Scimitar Crystalmage (Dark Souls Any%)

This is a Scimitar and Sorcery route I just created. It doesn't use Sen's Gate Skip. Which means killing Taurus Demon, Gargoyles, and Quelaag before Sen's Fortress. It does use Duke Skip, Seal Skip, Lower Undead Burg Skip, and also the Chaos Shortcut, among other techniques. Use RTSR for some boss fights, dupe Homeward Bones and boss souls when necessary, even if the notes don't specify that you need to do so. You want 50 Int, 19 Attunement, and 16 Vitality by the end. Any other levels can and should go to Endurance. Priority is Int first except when the route notes specify otherwise.

Start Wanderer, Master Key

Asylum
- Pick up Scimitar and Shield, equip, Asylum Demon, pick up small soul after

Firelink Shrine
- Rest at bonfire for extra Estus
- Pick up Firebombs

Undead Burg
- Pop the small soul as you wait for the Hellkite Drake to get out of your way
- Run to Undead Merchant and buy Short Bow, Heater Shield, and 16 Standard Arrows
- Kill the Merchant with 3 Firebombs for the Residence Key (you don't need the Uchigatana)
- Use LUB Skip near the Merchant, equip Heater Shield, Short Bow, Arrows on ladder
- Rescue Griggs
- Pick up Gold Pine Resin
- Kill Taurus Demon using a Resin and the Scimitar
- Run to midpoint of bridge, dodging Hellkite Drake's Fire Breath
- Switch to Short Bow and kill the Crossbowman
- Shoot the Drake, switch to Scimitar, use a Resin, cut the tail for the Drake Sword

Undead Parish
- Open the gate
- Run up the stairs before the gate that closes, get through the gate before it closes
- Send the Elevator down, but don't take it yourself
- Kill Gargoyles with Resin and Scimitar
- Ring the Bell Homeward Bone (dupe the bone)

Firelink Shrine/New Londo Ruins/Valley of Drakes
- Kick Lautrec off the ledge.
- Pick up all 3 Souls (bottom of Elevator, near door, near Undead Dragon)
- Pick up RTSR, dupe Homeward Bone

Firelink Shrine
- Pop all Souls
- Buy Great Soul Arrow and Sorcerer's Catalyst from Griggs
- Rest at bonfire, level Int, Attune Great Soul Arrow
- Pick up FAP Ring, Do Not Equip This Yet!!!!!

New Londo Ruins
- Head to Valley of Drakes, then Blighttown

Blighttown
- Blighttown Drop
- Setup RTSR using Poison and Slope damage, enter the fight without RTSR
- Kill Quelaag with Great Soul Arrow stunlock by free aiming at her human part
- Ring the Bell and Homeward Bone

Firelink Shrine, Undead Parish, Sen's Fortress
- Dupe Quelaag's Soul to get at least 28000 Souls
- Buy Great Heavy Soulmass and the Bellowing Dragoncrest Ring from Griggs
- Dupe Quelaag's Soul some more on the elevator
- Rest at Parish Bonfire and level Attunement to 12, Str to 11, and the rest in Int
- Attune Great Heavy Soul Arrow
- Rescue Logan using Drake Sword
- RTSR setup off Crossbowman, Equip Bellowing Dragoncrest Ring on the Fog Gate if you haven't already
- Kill Iron Golem with Great Heavy Soul Arrow to the leg x 2

Anor Londo
- Use up Quelaag's Soul, equip Core of an Iron Golem
- Use Core of an Iron Golem 4 times
- Level Vitality to 12, Int to at least 43
- Rafters, Silver Knight Archers
- (Optional) Take O&S Bonfire
- Set up RTSR from Silver Knight at the bottom of the stairs
- Jump the Railing and Kill O&S (4 Great Soul Arrow for Ornstein)
- Shoot illusion of Gwynevere with Great Soul Arrow or the Longbow, Homeward Bone
- Warp to Firelink Shrine

Firelink Shrine
- Rest at the bonfire
- Talk to Logan, Buy Homing Soulmass, Soul Spear, finish his dialogue so he leaves Firelink Shrine
- Jump down the hole, place the Lordvessel, Homeward Bone
- Talk to Griggs, buy Soul Spear
- Warp to Anor Londo, Equip Catalyst for Fall Control

Anor Londo, Duke's Archives
- Duke Skip (Fall Control is optional here, but recommended)
- Rest at Duke's Archives bonfire (the balcony bonfire)
- Set up RTSR using Fall damage
- Kill Seath
- Homeward Bone
- Buy Homing Crystal Soulmass and Crystal Soul Spear from Logan
- Kill Logan (Cast Homing Soulmass, then hit him with a Soul Spear, the Homing Soulmass should finish him)
- Pick up the Tin Crystalization Catalyst, use it for the rest of the run instead of the regular catalyst
- Homeward Bone
- Attune Homing Crystal Soulmass, Crystal Soul Spear
- Warp to Undead Parish

Undead Parish/Darkroot Garden
- Buy the Crest of Artorias from Andre
- Open the Forest Door
- (Optional) Rest at the Forest Bonfire
- Pick up the Stone Armor
- Kill Sif, Homeward Bone
- Warp to Firelink Shrine

Firelink Shrine/New Londo Ruins
- Rest at the bonfire, do any necessary leveling
- Take the Elevator, equip the Covenant of Artorias Ring, Cast Fall Control
- Seal Skip
- Drop an item as you hit the ground in The Abyss, Cast HCS, Equip Stone Armor
- Kill 4 Kings (Should be able to 3 Kings without RTSR, probably 2 Kings with)
- Homeward Bone

Firelink Shrine, New Londo Ruins, Blighttown
- Go to Blighttown, go through the secret wall and talk to Eingyi
- Dupe Fire Keeper Soul to get 30 Humanity
- Reinforce Estus Flask
- Join Covenant
- Offer 30 Humanity to unlock the Chaos Shortcut

Demon Ruins/Lost Izalith
- Rest at the Demon Ruins bonfire
- Kill Ceaseless Discharge, Homeward Bone
- Cast Fall Control, run to lower Demon Ruins
- Drop off the cliff at a safe point
- Cast Homing Crystal Soulmass to kill the first Minor Capra Demon
- (Optional) Kill the Rockwurm using Homing Crystal Soulmass and take the bonfire (Level Int, if Int is already 50 level Vit)
- Setup RTSR and Cast Fall Control
- Run to the Chaos Shortcut, take advantage of Fall Control to drop off the edge
- Open the Chaos Shortcut door
- (Optional) Kill the red Chaos Bug and get the Sunlight Maggot
- Kill the Titanite Demon using Crystal Soul Spear x2 (Make sure to get close enough), heal using 1 Humanity
- (Optional) Kill the Daughter of Chaos outside the Bed of Chaos boss area
- Kill Bed of Chaos using Tokhi Bombs, Homeward Bone
- Warp to Firelink Shrine

Firelink Shrine, Catacombs
- Run Through the Graveyard, push the lever, quitout as the lever animation is running
- Run outside and cast Fall Control
- Drop to the Valley floor (Fall Control Quitout or the 2 Platform Drop) and head for Pinwheel
- Equip FAP Ring over RTSR on the Pinwheel Foggate
- Kill Pinwheel with Homing Crystal Soulmass x 1 and Crystal Soul Spear x 1
- (Optional, only if you got the Sunlight Maggot) Equip the Sunlight Maggot on the ladder after Pinwheel
- (Optional) Rest at the bonfire closest to Nito
- Kill Nito (Wear Stone Armor), Homeward Bone
- Warp to Firelink

Firelink Shrine/Altar/Kiln of the First Flame
- Jump down the Hole
- Offer Souls to Lordvessel
- Equip RTSR over FAP Ring
- Setup RTSR using the first Black Knight, 1 Regular hit
- Kill Gwyn with Homing Crystal Soulmass (Enter Foggate, roll, cast it once, parry, cast it again while backing up, cast again if Gwyn doesn't die.
