-What is spoofing?
Faking your GPS location so you can play pokemon go at home and be lazy. You can do it on your phone, or on an android emulator like Bluestacks. Keep in mind Bluestacks needs a semi decent pc to run. Bluestacks as of yet isn't officially supported on windows 10, but it may still work.

-Can I log in with my phone pokemon go account on bluestacks?
Yes. Data is tied to your account, not device.

-Will I get banned?
Ingress had ban waves but you could survive them if you spoofed smartly. As in don't teleport miles away in seconds. Simulate walking with the fake gps app.

-What is a softban?
A soft ban happens when you teleport too far to quickly. Stops no longer work and all pokemon flee. Give it a few hours and it resets.

-What happens if I'm softbanned?
The theory is you are marked for a perma ban during the ban wave, but nobody really knows as the first ban wave is yet to happen. Just try not to get soft banned for now.

-If I don't get soft banned I'm okay right?
Again, nobody really knows yet. If you really don't want to lose your account then don't spoof or make a second account to spoof with. If you spoof there's always a chance to be banned.
