  29. Following the conquest of the Siberian Domepoli, Clan Wolf (In Exile) had quite
  30. a few of the Railway Patrol's nearly useless Dogozzo and Dorbek frames on hand
  31. yet lacked the industrial capacity to break them down into parts. They had also
  32. taken quite a few Railway bondsmen who had piloted the machines their entire
  33. careers.

  35. Khan Phelan Kell's solution was to order the machines upgraded with Clan tech.

  38. Capabilities:
  39. The Clan upgrade of the Dorbek retains its previous use: a short range mech
  40. with a big gun for its size. The center mounted autocannon has been refitted to
  41. Clan specs and is capable of firing twice as fast as previously. The turret
  42. mounted machine gun's barrel was also lengthened, in anticipation of swarming
  43. attacks by elementals. This gives it signifigant punch at close quarters but
  44. leaves at nearly helpless at long range. Overfiring the autocannon can quickly
  45. exhaust the single ton of ammo or lead to feed jamming.

  47. This weapon's profile is nearly identical to that of the Urbanmech, leading to
  48. speculation that the older design will probably not be manufactured once Clan
  49. Wolf's production is on line.

  51. Several tons of ferro-fibrous armor are welded over the existign armor,
  52. improving protection remarkably, though still not as much as for most Clan
  53. mechs of equivalent size.

  55. The design's signifigant jump capability is retained, offsetting its mediocre
  56. speed.

  59. Deployment:
  60. Its intended role limits it to being deployed in or near the domepoli, as a
  61. last line of defense, and thus makes it much less likely to see combat than the
  62. more numerous Dogozzo upgrades. However as this machine was once piloted by
  63. Adette Kistler, hero of the war, it has come to be seen as a prestigious
  64. assignment by Siberian Railway bondsmen. Several Trials have been held among
  65. them for use of Dorbek IICs, under the supervision of Wolf trueborns.
