5. A police dog, known as a "K-9" or "K9" (a homophone of "canine") in some English-speaking countries, is a dog that is specifically trained to assist police and other law-enforcement personnel in their work. Their duties include searching for drugs and explosives, searching for lost people, looking for crime scene evidence, and protecting their handlers. Police dogs must remember several hand and verbal commands.

43. This is perfect for use in vehicles.
44.
45. Additional Information/Instructions:
46.
1. Before Disassembly: Make sure bowl is above 65F/19C. May run warm water over bowl to help raise the temperature. This makes the plastic more flexible.
47. 2. To Open: Place bowl on a firm, level surface. Put fist in bowl funnel with downward pressure. (You may want to fold a small cloth to cushion your fist in the funnel.) At the same time, with the other hand, pull up on tab.
48. 3. To Clean: Wash with warm sudsy water. Rinse well.
49. 4. To Reassemble: Place bottom of bowl on firm level surface. Next, snap in funnel. Last, snap lid on top.
50. Slowly fill bowl with fresh, clean water. Water will equalize in bowl and funnel. Use fill line in funnel as a guide. Fill line is approximately half way down in the funnel and you can feel this ridge with your finger. Over-filling could result in some spillage or leakage.
51. Check the water in the bowl at least a couple of times a day, especially if you have more than one pet using the same bowl. Heat and activity of your pet will vary your pet's need for water. Many small drinks throughout the day are the best for your pet instead of large gulps a couple of times a day.
52. Take the Buddy Bowl with your pet at all times to prevent needless dehydration.
Do not fire the device without a ball in it or damage can result. To vary the height of the ejection of the reward, use different weight rewards. For example: solid rubber ball ejects 2 feet, tennis ball ejects 10 feet, hollow rubber ball ejects 4 feet, large Kong ejects 2 feet (must be inserted upside down).

125. Leather Dog Mocs
126. Information: The natural softness of Dog Mocs, made from Deerskin, allows the dog to “feel” the ground just as it would naturally. This enables the dog to work without distraction and maintains its ability to safely navigate even the most difficult terrain.
127.
128. Tough and Durable: Even though it’s super soft, Deerskin is nature’s best leather…..strong, tough, and very durable. Your dog’s paws will be protected from jagged rocks, sharp objects, extreme environments, and the intense wear from the difficult work they perform.
129.
130. Always Stay On: The patented design of Dog Mocs, combined with the lacing closure, ensures they’ll stay on the paws, no matter the activity, or the terrain, or the weather conditions. Your dog’s paws are always protected.
131.
132. American Made: Dog Mocs are 100% made in America, using only American deerskin. You’ll see the quality construction and feel the quality material.
133.
134. Year-round Protection: Dog Mocs are perfect for every time of year. They are naturally insulating, giving great protection from the cold and ice, but deerskin is also very breathable, allowing you to protect your dog’s paws against burning surfaces, like rocks or pavement, without the worry of over-heating.
135.
136. Easy On: Dog Mocs have a wide opening, making them easy to slide on the paws, and the lacing design makes them quick to secure.
137.
138. Dry Soft: Unlike cowhide leather, Deerskin is known as a “dry soft” leather. Meaning that even after repeated cycles of wet-to-dry, the Dog Mocs will always maintain their soft feel….and they won’t crack and split, like cowhide would.
139.
140. Dog Mocs will protect your dog’s paws year-round, in any weather and through any terrain. Whether you’re hiking up a rocky, mountain trail… or traveling over hot pavement…or walking around the block in the snow, Dog Mocs provide reliable and lasting comfort and protection. The natural feel of the leather also allows your dog to “feel” the ground, so it can maintain use of that all-important sense of touch, as it walks, runs and explores. The rubber soles of the competition don’t allow for this, making walking in them unnatural and uncomfortable. And those that don’t have a rubber sole, simply are no match for the rugged durability of our premium deerskin construction. Patent pending.
141.
142. Care Instructions
143. Dog Mocs are handcrafted from premium, wild American deerskin, which provides the ultimate in softness and comfort, but with extreme durability. Deerskin has long been considered nature’s finest leather.
144.
145. It is known as “dry-soft” leather. Even after repeated cycles of getting wet and drying, the deerskin will continue to remain soft and flexible. It won’t stiffen or crack, as can be the case with cowhide leather. Additionally, water does not affect the deerskin’s durability or lasting quality.
146.
147. The deerskin also has a natural water resistance, which is enhanced in the tanning process. Leather conditioners are not needed for our Dog Mocs. Most will not only darken the leather, but will affect its breathability.
148.
149. To clean, simply use warm water and a soft towel. A mild soap may also be used, however, do not use any products containing solvents.
150.
151. Sizing
152. Be sure to measure both the front and back paws, as sometimes the difference in width can result in needing to buy one size for the front and another for the back, (one convenient reason for selling Dog Mocs in pairs).
153.
154. Measure the widest part of your dog’s paws (best when dog is standing) and find the width below that most closely matches it.
155.
156. Medium - up to 2" across the paw
157. Large - up to 2-1/4" across the paw
158. XL - up to 2-7/8" across the paw
159. XXL - up to 3-1/4" across the paw
