  1. [16:51] IcePickLobotomy A few slivers of pale moon light sneak past the gaps in the trees, less lightening and more contrasting the darkness of the jungle. The air is heavy with moisture, and cool in the darkness of the night. Fronds, vines, and wide leaves damp with water surround you. A low blue glow permeates around many of the plants from the bio-luminescent vein's that run along the length of so many of them....
  2. [16:51] IcePickLobotomy ...The jungle teems with life, the low buzz of insects, the chirping of birds, and other, stranger, noises
  3. [16:55] IcePickLobotomy The foliage is rather thick, you can see perhaps 30 or so feet. Though there is a rough trail not to far from where you are standing
  4. [16:57] RobinE sees the trail as a better option than standing there. She heads for it.
  5. [16:57] IcePickLobotomy Slowly is snakes downward. You can see through a few gaps in the foliage, you are heading into a valley.
  6. [16:58] RobinE continues onward, but stops periodically to listen.
  7. [16:59] IcePickLobotomy Bird song, insects. Somewhere in the distance . . a melody. One that you feel withing yourself more than you hear it. It's familiar, reassuring.
  8. [16:59] RobinE "hmm?"
  9. [17:00] IcePickLobotomy It fades into the background. . .
  10. [17:00] RobinE tries to listen for it again.
  11. [17:06] IcePickLobotomy You hear it again. A wordless melody. The whispers of the trees, the hum of the insects, animal's cry and birdsong. . . All of it carries a underlying tune, each only capturing a part of the greater whole. But you? You hear it in full. Something of utter sheer inhuman beauty that it |hurts| . You slip into it, like slipping into a pool of water. Your flesh and blood joins, calling out to it...
  12. [17:06] IcePickLobotomy ...in ecstatic agony, as a infinitely small part in something so far beyond yourself. . .
  13. [17:15] IcePickLobotomy You wake up covered in sweet, a faint ache in side your chest and head. You. . . You remember a sense of familiarity, something bigger than yourself. The feel of purple, of. . . of her. She slumbers, she dreams. She waits.
  14. [17:16] RobinE looks around.
  15. [17:16] IcePickLobotomy You are in your room. The half-full moon hangs above the ocean, sending streams of pale light into your room.
  16. [17:17] RobinE takes a deep breath and tries to piece anything she can together in her head.
  17. [17:18] IcePickLobotomy Fragments and snippets. The only other thing you remember is this. You remember strange vistas and starless skies.
  18. [17:19] RobinE goes to her footlocker and gets her notebook. In the back page she writes 'Strange vistas, Starless Skies.'
  19. [17:21] RobinE puts the notebook back and locks up the footlocker. Then she looks at the time.
  20. [17:21] IcePickLobotomy 3:23am
  21. [17:21] RobinE shakes her head and goes back to bed to at least /try/ to sleep.
  22. [17:22] IcePickLobotomy You find sleep soon enough, though it is restless.
