  9. Christmas 2015 is here and so are my puzzles. It appears one of your managed to beat me
  10. so I must congratulate you, but don't savor the flavor too much more will come! In the
  11. meantime let's do a breakdown of why I'm so much smarter than you
  12.

  15. Why hello Batboobs. I know you think this is the time to celebrate, but what for? After all you'll never be as clever as me and you'll certainly never get a present from me. This first one is going to be quite a doozy. Sometimes the simplest DIMENSIONS can be the most complex!

  21. So first thing's first you're treated to an odd shaped image and a rather direct hint to check out the
  22. DIMENSIONS of said image. Those dimensions are 25x214. Anons initially thought it was a multiplication
  23. question. Not a totally bad idea, but sadly in this case it was a simple direct one letter - one number
  24. substitution. So you translate 25x214 to Be Bad. My motto for Christmas!
  25.
  26. Box 2 Hint
  27. [Find image here http://imgur.com/1YJ8agR]
  28. Goodness, I wonder how long it took you to get here? I bet ages. I bet you thought that I couldn't get any smarter, well you're wrong. I'm always right. Always, just ask my friend Mr. Biv.
  29.
  30. Box 2 Ans
  31. So you open this box to find a lovely piece of modern art done by yours truly. Or is it? Depsite my love
  32. of shitty paintings this is not about art, but rather is the password. You see Mr. Biv refers to Roy G. Biv
  33. substitute the colors for letters and you get Go Rob. Another gem from yours truly!
  34.
  35. Box 3 Hint
  36. Well, well, well I love rubes suffering, it's music to my ears. I bet you wish you could put down the coffee and enjoy the peace of sleep. Here's a song that might help you find the answer to your problems.
  37.
  38. Box 3 Ans
  39. This time you are treated to my above hint and a pdf containing some music notes. Those unfamiliar with
  40. sheet music might not realize that sheet music is represented by ABCDEFG and as such can be used to
  41. store messages. In this case if you literally took the notes it said "a decaf cage"
  42.
  43. Box 4 Hint
  44. I do so love Christmas, but what I enjoy most is the music. Something about it just makes you feel good. I won't tell you my favorite song, but I'll tell you it's quite possibly the most popular digitally released Xmas song ever, and it's lyrics found on Google play are just capital don't you think?
  45.
  46. 1 50 78 42 41 60 49 40 43 43 52 43 52 47 31 74 20 24
  47.
  48. Box 4 Ans
  49. It seems that this was one of the most troubling boxes for some of you. I admit this one gave me
  50. particular joy and I might end up using a similar design again. This is an example of a book cipher
  51. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Book_cipher. You substitute letters for references to letters and if you
  52. choose a big enough book you can avoid the weakness other substitution ciphers have by creating
  53. non repeating replacements so patterns are harder to find. In this case I hint you to the book by saying
  54. it's the lyrics to the most popular digitally released Xmas song ever. A quick search shows that this is
  55. Mariah Carry's All I Want For Christmas Is You. Now you go to the lyrics on Google Play and you'll see
  56. several paragraphs of lyrics. In the hint provided I state that they are just CAPITAL. If you build a word
  57. bank of capital letters you can then just substitute the number for the letter. Giving you
  58. I WANT A HIPPOPOTAMUS. Simple and easy to do if you know the key, but strong enough to resist
  59. the more basic brute force attacks that could have been used.
  60.
  61. Box 5 Hint
  62. Well here it is the Penultimate Door Finale, I hope you don't think it's over yet. It's time to really dig deep.
  63. Because the hint you're looking for isn't in this box, but you've seen it before even if you didn't know it.
  64. I'll say this before I go, location is everything. Good luck, Batboobs, you'll need it.
  65.
  66. Box 5 Ans
  67. One of my favorite things to do is to hide future answers in past puzzles as it makes you go back and
  68. reevaluate what just happened. In this case you might notice something strange about the
  69. capitilization in my hint "Penultimate Door Finale" doesn't need to be capitialized, but it is, take those
  70. letters and you get PDF. This tells you where the password lives! In the only PDF I supplied you with!
  71. Head back to the lyrics PDF and look at the metainfo it has. You'll see.

  78. Going back to the hint, I stated that location was everything and it looks as though we have some
  79. coordinates to look at! Plug those in and you'll find that they are the coordinates for the North Pole!
  80. AKA Santa's Home. Open the next box and you get
  81.
  82. Final Ans
  83. And now for my finale form.... Just kidding you did it! Hurry to the thread post your xmas list with the phrase "All I Want For Christmas Is For Eddie To Shut The Hell Up!"
  84.
  85. That's it! See that wasn't so hard. After all you ain't seen nothing yet... Keep an eye on the thread and congrats to our winner!
