  2. [12/11/16 20:20:52]<Waak|Overcolt> Our heroes had chatted with a group of wastelanders and their leader, giving them a new task - to repair a Sparkle~Cola production line for them to use. They also had uncovered a long-lost set of hidden blades and a light armor, double-locked behind a terminal and a safe.
  3. [12/11/16 20:23:57]<Waak|Overcolt> Crimson, who apparently was the leader of the lighthouse gang, had given Silky_Shackles and Comet_Blaze supplies for free after a small debate. Radscorpion_Pie had overlooked the situation from the doorway to the room in the second floor.
  4. [12/11/16 20:24:54]? Comet_Blaze busily packed the last of the Spell Matrixes into her saddle bags, making sure she knew they had enough of everything. A somber nod to Crimson. "I'll do my best to get everything back up and running. It's the least I can do after..." She trailed off and shook her head. "Never mind. It's the least I can do."

  6. [12/11/16 20:26:21]? Screw-Loose is looking at the schematics whilst talking to Gearhead.

  8. [12/11/16 20:27:00]? Kichaka was sitting off to the side fiddling with her bracers, glancing up every so often to make sure they hadnt left without her. She wasnt about to get abandoned a second time.
  9. [12/11/16 20:27:14]? Silky_Shackles looks back at Comet_Blaze, knowingly. She puts herself back to her hooves. "If we are settled, it's better not to waste much time. We can manage to arrange ourselves a place to stay still today if we hurry."
  10. [12/11/16 20:28:43]? RadscorpionPie nods. "After this side trip we took, we best be ready to up and book. ^^" She grins slightly, as she stretches.
  11. [12/11/16 20:31:21]<Gearhead> "Alright, so while we explore this factory, I say we be on the look out for parts for our Project. Agreed?"
  12. [12/11/16 20:31:32]<Waak|Overcolt> Crimson nods back to Comet_Blaze, and wonders a bit at Silky_Shackles' and Raddie's statement. "If you're in dire need of a place to sleep, we could give you a few matresses to sleep on here for..." she takes a quick calculation. "10 caps per pair of ears?"
  13. [12/11/16 20:32:08]? Silky_Shackles smirks and trots to towards the lighthouse. "Ladies, are you done there? We need to get back on the road."
  14. [12/11/16 20:32:08]? Comet_Blaze trots slowly back down the lighthouse. Heading outdoors and taking a brief glance at the sky before pulling her hood up again. Spending the briefest moment touching the goggles hanging from her neck before stretching her legs.
  15. [12/11/16 20:32:41]? Screw-Loose nods. "That we must do. I want to build our first minion bot, then from there we can make better ones."
  16. [12/11/16 20:32:42]? RadscorpionPie nods. "Ya'll can go ahead and find what yer missin', but don' go sneakin' anythin' important fer the mission. ^^"
  17. [12/11/16 20:33:21]? Gearhead nods. "Yes, a small army of them will be the most logical way to get rid of enemies, since none of us will be harmed
  18. [12/11/16 20:33:38]? RadscorpionPie turns, and trots along happily "And thank ye kindly fer yer offer of beds, but we made a promise, so we best be forgin' ahead!"
  19. [12/11/16 20:34:33]? Screw-Loose nods eagerly. "And we can also make ones so we can do experiments with volatile materials! Think of how much safer it would be than to have it blow up in our faces!"
  20. [12/11/16 20:34:50]? Kichaka scrambles about, stuffing her gear haphazardly back into her bags and trots off after the others

  22. [12/11/16 20:36:21]? Gearhead nods, giving a hint of a smile. "Indeed."

  24. [12/11/16 20:37:31]<Waak|Overcolt> The group - excluding Comet_Blaze who has stepped outside - meets on the first floor of the lighthouse, in the room with the make-shift beds and lockers.
  25. [12/11/16 20:37:53]? Comet_Blaze paused out at the center of the camp, waiting for the others to arrive. She dug her forehoof at the cold ground thoughtfullly. But at least she wasn't so rash as to run off alone.
  26. [12/11/16 20:39:04]? Silky_Shackles clears her throat by the two science mares. "Ladies, you can keep your chat going along the way, but it's time we move."
  27. [12/11/16 20:39:52]? Gearhead looks to Silky_Shackles. "Ah yes, I'm sorry, I lost track of time." She looks to Screw-Loose. "Let us go Screw."
  28. [12/11/16 20:40:57]? Bro-Hoofs-a-Bear raises an eyebrow at that last comment "Is this really the time?"
  29. [12/11/16 20:41:14]<Waak|Overcolt> Hollow Point walks past as Gearhead lets out the last line, and looks at the mare with a questioning look before moving on.
  30. [12/11/16 20:41:24]? Screw-Loose nods and gets to her hooves. "Are we going on a salvage trip? Yay!"
  31. [12/11/16 20:41:43]? Gearhead tilts her head. "What?"
  32. [12/11/16 20:41:56]? Silky_Shackles covers her muzzle and chuckles.
  33. [12/11/16 20:41:57]<Gearhead> "I was refering to Miss Loose."
  34. [12/11/16 20:42:20]? Bro-Hoofs-a-Bear fights a giggle "You ponies and your strange names"
  35. [12/11/16 20:42:31]? Kichaka snrks from under her hood
  36. [12/11/16 20:43:53]? Gearhead starts trotting. "You ponies are being very illogical. As well as the buffalo."
  37. [12/11/16 20:44:37]? Bro-Hoofs-a-Bear chuckles to himself and follows
  38. [12/11/16 20:45:09]? RadscorpionPie facehoofs.
  39. [12/11/16 20:45:26]? Silky_Shackles waves a hoof. "Don't mind us. Let's just pack up and go. Everypoy ready?"
  40. [12/11/16 20:46:21]? Comet_Blaze paced quitely in the yard, waiting for her companions to catch up with her. Today was going to be interesting one way or another, and possibly worryingly so.
  41. [12/11/16 20:46:21]<Waak|Overcolt> The group trots through the lighthouse door back to outdoors and joins with Comet_Blaze who's waited briefly near the now declining campfire.
  42. [12/11/16 20:47:51]? Screw-Loose hums as she trots, happy to be going new places
  43. [12/11/16 20:48:12]? Gearhead follows beside Screw-Loose, looking ahead
  44. [12/11/16 20:48:43]? Bro-Hoofs-a-Bear sticks with RadscorpionPie
  45. [12/11/16 20:49:04]? Comet_Blaze walks with the others once they were ready to depart, keeping her head low and her hood up, doing her best to stay warm.
  46. [12/11/16 20:51:33]? Silky_Shackles adjusts her hat, and checks her munitions inside her duster. Just a few sticks of dynamite, but it should work for clearing pests. She reminds herself to get better equipped as soon as she can, then close the duster again to protect against the cold winds
  47. [12/11/16 20:57:29]? RadscorpionPie smiles and nods to Comet Blaze, as she trots along, humming sotly to herself, letting her movement and her heavy cooking vestments keep her warm. ^^
  48. [12/11/16 21:00:08]<Waak|Overcolt> After travelling for a while and following the road to south, they found themselves at the spot of where old sky carriage had crash-landed. No movement was in sight, and everything was clear.
  49. [12/11/16 21:00:51]? Gearhead spots the old skycarriage but doesnt care, discusses science.
  50. [12/11/16 21:01:40]? Bro-Hoofs-a-Bear also see the old skycarrage but is to busy contemplating the meaning of life to care
  51. [12/11/16 21:01:47]? Silky_Shackles tilts her head, pondering about it. At their situation, they could use any resources they could find. She runs her eyes over it.
  52. [12/11/16 21:01:48]? Screw-Loose spots it and then has an idea. "Hey Gear, think we can make that work?"
  53. [12/11/16 21:02:12]? Gearhead looks to the carraige. "perhaps... if it has the working parts."
  54. [12/11/16 21:02:26]? Comet_Blaze walks slowly towards the sky carriage, slowly circling it just a little bit and looking up towards the sky again. She bit her lower lip thoughtfully, before slowly moving to see if anyone else could find anything useful in the wreckage.
  55. [12/11/16 21:02:28]? Kichaka tromps along, puffing at her cloak that keeps flopping down in front of her eyes.
  56. [12/11/16 21:03:17]? Screw-Loose nods. "Wanna see if it does? At worst we just find useful parts."
  57. [12/11/16 21:03:34]? Gearhead thinks. "I suppose it will benefit us."
  58. [12/11/16 21:04:20]? RadscorpionPie frowns, and then blinks, tilting her head, looking at the sky carrage. "Well, if nothing else, there might be something inside. Let's go ahead and see what secrets it may hide. ^^"
  59. [12/11/16 21:04:41]? Screw-Loose nods and trots up to it.
  60. [12/11/16 21:04:58]? Gearhead twitches at the ryhming

  62. [12/11/16 21:05:44]? Silky_Shackles nods as well. "If nothing else, a part in a good state can be traded for something useful."

  64. [12/11/16 21:06:29]? Screw-Loose tilts her head as she trots. "Why does that part of the ground not look right?"
  65. [12/11/16 21:06:36]? Gearhead tilts her head. "Why?"
  66. [12/11/16 21:06:39]? RadscorpionPie screeches to a halt.
  67. [12/11/16 21:06:49]<Gearhead> "What part of land?"
  68. [12/11/16 21:06:55]? Bro-Hoofs-a-Bear stops "Whats wrong now?"
  69. [12/11/16 21:07:00]? Gearhead stops.
  70. [12/11/16 21:07:06]? Comet_Blaze moves alongside the others, sighing quietly as she hide her face deeper under her cloak. She shuffled forehooves nervously. "A sky chariot this far out must have been here for ages."
  71. [12/11/16 21:07:18]? Silky_Shackles points to the marks of digging and hastily covered prints.
  72. [12/11/16 21:07:36]<Silky_Shackles> "It's a trap."
  73. [12/11/16 21:09:10]<Waak|Overcolt> Before Silky's warning reaches their ears, Screw-Loose and Gearhead have both stepped to the digging zone. Both hear a sound click under their hooves.
  74. [12/11/16 21:09:39]<Gearhead> "I'm going to say this isn't good."
  75. [12/11/16 21:09:42]? Screw-Loose freezes. "Um, bad right?"
  76. [12/11/16 21:11:04]? Bro-Hoofs-a-Bear dives to the ground "Hit the deck!"
  77. [12/11/16 21:11:32]? Silky_Shackles approaches carefully, keeping a close eye on the ground. "Don't. Move." If they were mines, maybe there was something she could do.
  78. [12/11/16 21:12:10]<Gearhead> "Understood."
  79. [12/11/16 21:12:17]? Gearhead seems very calm about all this
  80. [12/11/16 21:12:24]? Screw-Loose stays still. "Got it."
  81. [12/11/16 21:12:38]? Comet_Blaze leaps backwards at the click. Wings spread as she took to the air a significant distance. Scanning the horizon for any sign of who might have set the trap. Surely if there was a trap here somepony wanted to see it get triggered!
  82. [12/11/16 21:13:06]? RadscorpionPie flinches at the sound, and then looks about as well as she tries to back away, pulling out her m e p.
  83. [12/11/16 21:14:36]<Waak|Overcolt> A sudden hail of snow flies to Comet_Blaze's eyes, stinging her eyes - and not helping at all seeing if the culprit was in the area.
  84. [12/11/16 21:15:22]? Comet_Blaze winces and shakes her head, beating her wings harder to keep in the air despite the snow and wind. Despite the goggles around her neck she doesn't actually move to wear them, instead wiping the snow with a forehoof and struggling to keep an eye on her allies on the ground.
  85. [12/11/16 21:17:30]? Silky_Shackles moves even closer and bring her hooves down to the explosive, disengaging it.

  87. [12/11/16 21:24:10]<Waak|Overcolt> Silky_Shackles had now freed two of her friends from a tight spot without harm. Up in the air, though, despite the sudden blindness Comet_Blaze can keep in the air - and a bullet flies past her wings.

  89. [12/11/16 21:24:57]? Screw-Loose breaths out in relief. "Thank you, that was uncomfortable."
  90. [12/11/16 21:25:19]? Bro-Hoofs-a-Bear looks up "Are we safe to move?"
  91. [12/11/16 21:25:29]<Waak|Overcolt> A gun blast is heard echoing across the landscape.
  92. [12/11/16 21:26:08]? Kichaka flinches at the sound of gunfire. "I dont like this!"
  93. [12/11/16 21:26:27]? Bro-Hoofs-a-Bear groans and takes out his shotgun
  94. [12/11/16 21:26:28]? Silky_Shackles nods. "And I we should move fast. The responsibles are coming after us."

  96. [12/11/16 21:27:28]? Screw-Loose levitates her rifle. "Let us go and blast em. Then use em as r
  97. [12/11/16 21:27:41]<Screw-Loose> test subjects!"
  98. [12/11/16 21:28:41]? Silky_Shackles thinks. "Miss Loose, Miss Gearhead, move back." She says, looking down at the trap laid for them
  99. [12/11/16 21:28:54]? Comet_Blaze rolls quickly to one side, turning and quickly scanning the distance for any sign of who shot at her, beginning evasive maneuvers in the air. "Another trap." At least this time she probably didn't have to feel bad about what was about to happen.
  100. [12/11/16 21:29:10]? RadscorpionPie yelps at the sound of gunfire, and tries to orient where they came from...
  101. [12/11/16 21:29:38]? Screw-Loose nods and trots back. "I can just shoot and shoot and shoot even more with this gun!"
  102. [12/11/16 21:29:53]? Bro-Hoofs-a-Bear looks for some cover away from the skywagon
  103. [12/11/16 21:30:30]<Waak|Overcolt> Another bullet flies across the scene - clearly coming from the opposite side of the road to the skywagon
  104. [12/11/16 21:31:57]? Silky_Shackles moves closer to the explosives again and put her hooves at work
  105. [12/11/16 21:32:08]? Screw-Loose eeps and tries to spot where the second shot came from.
  106. [12/11/16 21:32:38]? Kichaka throws back her hood and glances around searchingly
  107. [12/11/16 21:37:40]<Waak|Overcolt> ¤¤¤
  108. [12/11/16 21:38:58]<Waak|Overcolt> A group of ponies - five of them, two unicorns carruing guns and three earth ponies with melee weapons - appear on the hill top as one unicorn disables her spell.
  109. [12/11/16 21:39:26]<RadscorpionPie> "Invisibility? Oh, ya'll ain't fightin' fair!"
  110. [12/11/16 21:39:41]? Bro-Hoofs-a-Bear sighs
  111. [12/11/16 21:43:55]? Screw-Loose nods. "Learning that spell!"
  112. [12/11/16 21:46:58]? Bro-Hoofs-a-Bear takes cover and waits for them to come closer
  113. [12/11/16 21:52:09]? Comet_Blaze briefly rolled in the air, turning herself about to point towards the new attackers. For a moment she hovered in place, lineing up the twin rifles on her battle saddle before the bark of her guns echoed across the open terrain, two slugs downrange at one pof the unicorns, followed shortly by another two. The pegasus wasn't going anywhere real fast right now, but that was fine. Stopping

  117. [12/11/16 21:55:39]<Waak|Overcolt> The very creepy smile on one unicorn's face fades away as she is greeted by the hail of bullets from Comet_Blaze - she falls to the ground, clearly dead and full of holes.

  119. [12/11/16 22:00:37]<Waak|Overcolt> The last unicorn standing takes one of the shots Gearhead sent to his shoulder, only wincing a bit at the pain.

  127. [12/11/16 22:12:50]? Kichaka stares at the ponies, mulling things over slowly. She decides to move forward and meet them partway, keeping prepared to fighting.
  128. [12/11/16 22:16:56]? RadscorpionPie opens fire into the midst of the earth pony raiders.
  129. [12/11/16 22:17:46]<Waak|Overcolt> Kichaka runs right through the minefield, triggering plenty of mines in the process. However, only one of them seems to not be a dud and explodes with a delay.

  132. [12/11/16 22:41:21]? Silky_Shackles steps ahead, taking care not to trigger any other mine. She stares directly into the bleeding earth pony, firing up her horn and letting her voice boom. "Listen up, because I'm only saying this once. Drop your guns now, or you and your friends are going to rot in a ditch just like the green filly there!"
  133. [12/11/16 22:46:31]<Waak|Overcolt> The earth ponies look to each other and giggle at Silky_Shackles' words. Two of them gallop and attack on mine-sweeping Kichaka, while the third makes a beeline towards Silky, not reaching her target.
  134. [12/11/16 22:48:06]? Bro-Hoofs-a-Bear pops up from cover and fires a shot at the pony making for Silky_Shackles
  135. [12/11/16 22:49:48]<Waak|Overcolt> The shot goes wild, giving the pony even wider grin.
  136. [12/11/16 22:53:40]<Waak|Overcolt> One of the earth ponies going at Kichaka wields a machete, with which she slices at Kichaka - and her comrade next to her.
  137. [12/11/16 22:56:11]<Waak|Overcolt> Her comrade - sporting a pool cue - misses his strike due to the machete striking him to the chest.
  138. [12/11/16 22:56:56]<Waak|Overcolt> The last unicorn standing eyes Comet and opens fire at the flying pegasus.

  144. [12/11/16 23:08:50]? Bro-Hoofs-a-Bear leaves his cover and circles around to the left keeping clear of the minefield and takes a single precise shot at one of the ponies attacking Kichaka
  145. [12/11/16 23:09:17]? Comet_Blaze wobbles in the air briefly as the blast takes a chunk of her ear with it, eliciting a yelp of pain and surprise. She hadn't expected any of these ponies to be good enough to actually hit her in the air!
  146. [12/11/16 23:13:02]<Waak|Overcolt> The machete pony bites a bullet, now clearly injured and barely having strength to keep fighting.
  147. [12/11/16 23:15:01]? Comet_Blaze rears up in the air, flailing her forehooves briefly in anger as she turns to one side, swooping around to get a clear line of fire on the remaining unicorn. The bleeding wound from her ear staining the inside of her hood as the wind whipped it angrily. A moment of calm as she held her breath before biting the bit, two slugs screaming down-range at the remaining sniper before the pegasus
  148. [12/11/16 23:15:01]? Comet_Blaze began to dip and weave through the air evasively.
  149. [12/11/16 23:16:16]? Gearhead braces her gun against a rock and fires three times
  150. [12/11/16 23:19:29]<Waak|Overcolt> Comet_Blaze's guns fire - one shot hitting the unicorn, the other doesn't fire, and has malfunctioned.
  151. [12/11/16 23:20:04]<Waak|Overcolt> Gearheads aimed shots, however, hit the snow around her targets.
  152. [12/11/16 23:21:42]? Screw-Loose swings the Recharger rifle towards one of the enemy ponies near Kichaka and fires 3 more shots at them.
  153. [12/11/16 23:24:29]<Waak|Overcolt> Of the three shots, two go wild and melt the snow, while the third is aimed too low and hits one of the dud mines, triggering it to explode.
  154. [12/11/16 23:29:34]? Bro-Hoofs-a-Bear sighs and shakes his head as Kichaka is blown up again
  155. [12/11/16 23:35:12]? Kichaka grunts through the shrapnel clattering off her armor and lashes out with twin strikes at each of the ponies looming over her
  156. [12/11/16 23:36:53]<Waak|Overcolt> After both dodging the first strikes delivered at them, Kichaka grabs the two Earth Ponies' heads and smashes them at each other, knocking the two out.
  157. [12/11/16 23:57:16]* Notify: nomad is offline (Canternet).
  158. [12/11/16 23:57:17]? Silky_Shackles keeps her eyes on the charging pony. She grits her teeth, tapping her hoof on a mine that wouldn't light up. She moves a few steps back and braces for the strike.
  159. [12/11/17 00:02:58]<Waak|Overcolt> The last Earth pony left standing chargest at Silky and swings, only to hit the skywagon with the pipe.

  164. [12/11/17 00:09:17]<Waak|Overcolt> While one shot doesn't hit, the other hits its mark, hitting Bro-Hoofs to the left fore leg quite painfully.
  165. [12/11/17 00:10:15]? Bro-Hoofs-a-Bear stumbles as he is, grunting in pain
  166. [12/11/17 00:14:03]? Bro-Hoofs-a-Bear closes the distance with the unicorn and fires a single precise shot
  167. [12/11/17 00:15:14]<Waak|Overcolt> The unicorn goes down by the force of the shot, not seeming to stand up no more.
  168. [12/11/17 00:17:29]? Comet_Blaze grumbles briefly beneath her breath, turning her head and kicking the bar with her rear legs to open the chamber. A moment of effort and the jammed round slid free, falling to the ground below, a new bullet sliding smoothly into place. The pegasus turned and dove towards the remaining earth pony, a straight line shot at the combatant as she passed close over head. The blast of both

  170. [12/11/17 00:19:28]<Waak|Overcolt> Two small holes appear in the snow beside the Earth Pony, marking the missed shots.
  171. [12/11/17 00:19:55]? Gearhead takes aim once more, firing three more shots
  172. [12/11/17 00:20:58]<Waak|Overcolt> The last Earth Pony's legs fail in front of Silky_Shackles as he goes down by Gearhead's shot.
