  16. Greetings--
  17.
  18. As stated in a previous paste internet privacy and security are two topics that are very related. Internet security is a very vast topic and an industry unto itself but if you are going to spend much time on the internet you had better be implementing some of the basics.
  19.
  20. This paste in no way covers all the aspects of internet security and is only offered as a sampling of what is out there and it's highly recommended you also read the privacy paste as well > http://pastebin.com/nF0M3aVf
  21.
  22. The majority of articles included here are brief and offer tips on settings etc that you can do to improve you security and give you an understanding of what it takes to be safe on the net
  23.
  24.
  25. ***Remember the more you know the better you can protect yourself and tailor your setup to best preserve and maintain your privacy and security. The playing field is dynamic, hackers and the gov are always working on new ways to get at your data etc - keep vigilante. Additionally, no one link or article is going to solve your security and/or privacy needs. And there is no protection against stupid - exercise commonsense, let this information guide you in choosing what is best for you. :=]
  26.
  27.
  28. *Aspiring hackers please note you will have to learn/do a lot more that just follow through on the info relayed here to be safe enough to commit felonies. just saying is all.
