- >What's a mystery egg tournament?
- All participants give me 6 eggs, I shuffle the whole lot, give you 6 eggs back. You CAN get some of your own eggs back. You train your team and battle.
- >Rules for participating?
- Battling is now officially ORAS.
- Limited to 8 participants (0 slot remaining).
- >Rules for egg breeding?
- Species Clause: you cannot give 2 eggs of the same species.
- Moody Clause: nothing with the Moody ability.
- >Rules for team training?
- No ability capsule, the point of the tournament is you have to deal with the hand you were dealt.
- >Rules for battling?
- 6vs6 singles, normal rule
- Sleep clause: you cannot put 2 of your opponent to sleep at the same time. Self-induced sleep does not count.
- Evasion clause: no Double Team, no Minimize.
- That's it. Every other Smogon ban does NOT apply here.
- Also, both players please save the battle videos and send me the codes.
- >What's the timeline?
- Let's say you have until Sunday (February 8th 2015) midnight (GMT+0) to enter and give me the eggs. Truth is I'll be flexible but I prefer to rush things to avoid people dropping out. Breeding 6 eggs really shouldn't take long.
- Then from Monday on the distribution will begin. Because EV training and leveling is piss easy now I won't allocate any training time, as soon as you and your opponent are ready the battling can start.
- And let's go with
- -1 week for round 1 (until February 15th) (deadline pushed to the 16th)
- -1 week for round 2 and 3 (until February 23rd) (deadline pushed to whenever Kirzi and RDelois battle)
- Tournament will be knockout elimination format. Once you're out of the tourney you should challenge the remaining participants and the other eliminated people to friendly matches.
