1. ATTENDANCE
VERY VERY VERY VERY IMPORTANT!!  WE HAVE AN ACTIVITY POLICY:
MEANING: You (((((((MUST))))))) BE ON for AT LEAST ((3)) days a weak, The MORE The Better!!!! Also, Elite Four Attendance is VERY Important.             This has to do with loyalty to the league.
            So, do NOT EVER EVER EVER Accept a LEAGUE INVITATION from someone else.

A. Monotype
Our Gym Leaders/Elite 4/Professors Specialize in MONOTYPE Meaning: Their teams consist of one shared type. Most teams you will see our leaders have will be balanced or bulky offensive teams! (What does this mean?) Most types don't have the tools to run fully hyper offensive teams or stall teams, so most teams end up being balanced. Because each of the mons on a team share a type, checking weaknesses and overall strong mons is key to each team. The secondary type that is not the shared type is very important, as this can be used to help cure some weaknesses. (Notable examples: Swampert is water/ground, so on a water team, it provides an electrical immunity.) Most teams try to have hazards (notably stealth rock), sometimes hazard removal, along with physical and special mons capable of sweeping teams.

For example: Generic Flying: Skarmory (Def. Wall/Hazard Setter), Zapdos (Special Wall/Hazard Removal), Landorus-I (Special Sweeper/Wallbreaker), Gyarados-Mega (Physical Sweeper), Thundurus-I (Special Sweeper), Dragonite (Physical Sweeper)

Analysis:
1. Skarmory is very critical to this flying team, as it provides a strong 70/140 defensive stats along with a fantastic steel/flying type, is the go to physical wall. It can also set hazards and also remove hazards if needed.
2. Zapdos as a specially defensive wall pairs well with skarmory to provide a strong defensive core
3. Landorus-Incarnate is a powerful special sweeper capable of leveling some types on its own, notably rock and steel. This also serves to break certain annoying walls.
4. Gyarados-Mega is a potent physical sweeper that can also level some types, like psychic, ghost, and ground.
5. Thundurus-Incarnate has fantastic coverage with focus blast and thunderbolt, along with a nice prankster t-wave to take out especially powerful threats
6. Dragonite is similar to Mega Gyarados, but it differs in that it gets a crucial move, extreme speed, allowing it to both revenge kill and set up and proceed to sweep an entire team. It also can very well run a choice band set to wall break so gyarados can sweep late game.

B. Frontiers
Our Frontiers specialize in a VARIETY of tiers ranging from 1v1, OU, and LC to Anything Goes, Monotype, and Almost Anything Ability. Frontier is one of the hardest positions to get in the league because it requires LADDERING. Especially for tiers that are highly played such as ou and monotype. Getting top 150 in OU for example is no joke.

6. Testing Requirements

A.(+)(Gym TRAINERS): Use your First day you are here to determine what type(s) you will try to become GL with and to perfect your team
             Day (2) Today you can test for GL, good luck!

                        Your GYM LEADER Test will Consist of 3 TESTS ( 2 WEAKNESS & 1 Resistance TEST )

           ((10/12)) Pokemon on WEAKNESS TEST and ((4/6)) on RESISTANCE test in order to PASS GL TEST!!

                 Also, with Normal and Electric tests, since they have
                 one weakness, the test will be 10/12 resist and
                 4/6 weakness instead of the normal test rules.

***Can Test for GL once every hour (right to be refused if vsing the same tester for 4 hours for example)

B.(@)(FRONTIER BRAINS): Gym Leaders/Trainers wanting to go 4 Frontier must get to top 150 (of the target tier) on main ladder w/ a GXE of 70%. You must win in a best of 3 vs someone appointed in the league who has experience in the tier you are testing for.

C.(#)(ELITE FOUR): We're getting rid of the old E4 testing reqs for a new system that isn't based 100% on score. Testees must first fulfill these requirements before testing for E4: 1. 1600 Ladder 80 Gxe, Must currently hold a position in the league higher than trainer, Be in the league for at least 2 weeks, access to Skype/Dischord is recommended though not mandatory (we use those alot to communicate)

New testing requirements ask the tester to vs 5 of the highest used/most meta defining types, used by a person of prof or higher status(with experience and a high playing ability with the type being tested with). Then, the tester must vs two other types we are feel are required to give a better representation of the skill level of the tester(consult an e4 or higher rank for this). These new tests, rather than testing how well your team fares vs a disadvantage, test how well your team does IN THE CURRENT META. Regardless of the type you main, prepping your team to take on the metagame's biggest threats is what's most important. And if we feel that the type you main has too good of a matchup vs the 5 most used types(1630 Ladder), the last two chosen will be types that give your type a hard matchup. You must win at least 5 of these 7 battles, two tests max by e4/champ, 1 test max by a prof. All 7 replays must be saved and submitted along with proof of ladder rank to be considered for E4 rank. Confirmation of pos standing is received in 10 days.

When considering for E4, we determine whether you are E4 material based on the battle skill you have provided for us in replays, as well as your maturity in league affairs, as well as how much you help out league members in improving their teams, accepting league challenges and being a general positive influence to the league. Also, activity is very, very important and if you are not able to log in at the VERY least every other day, you will not be considered for E4 regardless of your skill level.

D.(@)(League Ace): We've decided to get rid of the monotype frontier, because we felt it was pointless as there are many great mono players in lotus, having a frontier for the tier doesnt actually make much sense. So we created League Ace. League ace is the only possible duel-held position in the league. There's Resistant, Persistant and Consistant Ace Positions. Resistant ace is highest Gliscko. Persistent ace is highest ELO. Consistent ace is longest win streak.

**Important information regarding former league members**
Former league members regardless of what position you formerly had, can be given mod, in respect of your accomplishments and contributions you've made. Exceptions are former champs (who retain #), and anyone banned or kicked from the league for negative reasons(demoted to autoconfirmed). Former league members are allowed to test current trainers and gl's (within reason if no foul/poor play involved), though any member currently holding a position is given prority.
