  4.
  5. “Bring up the UV Cannons into position,” told Inquisitor Minsk. The Battle Sisters pushed the monstrously large thing up to the hill overlooking the exit of this tomb. The inquisitor was thinking “When she leaves that building, there will be nothing left of her but the armor!” There was the plan to allow the Nosferatu vampire to enter the tomb and let her find the artifact she was searching for. Sooner or later she has to exit the underground tomb from the only known entrance. When that time comes, several large specially made UV cannons would cover the entrance in solar radiation that even humans could get sick from. If things go according to Minsk’s plan, he was going to be drinking much in celebration.
  6.
  7. The ancient metal doors were ripped from the hinges then thrown meters away by the vampire leaving. “Xin, you have plagued this planet for far too long! Your reign of blood ends here!” shouted Mink whilst drawing his Power Sword to point at her. The vampire had muscles like a Battle Sister from what could be seen on the sleeveless arms or the legs not covered by the armored skirt. The bat ears, enlarged fangs, and overgrown claws were clearly seen as she took off the psyker field disguising herself as a normal human. With glowing green eyes, Xin didn’t even look like an off-shoot human or mutant but more along the lines of a humanoid xenos. Her hair was cut short for combat during her 200 years of fighting on this Hive world. Working to overthrow the planet’s loyalist government, Xin had led a guerrilla war against the past three governors.
  8.
  9. “I can’t believe you didn’t even prevent me from getting to this place,” shouted back Xin.
  10.
  11. “It was all a part of my plan”
  12.
  13. “Then your plan was doomed from the start!”
  14.
  15. Countless human soldiers who willingly or unwillingly serve Xin, flood out of the entrance armed with stubbers or melee weapons. “Open fire!” ordered Minsk as Xin walked forward. The vampire was wearing a rustic breastplate with a pure red gem in the center. There was a much more modern scale armor skirt below the breastplate and a Flak helmet with what seems to be plume holders on the sides. The firefight broke out between the guerrillas and the Sisters while the UV cannons were set to fire at Xin. The slow pace of approach from the vampire had calmness yet was also overwhelmingly menacing. The Sisters didn’t have a clear shot on Xin when they were under fire from the guerrillas but the UV cannons could still hit her. Just as the UV cannons were about to fire a female yelling “Hold fire you fool!” could be heard from behind.
  16.
  17. The protest was too late as the UV cannons all fired directly at Xin to bath her in a tidal wave of solar radiation. The sudden energy caused the gem in the breastplate to glow suddenly as the armor grew claws on the edge of the plate. “Turn it all off, now!” ordered Inquisitor Genevieve to the crew of the cannons.
  18.
  19. “What are you doing here?” questioned Minsk in shock.
  20.
  21. “She is absorbing the solar energy with that gem. The more UV lights she is exposed to, the more powerful she becomes!”
  22.
  23. “What!?” shouted Minsk in disbelief.
  24.
  25. The breastplate claws dug into the flesh of the vampire making it inseparable from the wearer. Movements from the armor forced Xin to push her chest out when her body sparkled from the binding process. Blinding lights emitted from the vampire as her flesh temporarily became transparent. The entirety of the metal skeleton, C’tan shard inside the heart, and the silver running through her veins could be seen. The Sisters operating the UV cannons quickly tried to shut the things off with anything from bolter shells to smashing the lenses. Finally, all of the weapons halted causing the binding to stop as well. Xin was now kneeling from the draining experience yet the firefight didn’t wait for her. The rebels and Sisters were still killing each other throughout all of it.
  26.
  27. “You double mon-keigh, she wasn’t entering an old tomb! That place is an ancient armory!” yelled GeGe to Minsk.
  28.
  29. “But pre-Crusade nobles were buried there,”
  30.
  31. “Yes, the top floors are burial chambers but the tomb was built on top of an underground xenos ancient armory, almost predating Eldar history.”
  32.
  33. “Why was I not informed of this?”
  34.
  35. While the two inquisitors were arguing, Xin got up from the ground. As soon as she moved the breastplate fell apart due to its use expiring. Everybody could see that she was only protected by a ripped shirt showing her abs and arms, with no armor from the skirt down while wearing only a Flak helmet. Some of the Sister carved their way to reach Xin before opening fire with bolters. Normally the shells would tear a Nosferatu vampire to bits but the rounds were just absorbed into the flesh. Alarmed, the Sister prepared to throw grenades but was interrupted by bolter fire from Xin. She was firing the bolter shells back from her skin to kill anybody nearby. GeGe saw the frightening display to understand what was going on. The inquisitor explained “Xin created a psyker field around her to defuse any incoming bolter shells so that when she absorbs them into her body, they couldn’t explode inside her. Then she fired them back out of her own skin with reworked fuses that she changed inside her body, so they detonate on impact!”
  36.
  37. “Don’t you flee from me now, Inquisitor Minsk,” said Xin while advancing to the hill the inquisitors were standing on. “A Nosferatu vampire can’t have psyker powers as strong as a Lahmian!” yelled Minsk in horror. Xin backhanded three of her own soldiers to move them out of her way, sending them flying away from her. Thinking that explosives could delay the vampire, the Sisters threw grenades hoping to rip Xin’s limbs off. The explosions tore off the legs, the right arm, and the head from the torso, causing Xin to fall forward into the ground. This delayed her for but a few seconds as the limbs flew back to reattach themselves to the torso, while the head reconnected with the neck, albeit backward.
  38.
  39. Angered by the Sisters, Xin grew huge bat wings from her back. When the Sisters again threw more grenades at her, the bat wings flapped to generate winds strong enough to force the bombs to fall short. Not content with merely being safe from the bombs, Xin created a tornado strength gust of air to throw the explosives back at the Sisters. The grenades detonate in midair to cover a much bigger area of effect than exploding normally on the ground. Several Sisters were killed instantly by the shockwave while many others were bleeding out and a lucky few were only blinded from the shrapnel. Xin was now walked up to be only ten meters away from both the inquisitors.
  40.
  41. “Adalheid, help Inquisitor Minsk in delaying her. Palestrina, come with me to plan something out,” ordered GeGe as she ran away from Minsk.
  42.
  43. “Where the Warp are you going?” asked Minsk in panic.
  44.
  45. “Can’t you see? I’m fleeing!”
  46.
  47. “What!?”
  48.
  49. “Now Palestrina, run away!”
  50.
  51. The Battle Sister holding a flamer turned completely around to an 180 degree away from Minsk, with the only response of “Yes Mistress,” before running. Minsk was thinking that he had never seen such a cowardly inquisitor before. “How pathetic,” said Xin when arriving five meters away from both Minsk and Adalheid.
  52.
  53. “We will slay you, foul creature,” proclaimed Adalheid.
  54.
  55. “Mortals against a god, well maybe something not that radical,”
  56.
  57. “Then what you call you, Xin?” questioned Minsk.
  58.
  59. “Um… The Ultimate Organism, yes that will do,”
  60.
  61. “Are you immune to my rocket hand?” saying Adalheid when launching her left hand to grab Xin by her neck. Short of the rocket hand’s fingers touching the neck, suddenly Xin’s neck sparkled intensely. When the rocket hand tried to grab the neck, the hand was torn to pieces on impact. The cyber optics of the Tech-Priest was close enough to analyze how the vampire was able to do this. Adalheid saw that the sparkling as in fact caused by the neck of Xin being covered in microscopic metal razor teeth, they were moving so fast that any light reflecting off of the teeth created sparkling. Meaning any physical object touching the teeth while they were active would be sliced to bits. “Why of course I am,” replied Xin. Unknown to Xin however, the sixth hour has arrived and the sun was rising from beyond the horizon behind her back. “What now, Xin? The sun is coming up to melt you!” said Minsk in foolhardy gloating. “Uh no” came simply from Adalheid.
  62.
  63. “Your Mechanicus friend is right to fear me,”
  64.
  65. “What do you mean?”
  66.
  67. “Didn’t I tell you? I’m The Ultimate Organism.”
  68.
  69. Xin stretched her wings out to the sky while leaning to her right and threw her left hand to cover her face. Sunlight covered her legs, back, wings, and an arm but none of them were decaying at all. The light was so powerful that Minsk had to cover his eyes with his hand.
  70.
  71. “You should be melting right now!” shouted Minsk.
  72.
  73. “Oh really?” said Xin as she inspected her right arm, “I don’t seem to be decaying.”
  74.
  75. “Your C’tan shard or silver blood should be hyperactive, it should be eating your cells at an unsustainable rate,”
  76.
  77. “There seems to be a misunderstanding, inquisitor. As The Ultimate Organism, I have reined in total control over my shard and silver.”
  78.
  79. “Impossible!”
  80.
  81. “That gem used ancient unknown technology along with what seem to be Warpcraft and Nano-machines,”
  82.
  83. “You mean to tell me…”
  84.
  85. “Why yes, your UV cannons powered it to activation. The Nano-machines flowing inside me have somehow managed to calm the hunger of the C’tan elements of my body,”
  86.
  87. “I uh…” Minsk was at a loss for words.
  88.
  89. “Don’t be too shocked, at least one of you knew this was going to happen.”
  90.
  91. Adalheid sent four tendrils to attach themselves to the all the limbs of the vampire before she could react. Xin could only activate razor skin on her left arm to prevent one tendril from touching her. The other three not only touched the skin but also dug into the limbs. The Tech-Priest though Xin could only use her razor skin on one of the limbs in time due to how draining the activation must be, seeing as she used the time in talking with Minsk to catch her breath for 31.7 seconds. Adalheid sent an electrical shock from her tendrils in the hopes of paralyzing Xin. Feeling the shock on her limbs, Xin reacted by forcing the currents to travel all around inside her body then back out through the tendrils. The feedback fried some wires on Adalheid’s arms and deactivated them along with the tendrils.
  92.
  93. “Useless, useless, useless,” said Xin while ripping out the tendrils and Adalheid stood motionless trying to reboot her motor systems. “Almost hurt there,” saying as the vampire bend her knees. When Xin leaped at Adalheid, both Minsk and Adalheid jumped back. The dodge came too late for Adalheid as she was sliced in half from the stomach down. The Tech-Priest’s upper body landing face first into the dirt and was as combat effective as a slab of metal when she was still rebooting her motor systems.
  94.
  95. Minsk drew his Power Sword yet didn’t use his bolt pistol as he knew projectile weapons were harmful to him. The inquisitor took a fencing stance for the battle when Xin opened large pores on her skin while retracting the wings back into her body. The very air appeared to flow differently around Xin, to the point where Minsk couldn’t even see her anymore for some reason.
  96.
  97. “Face me in a fair fight you swine!” called out Minsk to draw her out to an attack.
  98.
  99. “I’m still here right in front of you,” said Xin to cause Minsk to slash at nothing in front of him.
  100.
  101. “I can’t believe that actually worked,” saying as she burst out in laughter. The inquisitor predicted that Xin must be behind him and stabbed right behind him without looking. “Nice try, but I actually am in front of you,” told Xin while stabbing her claws right into the heart of the inquisitor. “What!?” reacted Minsk when she became visible again, and her claws were twirling so fast it drilled through his Power Armor. Xin played with the arteries using claws that successfully dug to the heart, “My pores you see, can change the air flow around me to such an extent that I practically became invisible due to solar rays being unable to touch me, thus I became transparent to your eyes!” laughing all the while she explained. “You outplayed me,” said Minsk in his dying breath. “I can’t win if you weren’t even playing in the first place,” told Xin when she crushed the heart to kill Minsk. Holding the body up in the air, she ripped it in half to drink the blood flooding out of the torso like a barbarian.
  102.
  103. “Now to hunt down that other inquisitor!” she said as she flew away with the wings she regrew. “GeGe, Xin is headed to your position!” sent out the vox message from Adalheid when walking back to her legs while using her arms as makeshift legs. Over in the air, Xin tracked down GeGe using a combination of smelling and detecting unique Warp signals. The vampire arrived at an abandoned building just at the edge of a hive city. The rundown structure looked just a good kick short of totally collapsing. “Come out, come out where ever you are, poor Eldar” trying to force some sort of movement for the vampire to detect. “I do so enjoy bringing your accursed race closer to extinction,” said Xin as she switches her eyes to more Owl-like to see in the dark. The tiny slivers of light from the wall cracks were more than enough light for this predator. In almost pitch black darkness, she could see the room as clear in daylight, there were four pillars and some boxes that somebody could hide behind.
  104.
  105. Making sure to avoid any traps, she changes her eyes to only use thermal detection and there it was, GeGe’s foot just out of place hiding behind a box. To double check, she made a series of clicking sounds to echolocate if anybody else was here, sure enough, she only heard the shape of GeGe hiding behind a box on the other side of the room. Xin walked to her target with light illusions being generated by her psyker field, the vampire had made three clones of herself next to each other, all walking towards GeGe. Just peeking out the box, GeGe saw four Xin clones readying to attack her. GeGe shouted “Well this is an odd battle,” to signal Palestrina to attack. The word ‘odd’ triggered the Securitas Sister to burst out of a box behind the Xin clones. In Palestrina’s hands was a flamer just lit and aiming at the clones. The cleansing promethium danced out the barrel to engulf all the clones and Xin herself. “What!?” shouted the vampire while the pain from the fire disrupted her psyker field, leading to all the illusions disappearing.
  106.
  107. “I knew you could still feel pain from studying the report from Adalheid,” GeGe was referencing to the electrical shock and dismemberment.
  108.
  109. “How could you possibly know that?” said Xin while kneeling on the floor from the flames.
  110.
  111. “Even for a so-called Ultimate Organism, you still need to have pain receptors on at all times or else you won’t know what is harming your body immediately. Next, you’re going to ask why you couldn’t detect Palestrina!”
  112.
  113. “Why couldn’t I see her?”
  114.
  115. “In night vision, you couldn’t see here just from the fact she hid in a box. Using echolocation, she was sitting motionless to mimic a set of Flak Armor that these boxes contain. In a thermal vision, Palestrina gave off no heat due to being covered in Flak plates!”
  116.
  117. “What!?” said Xin in frustration.
  118.
  119. The vampire lashed out with essence beams shot from her eyes to destroy Palestrina’s flamer along with her right hand. This action forced GeGe to jump on Xin’s back and stab at where the heart should be. Such an attack only angered Xin to grab GeGe by the shoulders then throw her flying across the room. More essence beams shot out to try to impale the inquisitor but she rolled behind a pillar in time. Wanting to kill more than anything else, Xin ran to the pillar with bloodlust in her eyes. Fortunately, the vampire’s foot detonated a landmine placed carefully next to a box near the pillar. The blast tore off both legs from Xin’s torso, making Xin fall face first on the floor.
  120.
  121. Thankfully, Palestrina ran out of the room that was covered in flying shrapnel. GeGe jumped out from cover before the legs could reattach themselves to the torso. “Go, go melta bombs!” shouting as the inquisitor threw two melta bombs at the bloody stump of a torso. The bombs exploded to melt Xin’s torso into the floor and prevent the legs from reattaching properly. “Look at where you stand now!” GeGe was taunting Xin to impulsive action. The angry vampire forced her legs to reattach together then turn her head totally around to look directly behind herself like an owl. Still being stuck to the floor, Xin fired essence beams right at GeGe yet they missed due to Eldar reflexes. The vampire tried making her legs jump to attack while firing her beams at the same time, predicting that either the Eldar would deflect the leg attack or jump to dodge. She shot to where the body would be in both cases. GeGe dodged the legs to her right by jumping yet an essence beam grazed her, the shot would tear off her left foot.
  122.
  123. Now the legs were running on the wall to flank the wounded Eldar. Realizing too late where the attack was coming from, the legs dropped from the ceiling with drilling claws. Before the lethal contact, however, bolter shells hit the legs to blow them to bits. Palestrina ran back inside the room with a bolt-pistol in hand then holstering it to help GeGe up.
  124.
  125. “Quick, Palestrina! Tactical withdrawal from this building!” ordered the almost footless inquisitor.
  126.
  127. “Right away mistress!” complying Palestrina while dragging GeGe from the building. The Stormtroopers had finished setting charges all over the building and only waited for the order to detonate them. As the inquisitor was pulled out of the building, she ordered the structure to be leveled. The blast could be heard in the upper-hive when the bombs flattened the building. Doubting the explosion was going to be enough, GeGe already had another weapon.
  128.
  129. Under all the rubble and unimaginable tons of ferrocrete, Xin was still alive. She had already healed her legs then reattached them right before the explosion. Yet the vampire was still trapped inside for now. Turning the claws on her hands to drills, she was going to dig her way out. After about 20 straight minutes of digging, Xin was free from her imprisonment. Standing in daylight, she grew wings to hunt down an inquisitor but was halted by a Lance battery. The Lance shots disintegrated flesh from the body to only leave her as a literal walking skeleton. Still trying to flap her wings to flying away, she noticed there no flight due to a lack anything but metal bones. Then there was a second barrage to pulverize the metal bones to dust and crush the heart beyond repair.
  130. GeGe observed the bombardment from inside the hive-city and then said “What did we learn from this?”
  131.
  132. “One way to kill an Ultimate Organism is via capital ship weaponry,” answered Adalheid.
  133.
  134. “Always have information on the enemy,” said Palestrina.
  135.
  136. “Prepare a contingency plan,”
  137.
  138. “Know the importance of retreating,”
  139.
  140. “I was going to say ‘never to underestimate your enemies’ but any of the other answers will do” told the Inquisitor Genevieve with a small smile.
