant of this, Lux is also capable of detecting paranormal entities, such as ghosts or demons, who are in hiding with this ability; this is especially important, due to generally having a weakness to these sorts of beings.
  22. Psycho Sword – Wielding a psychic weapon, the Psycho Sword, Lux is capable of fighting much like someone with a long sword might. The sword has some range, but thanks to it being a mental projection, Lux can actually increase the size of the sword by focusing on the weapon, which will also make it so the attack’s power is around one star higher than his actual Strength stat. However, doing this prevents him from using his other abilities in the meantime.

  34. Standard Equipment:
  35. Crystal Ball – What looks like a rather goofy, huge crystal ball on a necklace, is actually a really powerful device that’s in the shape of a goofy, huge crystal ball on a necklace. Much like any fortune teller, Lux may use this crystal ball to look at where a character’s future may go, accurate up to two turns (it is up to the DM to decide what information Lux can learn in this way). He can also use it to create a map of up to 200 meters around him, via... some method. Psycho Sonar, perhaps?
  36. Psycho Sword – Although technically more a part of Lux’s power, Psycho Energy, this is also a weapon that he has trained himself in. Acting like a physical sword, and taking the shape of a longsword, Lux may use it much like how one might use a longsword, with the advantage of being able to summon & dismiss it as he needs.
  37. Basic Backpack – Exactly what it sounds like. Allows Lux to carry a few necessities for travel, such as a sleeping bag and food, as well as any small items he happens to find on his travels.

  39. NOTES:
  40. ~ A “secondary effect” is defined as being an extra effect of an attack that doesn’t deal direct damage; a prime example of this is a Toxin-based attack that poisons the target. The attack will still deal Toxin damage like before, but the secondary effect of poisoning the opponent will fail.
  41. ~ A turn refers to the time take during a player’s post, while a round refers to a period of time, which starts when the player posts and lasts until they must post again. As a result, in larger RPs it’s possible for effects based on rounds to last longer, or for cooldowns to take longer.
