- Dancing flowers blooming on a summer night 1-5N
- [Hero Club room]
- Yum: I think we are beginning to grasp the gist of it. I feel like I can do naturally do the correct footwork now.
- Nat: Yeah. I can feel my progress as well. Thanks to that, I'm now aware of the more minor movements too.
- Fuu: Wow, you two are doing great!
- Yum: Fuu-san? I believe you were supposed to have a meeting with the members of the Chamber of Commerce today, no?
- Fuu: Well, about that... You see, I've got a little something to ask from the two of you.
- Nat: Something for us?
- Yum: And what could that be?
- [Gym hall]
- Girl: Teacher, what's next?
- Yum: Your next steps should be like this. And one, and two. And one, and two. And don't forget the steps.
- Girl: Okay!
- Nat: Picture your centre of mass below your navel. And think of extending your arms beautifully, down to the fingertips.
- Boy: Teacher, what's a "centre of mass"?
- Nat: That's... hard to explain. I'll show you instead. I'll be slow, so take a good look.
- Boy: Yay, teacher's gonna show us!
- Yum: Why, I never even imagined that we would be tasked with instructing children.
- Nat: But this is a good opportunity for us. If we teach them what we've learned so far, we could revise it ourselves.
- Yum: Yes, that is true. I must say though, these children develop at a remarkable rate.
- Nat: Yeah. All of them are already moving in sync. They're good kids, obedient and earnest.
- Yum: However, now that I take another good look... There does seem to be something amiss here.
- Yum: A set of naruko clappers would make this that much livelier...
- Girl: Teacher, what's a naruko?
- Boy: What, you don't know? It's the twirly thing you see in ramen!
- Yum: That would be a naruto. A naruko is an essential item for Kochi dancing.
- Yum: They are very fun and pleasant things that you make go clack when you move in time with the rhythm.
- Girl: Wow, sounds fun!
- Boy: Teacher, we wanna try that too!
- Girl: Yeah, me too! Me too!
- Yum: E-Even if you say that, the Bon dance does not use clappers...
- Nat: No, that might actually be good.
- Yum: Eh? Natsume-san?
- Nat: I also thought that something was missing. I guess I like my dances to be on the flashy side.
- Nat: It'd be hard to prepare a taiko drum like for eisa, but we could probably make some naruko clappers.
- Nat: Let's tell Fuu and try to talk it over with the Chamber of Commerce. If this works out, this should be a special kind of Bon dance.
- Yum: Natsume-san, if you say so...
- Nat: I'll go talk to Fuu. So you, Miroku...
- Yum: Yes! I shall take it upon me to come up with a naruko version of the Bon dance!
