  1. Hi!
  2.
  3. So, I have 2 hard drives, one for my hard drive and programs, the other for various files (videos, photos, downloads folder, etc). I recently decided to reinstall windows 7 on my hard drive. No problems with the reinstall of windows 7, except now I cannot access my files disk (E drive), which I was using an application to hide files/folders on that hard drive from other user accounts I made on the computer.
  4.
  5. Any information on the hard drive cannot be viewed -- in 'my computer', I can see the drive, but it cannot be accessed nor can any information on it (size, etc) be accessed by trying to view its properties.
  6.
  7. I have tried the 'take ownership' registry method, and after setting myself as the owner of the hard drive, it still cannot be accessed.
  8.
  9. I am right now in the middle of trying to revert to the previous install of Windows 7 from the Windows.old folder, but I am wondering if there is anything else I should try to be able to access the files on my E drive? Thanks!
