  1. In recent years Charlotte is the absolute worst thing I have watched to completion.
  2.
  3. I have no idea what the fuck happened to this show. Jun Maeda claimed he learned from his mistakes regarding Angel Beats and yet he made all those mistakes tenfold in Charlotte all while simultaneously abandoning the good things Angel Beats had going for it.
  4.
  5. The characters are flatter than the animation cels they're drawn on, there's no sense of consistency with them (Like with Yuu being this glorious narcissistic douchebag in EP 1 only to suddenly turn into generic brownhaired average guy MC by Ep2). The humor was the most forced tripe i've ever seen in anime, like really was Glasses-kuns obsession with the Idol girl followed up with Naos "SUCH A TURNOFF!" routine so funny that it had to be repeated over and over?
  6.
  7. But lets not forget how the show just brings up plot details such as Charlotte only to forget about them a few episodes later! And for good measure half way in the show just introduce a cast of literal nobodies who steal the spotlight and suddenly cause the story to swiftly change gears into this bizarre Charlotte
  8.
  9. Oh and the ending, what an absolute trainwreck. Charlotte. It's probably some of the absolute worst pacing I've seen in... anything really. But pacing aside what happens in these episodes is just... fucking retarded.
  10.
  11. One scene that comes to mind is when Charlotte But this isn't even the worst of it... Charlotte
  12.
  13. I could go on, especially with that Charlotte bullshit at the end, but I think I've explained why I think Charlotte is one of the worst things to come out in recent years.
  14.
  15. Is it the worst anime of all time? Nope. But it's certainly one of the worst so far in the 2010s.
  16.
  17. I cannot believe that the same man who wrote Clannad and Clannad AS wrote this abortion of an anime. Clannad and AS certainly have quite the number of issues, but the differences in quality is night and day.
