1. >once again, you are Eventide
2. >you received an awesome letter today
3. >Alex was inviting you over for a sleepover!
4. >the letter said that whenever you ended up getting it was an okay day for her
5. >you sat on the edge of your bed, shoving clothes and beauty products into your small backpack
6. >this wasn't gonna work.
7. "Dad!"
8. >...
9. >thwump thwump thwump
10. >he poked just his nose in the door
11. >"Yyyyyyyes?"
12. >you hold out your bag, knowing full well he can't exactly see it
13. "Would you happen to have a bigger bag for my sleepover tonight?"
14.
15. >with your hooves enchanted properly, you stood before Alex's door, bouncing on your hooves
16. >after what seemed like an eternity, Gilda opens the door
17. >she doesn't even greet you
18. >she just sighs and turns her head
19. >"Hey kid! Your goofy friend is here to see you!"
20. >you wince, but you aren't kill
21. >Alex comes to the door to retrieve you, trying to withhold her own excitement
22. >she glances down at your overstuffed duffel bag
23. >she doesn't really seem to care
that much
24. >"You get here ok?"
25. "Of course. You know I'm a master of the transit system these days."
26. >you wink, causing Alex to blush and turn away quickly
27. >...huh.
28. >suddenly there's a bowl of food shoved at you
29. >with Alex standing blocker
30. >her head's completely down, as if she's bowing to you
31. >"I-I made this for you!"
32. >you peek in
33. >it's stir fry
34. >it's fucking stir fry
35. >what did you do to deserve such a fantastic friend?
36. >you gladly accept it, saying your thanks and ignoring the 3 tossed batches in the trash can
37. >Alex leads your throughout the house giving you the grand tour
38. >"...And there's the second bathroom, in case someone is in the first upstairs. Now, this room right here? You can't even look at it."
39. >the door she points at is in shambles
40. >it looks like it's about to fall off it's damn hinges
41. >you give Alex a questioning look
42. >"Listen, you don't wanna know."
43. >you shrug and move on
44. >she had a real big house, almost mansion sized
45. >when the two of you finally reached her room, you sat right at her desk, placing your bowl down
46. >off to the side, there were little poems
47. >every single one of them ended in 'Love Alex'
48. >if you weren't so hungry, you'd be quite curious
49. >"So what do you wanna do, Eve?"
50. >nonchalantly, you watch Alex pick up every poem and throw them away
51. >you're beginning to think she's too hard on herself
52. >slurping up some veggies, you start speaking, mouth full and all
53. "Wha woul you suggesth?"
54. >the gryphon half-breed puts her brain to work
55. >"W-well there's always Monopoly or Mario Party."
56. >you swallow and stare her down
57. "Do you want us to never have another sleepover again?"
58. >with lightning speed, Alex shakes her head
59. >"No no no no no no no!"
60. >her tail flicks your nose
61. >"It'd be a real shame if you weren't here..."
62. >and she's blushing again
63.
64. >the sun was down for the night, and almost everyone was in bed, just about ready to pass out
65. >you and Alex shared a bed, which was pretty cool
66. >eyes closed, you felt sharp poking in your side
67. >"Hey... Psst."
68. >you roll over and almost bump heads with Alex
69. >"Shit, sorry. You tired?"
70. >you rubbed your eyes and yawned
71. "Not really, no."
72. >"Wanna play truth or dare for a bit?"
73. >you glance at the clock
74. >11:00 PM
75. "Sure, why not?"
76. >both of you sit up, crossing your legs and wiping your faces of sleep residue
77. >you played rock, paper, scissors for first
78. >of course, you lost
79. >"Alright, truth or dare?"
80. "Truth."
81. >"Easy. How many coltfriends have you had?"
82. "None. You were the first satyr I've met ever. And before that, I was strictly homeschooled."
83. >you can tell Alex is taking mental note of that
84. "Truth or dare?"
85. >"Pfft, dare!"
86. >aw yiss
87. "I dare you to lick my hooves!"
88. >at that moment, you could've mistaken Alex for a cherry
89. >laying flat on your back, you could almost hear the evil cackling of the devil
90. >you hear her swallow as she crawls down to observe the underside of your hooves
91. >"I-I would like clarification on this stip."
92. "Alright. You have to lick my hooves until I say you're done."
93. >Alex's bang covers her face well
94. >drawing in a worried breath, she got right to work, giving your hooves a treatment you thought you wouldn't feel until you had moved out
95. >it tickled like crazy
96. >unable to withstand it anymore, you draw your hooves back, holding your knees to your chest
97. "Ok, ok! You're good. Haha..."
98. >while you laughed, Alex shook like crazy, covering her face with her hands
99. >worried, you reach over to her
100. >she snaps you up like a bear trap
101. >"Gotcha!"
102. >her rear naked choke is most impressive
103. >you reverse it, somehow managing to put her in a figure four leg lock
104. >she taps, pretending it's the worst pain in the world, and you release her from your tight grip
105. >breathing heavily and flopped on her side, Alex locks her eyes with yours
106. >you feel a little something
107. >is that your heart?
108. >...no, that's her tail stroking your leg
109. "H-hey, that tickles..."
110. >you reach out to swat at her tail, but she snatches your wrist
111. >the look on her face is just as shocked as yours
112. >you race with your free hand, trying to nab that tail, but cat reflexes are just too swift
113. >now Alex has both wrists in her clutches and you can feel her heart pounding through her fingers
114. >you open your mouth to protest
115. >but Alex's lips meet yours
116. >your face has never felt hotter
117. >but you can't move
118. >Alex withdraws, jumping out of bed
119. >you hear a door a little ways down the hall slam shut
120. >motionless, you lay in your own thoughts
121. >you can hear the sink running in the bathroom
122. >she doesn't want you to hear whatever noise she's making
123. >you break from your stunned silence and force your quivering limbs to carry you to the bathroom door
124. >with fear and tremors, you knock
125. >all you hear is the water running, nothing more
126. >you decide to twist the knob
127. >surprisingly, unlocked
128. >in the corner, huddled up with herself, was Alex
129. >she was crying rivers and shaking as if she'd just come out of a car crash
130. >"I-I-I-I'm sor-ry, E-Eve."
131. >with amazing calmness, you kneel in front of her, brushing her hair from her eyes
132. >she looks right into your eyes, waterlogged at this point
133. >you put your hand around the back of her head and pull her face to yours, kissing her
134. >almost instantly, she stops shaking, throwing her arms around you
135. >you didn't mind one bit
136. >when you two finally separate, you place your forehead on Alex's, still trying to soothe her
137. "Alex. It's ok. Calm down."
138. >she bites her lip and nods
139. >you wipe her tears away
140. "Come on. Let's go to bed."
141. >you stand up, holding your hand out and trying to be as inviting as you possibly can
142. >Alex slaps her hand into yours and practically jumps up, as if nothing happened
143. >"Y-yeah, let's get to bed already. Don't want mom yelling at us."
144. >of course, the two of you ended up spooning
145. >and you really enjoyed this feeling of big spoon
146.
147. >"So how was your trip?"
148. >Dad told you he'd meet you at the train station
149. >it was nice to come back to a familiar face
150. "Oh, you know. We played Mario Party and pretended to hate each other for the rest of the stay."
151. >"Aw, that's so adorable! When do you get to see her next?"
152. "If it's ok with you, Dad, she wanted to come over and stay all of next weekend."
153. >"Oh Eventide, sweetie, you know I'm perfectly fine with that."
