Mohammad - Replication

Hi guys,

Love your show, it’s an inspiration to me and I’d like to try out some of the ideas you shared when I have the time. Some of the stuff you shared has been really useful to me personally as well as my day job, so thanks a million J

A question, I have recently started using zxfer to back up client servers and it’s working like a charm, but one of my clients has a bunch of collocated servers in a data center with a committed rated of 25Mbps, if they exceed that much they are billed for the 95th percentile. I didn’t know that and we were hit with some pretty high overage fees.


So my question, if I have 2 datasets that have already been rsync’ed, would I be able to take a snapshot at the same time on both datasets and resume the replication from there instead of having to start over?
