Adeva-Duabi Session 22

Today Friday 31 of October, you are right now in class, early in the morning and just starting out the day. The bell ring and everything goes on as always, Nika comes in, complains about his job for about 5 minutes and starts teaching the class.
Surprisingly Hana is starting to understand what is going on the class, something that would be pretty weird, the concentration would be interrupted by a loud knock and the door opening, a girl of about 16 enters the room.

Nika Kuznetsov stops looking at the blackboard for a second to look at the girl, a black haired, tall girl, that walked in, he stopped and said "Today we have a new student on board..." he quickly confused "Let me present..."

Billy looks up from his notebook, startled

Deja : "Deja" She quickly interrupting the professor " I am Deja Abbot" after she said

Hana Song shook her leg up and down impatiently, giving a passing glance at the new student before going back to trying to focus on writing down the information on the board.

Warren Novak glances up at the new student, looking them over quickly, before turning back to staring off into space and waiting for class to end.
Warren, thinks that name reminds him of something, he isn't really sure what, but it is probably not important at all.
Karine: "Hey, Don't interrupt the teacher!" she exclaimed as Deja introduced herself
Hana Song: "Karine, don't yell at the new student like that." She scolded somewhat apathetically.
Consttanze Königsmann: "Yes, Don't be rude!" she said as she stood up and pointed at Karine

Hana Song gives a disappointed look at Consttanze, "You know better than to do that."
Consttanze Königsmann: "Yeah I could do better " she said as she started to walk to Karine, before being interrupted by Nika.

Nasir Salah rolls his eyes at the class's shenanigans. And he's the fucking troublemaker around here.
Nika Kuznetsov: "Consttanze, Sit, Deja... You could sit with " He said while looking around the classroom " Oh.. Next to Warren, I wonder why no one sits with him." he said as he turned around to the blackboard.
Warren Novak: Warren gives a dull "Huh?" as the teacher says his name.

Hana Song blinks. She sits next to him. Does she not exist or something?

Karine shuts up and continues to look at the teacher, he doesn't even have a book out.

Billy Allen never even considered where he was sitting

Javier sits with Billy

Hana Song watches the girl walk to her seat. She leans over and talks past Warren, "Hey, I'm Hana. " She introduces herself.

Billy looks at his notebook while trying to discretely listen in on the conversation going on behind him

Deja looks at Hana for some seconds "Hello, I am Deja. Fir-... Deja Abbot." She coughed a bit, "Nice to meet you."

Hana Song nods, "Likewise. So where did you move from?"
Deja : "I Am from ...Err.. Neo New York." she said "I am from America... well What is left of it."

Javier he whispered to Billy "You shouldn't listen to others conversations,"
Hana Song: "I see, well, hopefully you'll enjoy it here." She gives a smile, "Or you would if you didn't have to sit next to this one." She motions towards Warren.

Billy Allen looks at Javier
Warren Novak: "Hey, what's that supposed to mean?" Warren asks, glancing over at Hana.

Hana Song grins, "Pretty much exactly what I said."
Billy Allen: "What do you mean? What makes you think that I'm listening to other people's conversations?"
Deja : "Oh I wouldn't worry at all " she said as she laughed.

Hana Song chuckles, "I'm mostly joking. Just ignore him sometimes and he's tolerable."
Warren Novak: "You only ignore me sometimes? I gotta step up my game."
Javier: "No, I didn't imply that, Why would I do that." he said as he shrugged.
Deja : "Yes. I guess he is easy to ignore" she said jokingly "So, what are you going to do tonight?"
Warren Novak: "Hmmm? What do you mean?"

Hana Song ponders for a moment, "Erm... nothing, I don't think? This is my first Halloween that I can actually spend doing fun things, but I spent so much time making sure my costume was perfect that I forgot o make any plans..."
Warren Novak: "Wait... Halloween? Is it that time already? Hold on... Do they even celebrate that in Dubai?"
Deja : "Mine too!, First time too." she said laughing
Javier: "I wasn't listening to the conversation, But Dubai being a tourist center, pretty much celebrates Halloween in parties." he quickly turns around again, after finishing his exposition.

Hana Song leans back in her chair, "I wonder if Consttanze or Maria's planning anything. Remind me to go ask one of them," She tells Warren.

Billy Allen tries not to laugh
Warren Novak: "Thank you, Mr. Peeping Tom." Warren says, nodding at Javier.
Deja : "Hmmm, Maybe they are. whoever they are " she said as she crossed her arms.
Maria Sanders: "I am like, Right here, you could just ask" she said as she turned around
"And by chance, Yes I have plans ."

Hana Song blinks, "Oh, right! Sorry, I forgot you're right in front of me." She laughs as she rubs the back of her head, "Private things or things that are open for other people as well?"
Maria Sanders: "Well, I could ... make you enter " she winked "If you know what I mean."

Hana Song stares at her, "I don't."

Maria Sanders looks a bit annoyed "I am gonna.. MAKE.. you enter " she exclaimed "Like, not really totally legal."

Nasir Salah stops his general activity of not paying attention in the most show-offy way possible on the mention of not entirely legal things.
Nasir Salah: "Wait, what?"
Warren Novak: "...What kind of parties are you going to that you need to sneak people in?"

Maria Sanders smiles "Cool parties."

Hana Song tilts her head slightly, "I might need more of an explanation. What's a 'cool party'?"

Warren Novak quirks a brow at Maria. "Does your dad know about this?"
Deja : "That sounds fun, You should try lighting up Warren " she said smiling.
Maria Sanders: "My Dad doesn't know a lot of things "
Warren Novak: "I thought so..." Warren says with a shake of his head, before glancing at the new girl. "I don't need to lighten up. I'll have you know, I'm the life of the party."

Hana Song gives an uneasy look towards Warren before looking back at Maria, "What... kind of things?"
Maria Sanders: "Err... Why are you ...Err... Forget about it." she said as she turned back to her seat.
Warren Novak: "Brilliant. You hid that really well. None of us suspect a thing."
Maria Sanders: "Suspect what" She said as she shrugged "I Am totally not doing anything today."
Warren Novak: "Of course, and we all believe you too."

Hana Song hung her shoulders in disappointment while letting out an "Aww...".
Deja : "Is this normal? " she said as she looked around the room.

Nasir Salah leans in to whisper to Maria. "So where that party at?" Not that he plans to drop in there whether invited or not. Nope.

Warren Novak shrugs. "I suppose. The teacher doesn't seem to care too much himself, so..." Warren simply trails off at that.
Hana Song: "Normal for us? Yeah, pretty much."

Nika Kuznetsov continues with the lesson, Without really watching the class

Billy Allen wonders for a brief moment what the lesson is even about

Billy Allen questions if they've even learned anything in this class, for that matter
Maria Sanders: "lets talk later, full of party poopers " She said as she leaned back "I am not going to any party anyways."

Hana Song ponders something for a moment, "Warren, are we lame?"
Warren Novak: "Maybe you are, but I'm radical."
Hana Song: "I'm not even cooler than Warren? This is terrible..."
Deja : "Well, he is not a high roller." she said as she finally after like 10 minutes of talking took her book from her backpack

Warren Novak blinks dimly for a moment, before something seems to dawn on him, and he glances back at Deja. "And what does that mean?"
Deja : "Oh.. You know what it means " she says as she winks at you

Hana Song looks between Deja and Warren before whispering to Warren, "Is... is she hitting on you?"

Warren Novak looks back at Hana, and gives a rough, "No," a little more abrasive than usual, even for just a single word.
Deja : "What....? " she turns red for a second "I would never do that, Not on Warren, he is terrible at everything."

Hana Song shrugs, "Yeah, that is true." It takes her a moment to realize, "Wait, how do you know that?"

Deja starts to breath deeply for a second "I don't, I guessed correctly."
Hana Song: "Yeah, he just gives off that feeling of incompetence, doesn't he?"
Deja : "Yeah!" she said as she nodded her head "He can't even play card games" she gloated

Hana Song looks at Warren, "Can't he? He plays with them from time to time."
Hana Song: "... Wait, did you guess that as well?"

Billy Allen turns around to look at deja for a moment, surprised, before quickly turning back to his notebook
Deja : "Yes." she said. "Lets stop talking about loser Warren" she said as she turned back to the blackboard.

Hana Song scratches her head in bewilderment, "That's suspicious." She comments to herself.
Warren Novak: "It's because she knows me Hana..." Warren says, eyeing Deja over once again, differently this time, as if sizing her up. "I'd almost forgotten you... Maybe that says something about you."
Hana Song: "Wait, really? Another of your girlfriends?"
Warren Novak: "As if."
Deja : "Oh you remember now, thought you were trying to play dumb" she said as she crossed her arms "I don't think he would be able to get a Girl friend." she said with a smile.
"Unless she was bat shit insane."
Hana Song: "Oh you'd be surprised. Actually quite a sweet girl, as it turns out. They broke up and she hates him now, but it lasted for some time."
Warren Novak: "Why the hell are you here anyways?" Warren asks, ignoring Deja's remarks. "Did they finally kick you out?"

Hana Song stops talking for a moment, "Oh my god, this is the perfect flag for a dramatic retelling of someone's backstory!" She looks between Deja and Warren before stopping on Deja, "Quick, tell me everything, what was Renny like when he was young?"
Deja: "Oh... Renny? " she laughs "Well let me tell you about Renny, he was the smallest, the worst of his class." she said with a smirk "Always losing to everyone on everything, he got lucky and now he is in Dubai, and there he ends."

Warren Novak: "Yea, and you were such a charmer yourself. You're still avoiding the question. Why are you here?"

Hana Song rubs her chin, "Interesting... Warren, stop insulting her already. We want to make her feel comfortable. Actually, just stop talking altogether."

Warren Novak turns to glare at Hana, for once, instead of ambivalence on his face, there is actual emotion. Anger. "Hana. Shut up."
Deja : "I am your replacement." She said " Well, more like I am on stand by until you meet an early grave."

Hana Song looks over Warren, "No. You can either lighten up and stop being such a dick or suck it up like a man."
Warren Novak: "Hana, for fucking once, I am being serious about this. Shut. Up."

Hana Song stares at him, starting to get a little pissed herself at Warren thinking he can tell her what to do, "No, I will not."
Deja : "Always such a charmer, isn't he?" she laughs again.

Nasir Salah is meanwhile blatantly listening in. You'd almost think he's daring someone to stop him.

Warren Novak twitches, as he curls his hands up into fists. He looks at Hana, then at Deja, and then finally at the rest of the class. He takes in a deep breath before finally standing up and simply walking out of the class, the door slamming shut behind him.
Deja : "He mad."

Hana Song looks back towards Deja, perhaps it's seeing a cute girl laughing, but Hana seems to calm down just a bit. She watches Warren leave the classroom, "The hell is his problem?"

Nasir Salah follows Warren, curious as to what the shit. But then, HIM leaving isn't as surprising.
Deja : "I know right" he said as she looked at the door "You either get a thicker skin or continue being the worst."

Billy Allen quickly gets up and runs after them
Billy Allen: "Come on guys, why'd you just get up and leave like that?"

Caterina Gavrilovic looks at both Warren, and Nasir leaving, but stays there because she is an individualist.

Hana Song stays there, considering whether or not she should follow the trio. "Fuck it, if I followed, I'd probably just end up hitting him." She tells herself. "So is there a reason he got so angry about that stuff?"

Warren Novak walks the hall for a moment, turning into the boy's restroom, where he stands for a minute, before letting out a long sigh and rinsing his face in the sink. He blinks as he sees blood in the water, rubbing his nose. He curses quietly under his breath before reaching into his pocket and taking out a bottle of pills, taking one out and downing it.

Nasir Salah makes his presence known with a simple question. "So... what the shit?"

Billy Allen follows Warren into the bathroom
Billy Allen: "Hey, are you alright?"
Deja : "Why, because he haves a thin skin, When you are a part of the program, there is no room for weakness." she says as she looks to the front "It only matters being the best." you can almost feel a lot of hate suddenly emanating from her. after a few moments she calms down "Anyways. Class is still on."

Warren Novak goes still, glancing back at Nasir and Billy out of the corner of his eye. "So you two were listening in then?" he asks, before returning the bottle to his pocket and shutting off the water.
Nasir Salah: "Yep."
Warren Novak: "Well, if you couldn't guess, we have a history."
Nasir Salah: "Bad one, sounded like."

Warren Novak gives out a dry laugh. "Hah, you think?"
Billy Allen: "Still, why'd you just run away like that? What's wrong?"
Warren Novak: "I couldn't take both of Deja's fucking pestering and Hana being an oblivious bitch at the same time. Figured I ought to get out before anything happened."
Billy Allen: "What do you mean? What was going to happen?"

Hana Song frowns, leaning back into her chair, "You know, there's no point in being the best if you step on everyone below you." She sighs as she talks quieter, "If you're here to replace one of us in case the worst happens, how do you plan to work with Warren with that kind of mentality. This isn't something you can do alone."
Warren Novak: "I was probably going to punch somebody. When you get mad, you wanna hit something. It's pretty simple logic there, Billy."
Deja : "I am not here to work with Warren. I am here to correct a mistake." she said as she crossed her arms "When you are weak you are nothing, He shouldn't even be here in the first place."
Billy Allen: "Still..."

Billy Allen sighs, confusion evident in his facial expression
Hana Song: "Renny has proved time after time that he is capable of amazing things. If there's been a mistake, I'm not sure what it could be."

Warren Novak crinkles his nose, giving a snort and rubbing at it. "Well, did either of you have anything else to say, or is this interrogation over now?"
Nasir Salah: "Pfft, man, this is no interrogation. I'm just curious and making sure you're alright."
Warren Novak: "Well, I'm fine. She just... Caught me by surprise. I won't let her get to me so easy anymore."
Nasir Salah: "Alright, good. You need help, though, lemme know."
Deja : "I wouldn't be able to believe that. He couldn't even hit the side of a barn, with a gun the size of motel."
Billy Allen: "Is there any way that I can help you, er... get back at her?"
Warren Novak: "Heh, after the whole Karine thing... Nah..." Warren shakes his head. "I can deal with this on my own. I dealt with her for years since before I met either of you. It's no big deal."
Hana Song: "Well, he typically uses a hammer, so I suppose that could still be true."
Billy Allen: "You sure?"

Nasir Salah raises his brow. "After the Karine thing? The way I remember, I did great on that."
Deja : "Anyways, he is a baby, he went away, crying back. probably to his superior." she claimed "Once a loser, always one."
Warren Novak: "Different objectives, I suppose." Warren says in response to Nasir. "Anyways, yes I'm fine. I'm going to go for a walk now though, if you don't mind."
Nasir Salah: "Yeah, sure." And with that, Nasir goes back to the class. For now. And he might leave again later. Because he's a rebel like that.

Hana Song frowns, "I think I get it now. Look, I may not have had to do this before, but I will protect Warren no matter what. I may not have handled the situation well a few moments ago, but my point still stands," She tries to give a serious look, "I'd prefer it if you didn't insult Warren like that."

Warren Novak nods and walks out of the bathroom, then out of the school, planning on simply walking home.

Billy Allen takes a few steps after Warren.
Billy Allen: "I take it you want to be alone?
Warren Novak: "It'd be nice, yes."
Billy Allen: "Okay..."

Billy Allen pauses for a moment

Deja looks to the front, "If you protect him, he will always be a the big baby he is, but well, it is your choice."
Billy Allen: "Well, um, I... you know, you've helped me a lot in the past, and if, uh, you want to...talk to someone, I can try to, well, you know, return the favour?"

Hana Song shrugs, "It's what I do. Or, well, try to do at least when I'm not pissing him off."

Billy Allen puts his hand to his face
Billy Allen: "Sorry, that didn't come out right..."

Warren Novak: "Look, I get what you mean, alright? It's fine. This isn't the first time I've dealt with her."

Deja shrugs
Billy Allen: "Okay..."

Billy Allen looks down

Hana Song mumbles to herself, "Who would've thought that Warren would have the 'bullied' archetype?"

Nasir Salah walks back into the class and takes his seat again as if his sudden departure was nothing special. Probably because it wasn't.

Hana Song glances back towards Deja, "So... Any chance we can still be friends?"

Billy Allen walks slowly and quietly back into class and into his seat
Deja : "I don't need friends. " she said as she looked forward.
Everything continued as always, the only difference was that Warren didn't come back, a little hell move into Dubai.
