  15. Most of us try to fight as hard and honest as possible against any form of animal abuse or neglect via Twitter.
  16. The effectiveness of using Twitter is a different discussion.
  17. I, amongst others, choose to use this as main communication channel.
  18. Some of us are semi ARA and semi Anonymous and we all know the existence of trolls every now and then.
  19. But something that can be quite surprising is the fact that enormous 'clan-like' wars take place.
  20. My opinion? It needs to stop, we weaken ourselves by doing this

  23. WEAKNESS OF MANKIND:

  25. In my humble opinion it's a human weakness that we let our self be tempted into fights, flares and rumors.
  26. We need to set that aside and focus on what we are here for.. The animals.
  27. If you want to prove yourself, go join a local fight club or something..
  28. I hope we are all here to fight animal abuse and protect animal rights,
  29. so why on earth should we spend precious energy on negative fights and discussions?

  31. Think about it, are you here to proof yourself and to show how effectively you can diss someone?
  32. If that is the case, stop reading and continue trolling.

  35. THE RESULT OF THESE FLAME-WARS:

  37. - Spending energy on useless issues
  38. - Acting upon unconfirmed rumors
  39. - Getting innocent ARA's suspended
  40. - Minimalizing the effect of all the ARA's on Twitter
  41. - Reducing the amount of participants during TweetStorms
  42. - Getting quality ARA's to quit Twitter
  43. - Getting ARA's stressed out and temporarily quit Twitter
  44. - Enormously reducing the joint efforts of all ARA's on Twitter
  45. - People starting to use sock accounts to troll
  46. I can go on for quite some time this way...

  49. WHO IS TO BLAME?

  51. That is NOT the issue here. Obviously 'the other team' is to blame,
  52. that's why these useless flame-wars are kept alive.

  55. NEGATIVE EFFECT:

  57. Some fighting ARA's are sending all sort of DM's to each other from 'conversations' with
  58. "the other team". Then, these screencaps are re-sent to more accounts and so on.
  59. DO YOU NOT SEE THIS HAS ABSOLUTELY NO POSITIVE EFFECT WHATSOEVER?
  60. Again, this is killing the road to our common goals, namely fight animal abuse..

  65. That's the simple part, you have the solution within yourself..
  66. Stop reacting, stop the blaming, stop the rumors, stop the false reporting and so on..
  67. Rise above your human weakness and work (more) together so we can reach the goals we so desperately need..
  68. I am not talking about becoming best friends and plan monthly meetups,
  69. but just stop the fucking war and start helping each other out!!

  75. It's a war (against animal abusers) out there and we are the soldiers,
