So I’m making an AU for MLP that I call “Dreariquestria” (Name super subject to change)

It’s a world where instead of friendship, it has misery, depression, anxiety, etc.

The Elements of Harmony are replaced by “The Six” and they all represent horrible things that cause misery.

It’s still in a very WIP phase. I’d call it Alpha 0.3 right now.

I’ve basically just got the character profiles for the Mane Six, AKA: The Six

Dull Sheen (Twilight Sparkle) represents Abandonment. She was left to be eaten by a dragon by her parents when she was a baby. She beat the dragon into submission with her magic after being burned by its fire breath. She now carries a candelabra and is searching for the whereabouts of her parents, so she can kill them. Or find out why they abandoned her. One of the two. Her theory is they knew how powerful she was and feared her. She likes to believe that theory.

Kindlefang (Spike) is Dull Sheen’s slave, the dragon she was fed to as a babe. He’s like an attack dog.

Scarlet Haze (Pinkie Pie) represents Isolation. She’s an alchemist, and spends most of her time brewing poisons. She also wears a gas mask and uses gas-based weapons or alchemy bombs.

Loss (Rarity) represents Thievery. She’s a highwayman. She makes ends meet. Just like any man. She works with her hands. You cross her path, she’ll knock you out, middle’a the road, steal your shoes from off your feet. She’s the highwayman, and she makes ends meet. She also has a whip. Loss probably isn’t her real name.

Captain Long Shot (Rainbow Dash) represents Treachery. She’s a pirate, and a conquerer. She invades lands, pillages, plunders, the likes. Her crews also always tend to mysteriously vanish on the high seas. She uses pistols and swords.

Ambrose Jane (Applejack) represents Deception. She’s a gambler, a liar, a cheater. She’s never made an honest coin in her entire life, and she’s never told an honest word. She says what she needs to say to get her way. She uses her boots as weapons. Or her fists.

Scuttlebug (Fluttershy) represents Cruelty. She’s a scientist who does horrible experiments on animals and creates horrible The Thing-like monsters in her attempts to create an ultimate being. She’s completely and utterly soulless and has no empathy or love for any creature.

All the names are pretty WIP still, but that’s pretty much what I got. It’s probably gonna take place in the EQG AU, so all of them are human rather than pones. Might make them Humponies so they have pony ears. Probly gonna sketch them all out later today.

The universe is in a sort of Dishonored time period. Maybe Bioshock. Kinda Victorian with some modern technology mixed in.
