Your name is Zora Bielawar.

It’s quiet. It’s dark. It’s always dark here, you realize. The fog seals out light. She mentioned her mission was maybe to lift the fog and find a new way to see.

She won’t be doing a lot of seeing now.

Somehow, you remember finding her in your world. You hadn’t gotten pestered by her in a while and figured she was just trying to game the system, or out exploring, or anything. When you found her lying against that rock, you didn’t think the worst, you were just happy to see your sister again.

You ran toward her. You were going to give her the biggest hug, and maybe you could team up to get through this together.

You didn’t know what you were expecting, but it wasn’t this.

Her eyes were gone when you found her and a stab wound through her chest. No words would come to you, as you stared down upon her.

Here. Your sister.

Dead.

Maybe the only family member you had left, your only company besides your cat and your fox. She was your best friend, your shoulder. Your moirail, if we want to get into that.

And she was gone.

You felt a hand on your shoulder. “It’s not your fault.”

You didn’t have words for him. You had words for no one.

Click.

Boom.

You fire a shot and hear a scream in the distance. Probably an imp or something. You don’t care.

Something in the back of your mind told you there was a place you needed to take her. So you picked her up and just walked.

It was certainly not an easy task to find that place. As soon as you arrived in her world, as much looking as it took, it was dark. Black. The fog sealed out all light. You had to alchemize your glasses to be able to see anything. You made your way through dark ruins and nightmarish abysses. But you found it. A dark blue bed, at the top of a peak.

The whole time you walked, you remembered all the times you shared with her. Family outings with your mothers. Countless video games. How she always tried to challenge you to keep you sharp. How you continually had to motivate her to keep going on her music. Meeting your friends, all five of them, and developing injokes, having laughs, the occasional live stream… Finding Sburb and her thinking you were dead when she brought you into the medium.

Times you’ll never have back.

You lay her down on the bed and turn your back. You feel the energy swirl inside you. The rage. The urge for revenge. You feel yourself exude it, and a smile cracks across your face through the tears… though perhaps not a smile of happiness.

You feel forces grabbing at you but right now, you don’t feel like they’re necessarily bad forces.

You hear dark voices whisper to you.
