Neurotic Ramblings [Satyr, Glimmer, One-shot]

Guess I'm saving this

Glimmer gets a new sweater I made myself, with Rarity's help.
Since it was made by me though, it will break apart in the first wash.
It is for this reason that I'd secretly take it out every time her clothes get washed.
I'd hope she wouldn't notice, but the smell will be too strong eventually.
It's going to have to go in the water at some point.
I'm not sure what's going to happen to it.
It doesn't matter though, I've already made several back-ups for this occasion.
Unfortunately I ended up wasting my entire budget on materials for multiple sweaters.
This is all she gets.
Well, this and some books from Twilight.
Seriously though, we live in a fucking library.
She's not going to be impressed with these gifts.
I've failed as a father.
She's going to be ridiculed by all the other children with better presents.
I'm not sure what to do, she didn't given any clear hints at what she wanted either.
I wish I could just get her some vidya, but Equestria is too rustic for that.
No cartoon shows either, I miss technology.
Anyway, Glimmer still gets shit presents.
Because of this, she hates her parents.
She could never hate her mother though, girl puts her on a pedestal.
Me though, me she could hate.
I'd hate me too.
Why do I have no idea what to get?
Then it comes to me.
I'd get her a diary.
She's doesn't talk to that many other people, so she has to be thinking a lot.
I would know, I'm the exact same way.
This could help her organize her thoughts though.
Maybe prevent her form talking to herself like I do.
But that's right, no money.
Maybe I could sell these sweaters, at least for materials.
Yes, I think this will work.
Maybe my daughter won't hate me, at least, not for that long.
She might be disappointed at first, but I'm sure she'll find use for it sooner than later.
Like writing about how much she hates her father.
