  1. [b]Associative tell[/b] - A tell that indicates that a player has associations with somebody else.
  2. [b]AtE[/b] - Appeal to emotion. Alternatively, pathos.
  3. [b]Bandwagon[/b] - A situation in which many players start to vote for the bandwagoned person's lynch.
  4. [b]Bussing[/b] - A situation in which a scum player throws their partner under the bus to look less suspicious. EX: X and Y are both mafia. X accuses Y of being mafia so that when Y flips, X will look like a townie.
  5. [b]Counterclaim[/b] - A claim that counters or contradicts another person's claim.
  6. [b]D#[/b] - Day #.
  7. [b]EBWOP[/b] - Edit by way of post, used when double posting to correct an error in a previous post. Usually when editing is disallowed.
  8. [b]EotD / DP / EoD[/b] - End of the Day Post, used to summarize a day's events in a game.
  9. [b]FoS / HoS[/b] - Finger of suspicion OR hand of suspicion, used to express suspicion towards another player.
  10. GM - Game Master a.k.a. the host of a mafia game.
  11. [b]Hammer[/b] - The last vote needed to lynch a player. Only used with majority lynches.
  12. [b]Hardclaim[/b] - A blatant statement that explicitly reveals your role. Ex: "I am cop!"
  13. [b]L-#[/b] - The situation in which a player is # votes away from being lynched. Only used in majority lynches.
  14. [b]Lurking[/b] - A situation in which a player follows and reads the thread, but rarely posts.
  15. [b]LyLo[/b] - Lynch or lose. The state where the town MUST lynch scum or they will lose.
  16. [b]Majority lynch[/b] - A type of game mechanism which only requires a majority to be reached before the player is lynched. Compare to plurality lynch.
  17. [b]Metagaming[/b] - A situation in which somebody uses external methods to win the game, such as looking at a player's past games in order to determine if their behaviour in the current game matches their behaviour in a game where they were scum or town.
  18. [b]Mislynch[/b] - The situation in which a townie is lynched instead of scum.
  19. [b]MyLo[/b] - Mislynch or Lose. Similar to LyLo, but the town may safely nolynch and still win. [b]However, if they mislynch, they will lose.
  20. N#[/b] - Night #.
  21. [b]NK[/b] - Night kill.
  22. [b]Nolynch[/b] - The situation in which no lynch occurs, whether by vote or by failure to reach the lynch requirements.
  23. [b]OMGUS[/b] - OH MY GOD YOU SUCK. Used when somebody accuses the player that accused them simply because they were accused by that player.
  24. [b]PR[/b] - Power role. Any role that has an ability.
  25. [b]Plurality lynch[/b] - A type of game mechanism which lynches players based on how many votes they have. It does not have to be majority. Compare to majority lynch.
  26. [b]PoE[/b] - Process of elimination.
  27. [b]RP[/b] - Roleplay. Involves creative writing.
  28. [b]Read[/b] - An impression of a player on whether they are scum or not. Usages include scumread and townread.
  29. [b]Scum[/b] - Any player who has an anti-town wincon.
  30. [b]Scumhunting[/b] - The process of figuring out who is scum and who is not.
  31. [b]Sheeping [/b]- A situation in which somebody follows another person's lead without providing their own thoughts. This can apply to votes as well as opinions.
  32. [b]Softclaim[/b] - A hint to your role. Ex: "I have evidence that she's scum!"
  33. [b]Sub[/b] - Substitute players or replacements.
  34. [b]Tell[/b] - Something that indicates somebody's alignment. Usages include scumtell and towntell.
  35. [b]Towncred[/b] - Town credibility. This is the measure of how much the town trusts you.
  36. [b]Tunneling[/b] - A situation in which somebody is so convinced that a player is scum that they begin to ignore other players to continue pushing on the player that they are scumreading.
  37. [b]WIFOM[/b] - Wine in front of me. "Reverse psychology" or using circular reasoning.
  38. [b]Wincon[/b] - Winning condition. What you need to do to win the game. Usually different per faction.
