Plzgoez came into the league on shaky ground because of the prior experience GnR had with him. At the time, there was nothing on Plzgoez's account to warrant keeping him out of the league, as all of his matches seemed legitimate, and Ninkazi did not have proof that Plzgoez had offered to play in gold league on an alternate account for GnR in the prior season. Plzgoez also left his ladder league just prior to applying for the CTL. He may have been promoted at that point but there's no way to see that and Beomulf and Plzgoez's response was that he left his ladder division to try and force a promotion through his placement matches.

Since that time and in the past four days, Plzgoez has left no fewer than 8 games in the first minute, ostensibly lowering his MMR to prevent himself from promoting to Masters league and thus making him ineligible. There were also three other games in his history four days ago which he may have simply left for no reason other than to get the loss and lower his MMR. We believe this type of ladder history to be in the same vein as someone playing in Gold league while actually being in Diamond for the purpose of playing lower level players for an easy win.

This is smurfing, and under Rule 12 of the CTL Rules, we have voted to remove Plzgoez from the CTL. As he has already played his match this week and won, that match will also be turned into a walkover for Formless. You are welcome to try and get a substitute match played.

I also made Beomulf aware of this situation and this vote taking place Wednesday morning as per rule 12 and recommended finding a substitute at that time to avoid this current situation.

We have not yet voted whether or not to ban Plzgoez from the league. At the time, he has only been removed from competition and Set 7 turned into a Walkover for Formless.
