  1. A light brown stallion paces from one side of the classroom room, to the other; he looks back at the blackboard where the words “Trotsworth has the trots” are scribbled across in messy writing. Every so often different colts and fillies giggle and it only adds to his irritation. You let out a loud snicker when the colt who did it, explained why it was funny.
  2. “Ms Scootaloo! Is there something you would like to share with the class?” He says as his eye twitches
  3. “Uhh not really.” You say as he turns around and begins to start erasing the message, as you look at it one last time, you can’t help but start snickering again.
  4. “All right its detention for you after school then.” He says angrily without looking back
  5.
  6. As the bell rings and everyp0ny clears out except you, you grumble, and groan as you smack your head against the desk.
  7. “If it displeases you that much, you should not encourage bad behavior by laughing at tasteless jokes.”
  8. “I wasn’t the only p0ny laughing you know.” You say irritated
  9. “Keep that up, and it will be detention for all next week.” You groan out loud and thump your head on the desk looking out at the window. The sky is a nice clear blue and not a single cloud in the sky. As you stare off into space, something catches your eye; a white cloud is darting across the blue. It looks so small but it’s definitely moving fast, you see it catch fire and that’s when you realize it’s not a cloud. You get up and start scanning the path its taking,
  10. “It’s heading right for the Everfree forest!” You shout
  11. “Ms. Scootaloo, sit down right this instant!”
  12. “No Trots, ugh I mean Mr. Trots, you gotta come see this! It’s amazing!” You say excitingly
  13. “Scootaloo, sit down!”
  14. You lean in as close as possible, but loose sight of the object in the rows of trees. At that moment Trotsworth scoots you back into your seat.
  15. “C’mon get back in your seat young lady.”
  16.
  17. After what seemed like hours of agonizing waiting, he lets you out of class finally. Running out of the school, you see the sun is already setting. It would be nightfall by the time you reached the area where that thing fell, plus you want Sweetie Bell and Apple Bloom to tag along. Coming back inside, you walk past the kitchen and into your room. Looking at your bed, you move off some of the Rainbow Dash posters you were planning on putting up before crawling in. You snuggle up and close your eyes; you can’t wait to tell your friends about this in the morning.
  18.
  19. As soon as you regain control of your body, you dart off the bed and grab the scooter in the corner of your room. As you are running towards the door your mother calls out to you from her room.
  20. “Scootaloo, where are you going!?”
  21. “To my friend’s house mom!” You yell opening the front door
  22. “Not until you take a bath first, you can’t go out with yesterdays funk still on you!”
  23. “But mom!” You whine
  24. “No excuses take a bath first!”
  25. You huff placing the scooter by the door before you start a mad dash for the bathroom. Turning on the water to full hot, you adjust some cold before jumping in. Vigorously you begin to scrub yourself with a brush, mom always did check on you to make sure you actually did what she told you. Looking at the shampoo, you pick one of the more neutral smells, globing it on your coat you realize
  26. “This is going to take forever to scrub out.” You groan “Why does mom always make me take these stupid baths? I’m just gonna get dirty again.”
  27. After the water rinsed off all the shampoo, you shake yourself off and jump out of the tub. Looking around frantically you spot a towel and dry yourself off with it, looking at yourself you see that every part of you has been cleaned. With damp fur and mane, you burst out of the bathroom and run towards the door.
  28. “Ok mom I finished bye!” You shout as you grab your scooter heading out the door, you hear mom yell something at you, but you pretend to not hear it as you slam the door behind you.
  29.
  30. Flapping your wings as fast as you possibly can, you zip through town ducking and dodging all the ponies. Spotting a makeshift ramp, you turn and get airborne off it as you spin and land. You laugh in excitement at both the landing and you’re on your way to get Sweetie Bell and Apple Bloom for the adventure in the Everfree.
  31.
  32. You remember Sweetie Bell was staying with Rarity for the weekend, so you first stop there. As you get off the scooter, you run up to the door and burst through it. You see Sweetie Bell with Rarity a few feet away working on a dress,
  33. “Sweetie Bell lets go visit Apple Bloom today!” You shout as Sweetie gets up and trots over
  34. “I cant today; Rarity and I are making dresses for the next Sisterhoove Social. Rarity talked Applejack into making events like fashion runs and dance etiquette.”
  35. Rarity nods her head in agreement “That’s right, we’re sure to take first place in those events that require actual lady skills. Unlike the dirt wrestling or whatever ruffian events Applejack thinks would pass as ladylike.”
  36. You groan in annoyance, “Fine I guess, me and Apple Bloom can still go at least.”
  37.
  38. >At Sweet Apple Acres
  39. “What do you mean you can’t go either!?” You say at Apple Bloom who is loading up some apples into a wagon.
  40. “Well Applejack and Big Mac are taking me to the Stock Show down at Applelooza.”
  41. “Why?” You ask annoyed as Applejack walks up behind you and loads some more fruit
  42. “Because we promised we would take her for the weeken, don’t cha worry we will back before ya know it.” She says reassuringly as you sigh
  43. “But by then it could be gone.”
  44. “What could be gone?” Apple Bloom asks looking back at you.
  45. “It’s nothing, forget it, see you later Apple Bloom.” You say getting back on your scooter and hightailing out to the Everfree.
  46. As you lean in and out trying to dodge the ponies and close to the outskirts of town, a voice calls out to you.
  47. “Scootaloo!” It screams as you come to a halt
  48. “What?!” You whine not wanting anymore interruptions from reaching your goal, looking back you see its Cheerilee
  49. “Are you heading to the Everfree?” She asks stomping up to you
  50. “….no…I was…looking for Rainbow Dash!” You reply trying to sound convincing, she doesn’t seem to be buying it as she raises her eyebrow in a questioning manner.
  51. “The Everfree is dangerous Scootaloo, do not go near it. Now c’mon let me walk you back home.” She smiles motioning her head to follow you
  52. “Ugh gee that sounds swell.” You say faking enthusiasm while looking up and pretending to see something “Oh wait is that Rainbow Dash!? I really need to talk with her see ya later Ms. Cheeerliee!” You yell jumping back on your scooter and taking off,
  53. “Scootaloo wait!” She tries calling out to you but you keep going, when you loose sight of her you turn course and head for the border of the Everfree.
  54.
  55. Going in was not particularly hard, you have often ventured into the forest on more then one occasion. Of course you had Sweetie and Apple Bloom for company, now all alone and dragging your scooter over the dead trees, you realize just how scary this place really is. Doing your best to guess where that thing landed, you go deeper and deeper into the black shadowed trees.
  56.
  57. It must have been hours you were looking, and yet not a single thing. Reaching a clearing full of broken and dead trees, you drag your scooter and place it against a rock formation. You yourself sit on the floor and lean up against it, you shriek in pain as the rock is cold to the touch and harder than any rock you have ever felt before. Getting up and looking at it, you lean in close and slowly place a hoof on the rock its smooth like a well polished gem and cut just like one. This feels more like your scooter than a gem though.
  58.
  59. “This is metal.” You say looking at it, seeing sharp points jutting out from random directions, you touch one. You prick yourself and draw some blood. Licking it clean you hear several low growls, you tense up but slowly turn around to see glowing yellow eyes in the shadows. The Timber Wolves slowly reveal themselves from the trees and make their way to you, looking frantically around; you see the metal has some indentations you could climb on. You jump as high as you can but fall just short of reaching them, frantically you jump up and down beating your tiny wings, (Why, why, why can’t I reach it!) You scream in your mind as tears roll down your eyes, you were so stupid to come here alone, now you’re going to die. The wolves sprint fast at you, and you push up with everything you got, feeling the edge of something, you pick yourself up frantically and hear a loud thud beneath you. A wolf rammed straight into the metal and is yelping in pain below as you look around, though you dodged the first one, another is rushing at you and you jump up again to another ledge.
  60.
  61. Again you hear a loud thud as you scale even higher, reaching a flat surface, you rush to the center and catch your breath. Hearing thud after thud from the wolves below, a sudden deep hum from beneath your feet makes your heart skip a beat. A thunderous rumbling echoes and a bright white light illuminates underneath you. Suddenly you feel yourself falling; you scream loudly and feel a sudden stopping. You look around and see you’re in the air on a giant metal floor of some kind. Looking up you see a massive metal creature looking down at you. It was hard to see its shape when it was lying down, but now it’s clear as can be, its aware and looking down at you.
  62.
  63. The wolves you had completely forgotten about are now barking and biting away at the creature’s feet. It looks down at them and roars, they yelp and run away and now it’s just you and the creature. You look up at it while it looks down on you, if it wasn’t for you being so high up, you would jump off. The creature slowly sets you down and allows you to get off, it turns around and thunders away with mighty steps, looking around you see the wolves have only hidden not run away.
  64. “WAIT STOP!” You shout at it, the metal creature looks pretty good compared to those wolves, it stops and looks back at you. “PLEASE TAKE ME WITH YOU!” You shout as it begins to run at you and jumps, you flinch in fear thinking this is the end, a loud bang and yelp are the only things you hear.
  65. Opening your eyes, you look around and see it blocked the path of an oncoming wolf with its “front hooves”, (“It saved your life, it has to be good.”) You think as you run up to its head and crawl up on its shoulders, it gets up and you shrink yourself to be as small as possible. You’ve never been so high in your life, and you hyperventilate taking it all in. You look at it and its just standing there, it remains motionless looking out into the sunset…..sunset?
  66. “Oh my Celestia, my family is going to be so mad!” You shout as the thing rotates its head to look directly at you, “Uhhh, my family! They’re going to miss me!....I have to get back home!”
  67. “HOME?!” Its booming voice sends you flying back until you come to a stop against its shoulder.
  68. You shake it off and get back up, “Yes, home! I need to get back home!” You say pointing towards Ponyville, it looks in the direction and begins to stomp forward. “Hey wait!” You shout as it comes to a stop, “You can’t go over there, are you crazy?! They would freak out!”
  69. It turns its head and tilts it in a way as though to ask why, you look around for an alternative. You can’t just leave him here, that would mean walking the Everfree alone. Spotting your scooter on the floor, you gasp. “That’s my scooter!” You shout as the thing looks down, it reaches and picks it up. “Give it here!” It brings it to its face and eats it “Awww man!” You yell angrily “Ahh whatever!”
  70.
  71. The sun has long gone down and you’re still over the trees on this thing’s shoulders, a cold breeze makes you shiver.
  72. “Stupid Sweetie Bell and Apple Bloom for…Apple Bloom...that’s it!” You say happily turning to the thing “I know where I can leave you.” It tilts its head again
  73. Stomping up to Sweet Apple Acres, the thing smashes through the white fence and past several trees.
  74. “NO NO NO!!” You scream as it stops again, “We do not break things! That’s wrong!”
  75. “WRONG?!” It replies
  76. “Yes it’s wrong, go around things, not through them!”
  77. It continues on its path but stops when it sees a tree, putting its foot down, it walks around the tree and continues to the barn. You exhale glad that it didn’t break another tree.
  78. “Stop!” You shout as you come to the barn, “Put me down!” You ask as it raises its hand, you get on and it lowers you to the ground. You dash towards the barn and open the double doors, if it squeezes in, it can just make it. “Come in!” you shout going into the barn.
  79. You see it lower itself and inspect the door, it crawls in and sits down across from you, and you look up at it and marvel at its size. You let out a loud yawn and rub your eyes; the thing mirrors your sounds and movement. You smile at how good it is at impersonations,
  80. “Man you’re awesome, but I really need to get back home.”
  81. “HOME?!”
  82. “Yes home, I need to sleep.” You yawn getting up and going towards the door; it crawls again and tries to follow you.
  83. “NO!” You yell at it angrily, “Don’t follow me! Stay here!” You scream pointing at the ground
  84. “HERE?!” It asks pointing down
  85. “Yes here. Just…just wait for me till tomorrow; I’ll come get you ok?”
  86. He says nothing but sits back down,
  87. “Finally.” You groan leaving the barn, as you close the door, you feel bad about snapping. It’s not his fault he can’t understand you well; you shake off the guilt and focus on getting back home.
  88. As you walk up to your home, you push open the door slowly and see your mother sitting on the couch.
  89. (Oh boy here it comes.) You think,
  90.
  91. “You’re in serious trouble young lady!” Your mother scream
  92. “I know.” You sigh
  93. “Oh you don’t know the half of it.” Cheerilee says from the side “I spoke with Rainbow Dash, and she told me you never talked with her. Now why would you do something so foolish as go into the Everfree? And why would you lie to us?!” She stomps “Can’t you see we’re only worried about you!”
  94. “I know.” You sigh again, at least with Ms. Cheerilee around; your mom won’t spank you.
  95. “If you really “know” then I expect to see you in my class tomorrow to write me a 5 page essay about why lying is wrong.”
  96. “On a Sunday?!” you whine
  97. “I’m not excited about working on a weekend either, but this a punishment; it’s for you’re own good.” She concludes as she trots up to the door, “Tomorrow at 10.” She finishes before closing the door.
  98. You groan and turn back to head into your room, but your mom is now up and right in front of you. You crack a small smile but she doesn’t return it.
  99. “Room, now.” She says sternly as you hang your head and slowly walk to it, she nudges you into it and closes the door behind her.
  100.
  101. After one of the worse spankings in you’re life, you use your wings to rub your butt as you walk over to school, mom wasn’t kidding when she said your children’s children would still be feeling it. With the school in sight, you look over in the direction of Sweet Apple Acres, just go to school, get it over with, and run to the barn. At the door, you let yourself in and walk down the hall into Cheerilee’s classroom. She’s already at her desk shuffling some papers,
  102. “Good morning Scootaloo.” She says in her usual cheerful tone, “I trust your mother had a long talk with you?”
  103. Turning around, you rub your butt again and turn back around.
  104. “Good. Now it’s my turn to punish you, take a seat and starting young lady.”
  105. With a huff, you stomp up to the back and sit at your desk, looking around; you realize that you didn’t bring a single thing to write with or on. You groan
  106. “Ms. Cheerilee, I don’t have anything to write with…or on.” You say as sweetly as possible, she shuffles some more papers and clears her throat
  107. “I had a feeling that would be the case.” She says getting up and grabbing a pack of paper and pencils in her mouth, she walks up to you and sets them on your table. “Now it’s a 5 page essay on why lying is bad, and a 2 page essay on the importance of being prepared.” She calmly says
  108. “Awww cmon!” You gripe
  109. “No excuses.” She concludes walking back to her table; she sits at her desk and continues about her paperwork.
  110. You groan slamming your head on the desk
  111.
  112. It’s been over an hour since you’ve started writing, looking at what you have so far, you see just a paragraph jotted down.
  113. “Writing is like…hard.” You say out loud as Cheerilee looks up at you
  114. “No talking.”
  115.
  116. =======================
  117.
  118. More or less the ending
  119.
  120. Watch Iron Giant, but instead, replace the fed with SA, the artist with Big Mac, and the mother with Cheerilee. Just with slight variations, and stupid humor about apples.
