- since my internet was dc'd for a day i decided to play some ac and think about weapon balance etc
- i found that, from a duel i had with burp (dm, complex) yesterday, he could only kill me with akimbo
- if you time akimbo you can easily rape anyone with any amount of armour
- i think it should still be that powerful
- but maybe spawn twice per map

- your goal shouldnt be to pickup akimbo

- yes, but armour is pointless, with the rate at which akimbo respawns

- Well, if you are spawning upstairs, and take the akimbo on your way up with flag you would be hard to kill for the next 30 sec

- yes, i agree, akimbo is rewarding to use, but at the moment it creates an imbalance. instead of nerf'ing it, increasing its respawn rate would be a good idea. in a 10 min game, maybe 3 times

- idk if you have to jump over an akimbo to avoid people knowing where you are
- cause you could pick it then turn somewhere different and unexpected
- you could use it to trick people

- with slow ac movement and where it is placed in many maps, there are only a few exits from akimbo rooms or spaces
- <SKB> ac needs faster movement

- so you still know exactly where someone is and can just estimate a time they will arrive at the next point
